        Suggestion of Deterioration Criteria According to the Condition Grade of PC Water Pipes

        In this study, the internal and external states of domestic PC water pipes were investigated and analyzed and applicability was reviewed on the basis of the Japanese improvement judgment criteria of PC water pipes, and then the deterioration judgment criteria for domestic PC water pipes were established. The PC water pipes manufactured in Japan are similar to those in Korea. The research subjects selected were the water conveyance pipes in Pohang industrial complex and water purification facilities. These pipes were installed in 1971 to 1979 and passed over 40 years. At observatory points, resistivity of soil, chlorine ion and sulfate ion were measured. In order to analyze the relationship between pipe diameter and sound velocity value, the function of relationship between PC water pipe diameter and sound velocity value, which is used in Japan, was applied to the observed values in this study. The relational expression of Japanese PC water pipes is ‘y(sound velocity value)=0.3848×pipe diameter(mm)+3729.6’. Given the similarities of PC water pipe design method & material, field survey results, and measured values, it was not inappropriate to apply the Japanese judgment criteria for PC water pipe deterioration. Based on the cover coat thickness ‘12 mm’, concrete neutralization was tested, and then stability of the pipe body and the state of joints were investigated. After that, a PC water pipe was classified into a proper grade. The suggested judgment criteria for improvement are based on four grades. The criteria for Grade I are that a PC water pipe’s cover coat thickness is normal and has no erosion. The criteria for Grade Ⅱ are that a PC water pipe has erosion, and its cover coat thickness is more than 12 mm; that the joint separation distance is more than 18 mm, joints should be repaired partially, and the pipe should be re-diagnosed after 5 years. The criteria for Grade III are that a PC water pipe’s cover coat thickness is 10 mm-12 mm; that the pipe should be improved and enhanced structurally. The criteria for Grade IV are that a PC water pipe’s cover coat thickness is less than 10 mm; that the pipe should be replaced immediately.

        FT-IR 스펙트럼 기반 다변량통계분석기법에 의한 두과작물의 대사체 수준 식별체계 확립

        본 연구에서는 국내에서 재배중인 대표적인 두과작물(대두, 완두, 강낭콩, 팥, 녹두, 동부)종자로부터 전세포추출물의 FT-IR 스펙트럼 데이터로부터 다변량통계분석(PCA, PLS-DA, HCA)을 이용하여 신속하고 간편한 종 구분체계를 확립하였다. 대사체수준에서 팥, 녹두, 동부는유연관계가 높음을 알 수 있었으며 대두, 완두, 강낭콩은비록 두과작물이지만 차이가 매우 큼을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 본 연구에서 얻어진 대사체 정보의 다변량통계분석에 의한 유연관계분석은 흥미롭게도 두과작물의 계통분류학적 유연관계와 밀접한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 FT-IR 스펙트럼 데이터의 다변량통계분석은 방법의간편성과 신속성을 고려할 때 두과작물의 계통이나 품종의 신속한 식별 수단으로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 두과작물의 기능성 성분 함량 정보가 성공적으로 연계된다면 본 연구에서 확립된 대사체 기반 신속식별체계는 기능성 성분의 함량이 높은 계통이나 품종의조기 선발수단으로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. To determine whether FT-IR spectroscopy combined with multivariate analysis for whole cell extracts can be used to discriminate major leguminous plant at metabolic level, seed extracts of six leguminous plants were subjected to Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). FT-IR spectral data from seed extracts were analyzed by principal component analysis (PCA), partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) and hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA). The PCA could not fully discriminate six leguminous plants, however PLS-DA could successfully discriminate six leguminous plants. The hierarchical dendrogram based on PLS-DA separated the six leguminous plants into four branches. The first branch was consisted of all three Vigna species including Vigna radiata var. radiate, Vigna angularis var. angularis and Vigna unguiculata subsp. Unguiculata. Whereas Pisum sativum var. sativum, Glycine max L and Phaseolus vulgaris var. vulgaris were clustered into a separate branch respectively. The overall results showed that metabolic discrimination system were in accordance with known phylogenic taxonomy. Thus we suggested that the hierarchical dendrogram based on PLS-DA of FT-IR spectral data from seed extracts represented the most probable chemotaxonomical relationship between six leguminous plants.

