        언택트 홈 오피스 체제의 업무효율 개선을 위한 홈 오피스 가구 시스템 개발

        (Research Background and purpose) The spread of COVID-19 is progressing very fast enough to say that it is the biggest crisis of mankind. Originating in Wuhan, China, the virus has spread across Asia and throughout the whole world. This study intends to develop a home office furniture system design for efficient work with the advent of the home office era due to the COVID-19 virus. In particular, it aims to provide an optimized space for home office users to work efficiently. (Research Method) Prior to design development, the concept and function of the office were summarized, and the reason and purpose of office changes were studied. In addition, by looking into the space and furniture of offices and houses, and deriving specific insights through in-depth interviews, attempted to develop furniture suitable for working in the home office. In order to derive the actual design result, a 1:1 scale 3D modeling design which considers various structural sketches and ergonomics, and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) were applied to the rendering to simulate how it should be used in real space. Composition and important elements of space were considered in the new form of home office, to make it efficient to work in. (Result) The key point of smart work in the non-face-to-face era is not the ease of movement, it’s the constraints of space. Now one is working outside the office, and this new space should be a home office where work space is limited at home. Functional efficiency were brought into the office environment, And design and CMF were harmonized with home interior and usability. The importance of home office furniture system is work efficiency and harmony with home interior, also the separation of the rest area and work area. The division of space not only gives a sense of psychological stability, and increases concentration when working. Working from home in a spare room, bed room, living room, or etc., partitions that can divide space in various form and can be combined with another desk or used alone. (Conclusion) Until now, the space called home was used to rest and communicate with family, but from now on, the purpose of home office should be added. New forms of space and furniture design which combines the meaning of home and work should be proposed continuously. In order to improve home office space and work efficiency, constant interest and research are needed, and changes in usability and actual work efficiency is going to be analyzed continuously.

        스마트 모빌리티 실내 공간 디자인 방향에 관한 연구

        (Research Background and Purpose) With smart mobility technology expected to advance further in the near term, and the era of “completely autonomous driving,” according to the US SAE standard, approaching (Lee, & Ban, 2020), this study aims to carry out the design direction of the interior space of automobiles, in line with the smart mobility era. The “smart mobility era” refers to a period in which vehicles are capable of fully autonomous driving powered by eco-friendly electricity, transforming into a generalized transportation system. Mobility will no longer be limited to the function of transportation, and will start to engage in various activities inside the automobile. Therefore, the objective of this study is to predict the changes in the inside space of smart mobility in the future, and examine the meaning of mobility space in our society. (Method) This study analyzes and predicts the direction in which automobiles are expected to develop, based on related articles, portal sites, National Statistical Office, Ministry of Education, and Science and Technology related to the upcoming mobility industry. Through surveys, in-depth interviews, and idea workshops, meaningful insights are derived, which can be used for smart mobility space design. (Result) It is predicted that the interior space of smart mobility will develop into a comfortable space for resting and leisure, and a personal work space optimized for business activity. For these two purposes, various services should be combined which leads to a natural user experience. The seating arrangements will move flexibly, but it should be designed based on the user scenario according to the purpose. In the mobility interior space, the seats occupy most of the space and take up the most important part in the user’s movement and space. Recognizing the connectivity and scalability of the interior space of automobiles, the space for transporting should be reinterpreted as a living space. (Conclusion) This study defined smart mobility and studied the development direction of the mobility space while the advancement of fully autonomous vehicles is developing at a rapid pace. The smart mobility space should be designed based on the user and recognized as a living space rather than just a simple means of transportation. The biggest change is expected to be the interior space without the steering wheel. According to the various activities available in the vehicle, the interior space of smart mobility should be a flexible and expandable space. Following the results of this study, we intend to expand the scope of the research not only to a new furniture system used in smart mobility, but also to a new space such as mobility stores and mobility offices.

        스마트 기반의 의류 청정시스템 가구 디자인 개발

        (Research Background and Purpose) From old times, regardless of where in the East or the South, clothes have been stored in cabinets such as wardrobes or built-in cabinets. However, today's furnishing is becoming a necessary element not only for storage, but also for antibacterial and cleaning functions in response to viruses and fine dust. The convergence of furniture and smart technology is expected to create new opportunities in the furniture industry, respond to changing consumer lifestyles, and present a new paradigm. Accordingly, this study intends to develop the design of a smart antibacterial system for clothing storage furniture in response to the worsening in the living environment. Proper distribution technology. And a closet which can be used by small furniture manufacturers. (Research method) This study examines smart furniture market trends, market analysis, user surveys, and demographic changes to review and selects appropriate smart technologies. The process of furniture design development includes user trend surveys, applicable smart technology reviews and test analysis, and design planning. Moreover, clothing purifying system and the actual furniture prototype is produced to specify commercialization of furniture development. (Result) Based on the insights obtained through the interior trend research. First, the concept is to play various colors in the wardrobe furniture. The inside of the closet is divided to make it easier for the small purifier to take good care of each piece of the clothes. The wardrobe furniture is designed in consideration of the interior volume, suitable for the clothes cleaning system module to operate, and for the installation quide and electricity wire to fit inside. The clothing purifying device is attached to the inner wall of the wardrobe and consists of humidity, temperature, fine dust, illuminance sensor, and humidifier, pen module and more. It operates semi-automatically by sensing temperature, humidity, and concentration of fine dust, and can manage all these conditions inside the closet. Three types of filters are built inside the device to remove fine dust, various impurities, and odors on wardrobes. (Conclusion) The purpose of this study is to develop accessibility to smart furniture. With convenient technology and friendly price, it can give customers a better experience in life. When technology enters the stage of large-scale commercialization, the technical attention decreases, but the price decreases. Taking advantage of this fact, if many small domestic furniture manufacturers continue to present more convenient and affordable smart furnishing to users, it will be possible to form a new smart furniture market. In the future, we intend to expand the field of furniture development which can be used in various environments such as public spaces and offices. It is expected that the results derived from this study can be used as basic data for smart furniture development with applicable technology.
