Development of ULEV (ultra low emissions vehicle) requires more stringent control of fuel injection schedule as well as of exhaust gas after-treatment. Since contribution of first minute's HC emissions to the total amount is significant, it is necessary to optimize fuel injection schedule cycle by cycle during the period. In order to monitor cycle-based engine parameters, data measured in time domain was converted to the one in engine cycle domain. The converted data made it possible to calculate injected equivalence ratio and instantaneous mass flow rate of exhaust gas. The effect of injected equivalence ratio was presented in HC emissions measured with a fast FID and in A/F measured with a wide band lambda sensor. Analysis of three driveability test cases led to the following observations: 1) quantified relation between fuel DI and optimal overall enrichment, 2) close relationship among calculated injection equivalence ratio, behaviors of HC concentrations and A/F during accelerations, 3) quantified deceleration enleanment which causes partial burning or misfire.<br/>

주치의에게는 암환자의 암 전이 여부가 초미의 관심사다. 암환자의 10명 중 9명이 전이암으로 사망하기 때문이다. 암의 전이 초기에 그 전이 여부를 방사선 진단법으로 가능하지 않다. 혈액을 채취하여 암의 전이 유무를 진단 하는 기술이 개발되고 있다. 이 혈중 암세포는 혈구세포 10억개당 1~100개 정도의 극히 미량이 존재하여 암세포 분리기술이 특별히 잘 개발되어야 한다. 최근 마이크로바이오칩 형태의 분리기술이 큰 기술적 진화를 보이고 있어 본고에 소개하고자 한다. 이 기술은 한 가지 큰 의미를 갖는다. 그것은 암환자의 암 전이 모니터링에 필요한 도구가 될 수 있기 때문이다. 전이암세포 검출 키트로 전이암세포를 계수 하여 환자에게 투약한 항암제가 적합한지에 대한 답을 의사는 얻을 수 있다. 전이암세포 진단용 마이크로바이오칩 기술이 기존의 영상진단법만큼 중요한 임상 수단이 될 것으로 전망된다.

Authors experienced two cases of osteoarthropath due to mediastinal tumor, which are reported with a reveiew of the literature. A case was 59 years old man, who complained chest discomfortness, coughing, dyspnea and clubbing fingers. The other was 39 years old man, who complained arthralgia, clubbing of digits and pain in the left medial clavicular area. Their family histories were not contributory. The radiologic findings of the chest showed tumorous mass in the mediastinum. Examination of the extremities showed periosteal reaction and subperiosteal proliferation along the long bones and digits. Distal phalanges revealed clubbing without bone changes.
[論文] 메탄올(M85) 엔진의 냉시동성 개선을 위한 실험적 연구

Recently, air pollution and energy security problems have necessiated the developmet of alternative fuel vehicles. As an alternative fuel vehicle FFV(Flexible Fuel Vehicle) which can be operated by any mixture between gasoline and M85(methanol 85 % and gasoline 15% by vol. percent) has been drawing great attention. But poor cold startability of high methanol-content fuel which is characteristic of lower fuel volatility and higher latent heat of vaporization than gasoline is one of the major problems to be solved for the development of FFV. In this paper, important factors influencing cold startability of general S.I. engines are described. And, some cost-effective and practical methods were investigated in view of the optimization of fueling parameters and ignition system for M85 fuel. The test results showed good startability up to -22~-23℃.