        Discrimination of citrus fruits using FT-IR fingerprinting by quantitative prediction of bioactive compounds

        High throughput screening of citrus samples containing elevated concentrations of total carotenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds was accomplished using ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, combined with multivariate analysis. Principal component analysis and partial least squares discriminant analysis using FT-IR spectra were able to differentiate seven citrus fruit groups into three distinct clusters corresponding to their taxonomic relationship. Quantitative prediction modeling of total carotenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds in citrus fruit was established using a partial least squares regression algorithm from the FT-IR spectra. The regression coefficients (R2) of predicted and estimated values of total carotenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds were all 0.99. The results indicated that accurate quantitative predictions of total carotenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds were possible from citrus fruit FT-IR spectra, and that the resulting quantitative prediction model might be useful as a rapid selection tool for citrus fruits containing elevated carotenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds.

        전자상거래에서 핵심적인 연구질문 중의 하나는 서비스품질에 영향을 주는 핵심 driver가 무엇인가를 이해하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 관리기능 변수를 파악하고 그것이 서비스품질의 4개의 각 세부요소에 어떻게 영향을 끼치는가를 조사한다. 본 연구에서는 기존문헌을 토대로 서비스품질의 각 세부요소에 영향을 미치는 7개의 선행변수를 도출하였다:배달(delivery), 제품반품(reverse logistics), 불만처리(claim resolving), 추천(recommendation), 고객맞춤화(customization), 상호작용성(interactivity), 접촉(contact). 실증적 테스트결과 이 선행변수들은 모두 서비스품질의 각 세부요소에 유의한 결과를 나타냈으며 이는 어떻게 서비스품질의 수준이 관리될수 있는지에 대한 이해를 돕는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

        Genomic DNA의 FT-IR 스펙트럼을 이용한 복숭아 ‘유명’ 관련 품종의 유연관계 분석

        본 연구는 FT-IR 스펙트럼 데이터를 기반으로 다변량통계 기법을 이용하여 ‘유명’ 복숭아 자손 품종의 유전적 관계를 분석하였다. ‘유명’과 ‘치요마루’의 교배를 통해 육성된 4품종, ‘유명’ 품종의 자연교잡실생 2품종 그리고 아조변이 1품종을 사용하였다. Genomic DNA의 FT-IR 스펙트럼 데이터로부터 principal component analysis(PCA), partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) 그리고 hierarchical clustering analysis(HCA) 분석을 실시하였다. IR 스펙트럼은 구아닌고리(C6 = C6), 티민 고리(C4 = O4), 사이토신, N-H 스트레칭(amide I), C = O 스트레칭 진동(amide II) 및 PO₂- 이온화 대칭과 비대칭 스트레칭의 주파수 영역에서 전형적인 스펙트럼 차이가 존재함을 나타낸다. ‘유명’과 ‘치요마루’의 교배 품종 중 ‘미홍’과 ‘미스홍’은 ‘치요마루’보다 ‘유명’에 유전적 유사성이 더 높았다. 반면 ‘유미’와 ‘수미’는 ‘유명’보다 ‘치요마루’와 유전적 유사성이 더 높았다. ‘유명’의 변이 품종 ‘월미’는 ‘유명’과 밀접한 관계를 보였지만, 다른 교배 품종인 ‘미홍’과 ‘미스홍’에 비해 유전적 유사성이 낮았다. The genetic relationships of offspring cultivars from ‘Yumeyong’ peach were evaluated by using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Four offspring cultivars were bred by controlled hybridization between ‘Yumyeong’ and ‘Chiyomaru’, 2 from open pollination, and 1 from bud sport mutation. The FT-IR spectrum of genomic DNA were analyzed by using principal component analysis (PCA), partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), and hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA). FT-IR spectra showed that typical spectral differences were existed in the frequency regions of guanine ring (C6 = C6), thymine ring (C4 = O4), cytosine, N-H stretching (amide I), C = O stretching vibrations (amide II), and PO₂- ionized asymmetric and symmetric stretching, respectively. Among the offspring cultivars between ‘Yumyeong’ and ‘Chiyomaru’, ‘Mihong’ and ‘Misshong’ showed higher genetic similarity to ‘Yumyeong’ than ‘Chiyomaru’. On the other hand, ‘Yumi’ and ‘Soomee’ showed higher genetic similarity to ‘Chiyomaru’ than ‘Yumyeong’. ‘Wolmi’, a mutant cultivar from ‘Yumyeong’, showed close relationship with ‘Yumyeong’, however, the genetic similarity was lower compared to other crossbreeding cultivars, ‘Misshong’, and ‘Mihong’.
