Purpose:To analyse the ultrasonographic findings normal thymus in infants and determine the pathologic findings. Materials and Methods:Forty two infants without a history of chronic disease, tumor or steroid therapy were scanned in the axial planes with a 7.0 MHz sector transducer. Bilaterality, homogeneity, and the types, namely bilobate, quadragular or triangular. The intensities of thymic echogenicity were compared with those of the liver and spleen under the same conditions(time-gain compensation, depth and gain). Results:Bilaterality was seen in 36 cases, homogeneity in 35, homogeneity and bilaterality in 29, inhomogeneity and bilaterality in seven, and homogeneity and unilaterality in six. No case showedinhomogeneity and unilaterality. The shape was bilobate in 23 case, quadrangular in 13 and triangular in six, while the other border was convex in 29 cases and straight in 13. In no case wasechogenicity of the thymus greater than that of the liver or spleen. Transverse diameters were echogenicity of the thymus greater than that of the liver or spleen. Transverse diameters were 21-47mm(mean, 37.0mm;SD, 9.4mm) and depths were 10-37.5mm(mean, 25.8mm;SD, 5.9mm). Conclusion:The usual findings of normal thymus in infants are bilaterality and homogeneity, convex or shaight outer border, and echo intensity less than or equal to that of the liver and spleen. The possibility of thymic pathology is suggested when ultrasonography shows uniaterality, inhomogeneous echogeneity, and echogenicity greater than that of the liver and spleen.
근 미래 웨어러블 기기 디자인에서 응용 가능한 형태변형 디자인 및 인터랙션 특징에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 문헌을 통해 변형이 가능한 웨어러블 기기를 디자인하는데 있어 형태적, 의미적, 행위적 메타포인 의복 디자인과 기계적 구조의 제품 디자인 및 웨어러블 제품에서의 형태 변형의 요인들과 특징들에 대해 이론적 맥락과 개념을 살펴보고, 이를 기반으로 근 미래에 웨어러블 기기에 응용 가능한 형태 변형 디자인의 특징과 인터랙션 방법을 찾기 위해 수업과 프로젝트를 통해 총 35개의 근 미래에 이용 가능한 형태 변형 웨어러블 기기에 대한 컨셉 아이디어를 사례 수집 후 분석하였다. 추출된 아이디어의 대부분이 눈으로 확인하며 손으로 형태 변형의 조작이 가능한 손목 및 팔 부위의 아이템이 많이 선호되었으며, 변형 요인은 기계적 제품디자인에서 보이는 형태 변형 요인들과 큰 차이가 없었다. 그리고 기기를 변형하기 위해 조작하는 인터랙션 방법과 기기를 사용하는 인터랙션은 변형 요인과 아이디어에 따라 서로 다른 경우가 있었다. In this study, we have researched about the utilization of design and its interaction features from the transformation clothing design, transformation product design, and the representative transformation wearable product; slap-on as the literature studies since it are related on semantic and behavioral metaphor of transformation design of wearable device. Based on this, the case study was performed to develop the 35 concept ideas of future transformation wearable devices and usage scenarios through projects in classes and to analyze these concept ideas in order to find the features of design and interaction for wearable devices that can be utilized in the near future. Most concept ideas preferred the wrist and the front arm positions for easy manipulating of transformation and the transformation factors were not much different from the mechanical transformation design. The interaction ways for changing design of device were not always same with the interaction ways of manipulating device to control.
간혈관종: 초음파 검사상 종양 에코와 삼중시기 나선식 전산화단층촬영상 조영증강양상과의 관계

Purpose: To evaluate the relation of internal echo and enhancement patterns on three phase spiral CT in hepatic hemangioma. Methods: This retrospective study included 41 cases in 34 patients who were diagnosed as hepatic hemangioma who had ultrasonography and three phase spiral CT scan. We classified hepatic hemangioma as two different groups according to the findings of internal echo on ultrasonography. Three phase spiral CT images were obtained at 30 seconds(arterial phase), 60 seconds( portal phase), and 3-5minutes(delayed phase) after the initiation of injection of contrast materials(120ml, 2.7ml/sec). Enhancement patterns of hemangiomas during three phases were classified as total high attenuation, peripheral high attenuation, low attenuation, or iso attenuation. Results : The most common enhancement pattern of hemangioma on three phase spiral CT was peripheral high attenuation in whole three phases in both high and low echoic groups. There was no statistical significance(P>0.1). Total high attenuation in whole three phases on three phase spiral CT is 3 cases(3/13, 23%) in low echoic group and 1 case(1/28, 4%) in high echoic group. It is statistically significant(P<0.1). Conclusion: The enhancement patterns on three phase spiral CT is different between low and high echoic group. Total high attenuation in whole three phases on three phase spiral CT is more in low echoic group than in high echoic group.

Spontaneous rupture of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most serious complication of HCC. Immediate diagnosis and proper management are important for prolongation of survival rate of the HCC patients. We experience spontaneous rupture of HCC with hemodynamic study of CT and performed hepatic angiography with embolization. Authors report imaging findings of spontaneous rupture of HCC.
