Gudukryoung Village, with which the University formed sisterhood relationship in 1977, still remains in the primary stage of development due to unsatisfactory progress in the Saemaul Undong there. The village is situated on the slopes of Mt, Guduk, 250 meters above sea level, in Daeshin-dong, Busan. This half-farming half-commercial community is also called "The Flower Village" because most of the villagers are engaged in growing and selling flowers for their primary source of income. It is to be noted that the 260-odd families(about 1,400 inhabitants) were originally outsiders who have come to settle here for the past 70 or 80 years. This paper attempts to show ways for the village to lead to the final self-support stage through the self-help stage by accelerating the Saemaul Undong in terms of rebuilding the Saemaul spirit, improving their environment and increasing their income. Following points according to the three divisions of study are suggested to accelerate the Saemaul Undong in the village. 1. Suggestions for rebuilding the Saemaul spirit: a. Expand the Saemaul education. b. Establish the Saemaul library. c. Hold "Clean the Village" contests. d. Conduct industrial tours. e. Hold combined "bansang" meetings. f. Inspect examplary self-support villages. g. Learn from successful stories of the Saemaul Undong. h. Show films in the Saemaul Undong. 2. Suggestions for improving environment a. Provide sense of ownership for their village and houses. b. Strengthen the villagers` efforts to improve their environment. c. Have the students in the village participate in the activities to improve environment. 3. Suggestions for increasing income: a. Find ways to make the village a flower complex and sell flowers directly means of area specification. b. Raise goats for a subsidiary income. c. Enlarge community funds by developing village construction projects and the Saemaul bank. d. Increase income by growing such vegetable as strawberry, onion and garlic.

As the electrical power industry is restructured, the electrical power exchange is becoming extended. One of the key information used to determine how much power can be transferred through the network is known as available transfer capability (ATC). To calculate ATC, traditional deterministic approach is based on the severest case, but the approach has the complexity of procedure. Therefore, novel approach for ATC calculation is proposed using cost-optimization method in this paper, and is compared with well-being method and risk-benefit method. This paper proposes the optimal transfer capability of HVDC system between mainland and a separated island in Korea through these three methods. These methods will consider production cost, wheeling charge through HVDC system and outage cost with one depth (N-1 contingency).

본 논문에서는 패러데이 효과(Faraday effect)를 이용한 초고압 전력설비에서의 대전류 측정을 위한 광CT의 특성에 대한 기초 연구를 기술하였다. 1310[nm] Laser Diode를 광원으로 사용하고 PIN-Photodiode를 수신부로 사용하였다. 광의 전송로는 파이버 내에서 편광상태를 유지 할 수 있는 30[m]의 싱글모드 파이버를 사용하였다. 전류의 측정은 400[A]에서 1300[A]까지의 범위에서 측정하였으며 온도는 20[℃]에서 50[℃]까지 측정하였다. 동일한 실험 환경 하에서 출력의 크기는 인가전류가 증가할수록, 온도가 낮을수록 비례하여 증가하였다. 온도가 50[℃]의 경우 최대 0.15[%]의 오차율을 나타냈으며, 40[℃], 30[℃], 20[℃]의 경우 각각 최대 오차 0.16[%], 1.24[%], 0.07[%]의 오차율을 보였다.

Recently the power system consists of the more complicated structure, due to increase of power demands. In this circumstance, the congestion and loss capacity in transmission line is also increased. Accordingly, the investment planning of transmission system is required to reduce the congestion and loss of the transmission line. This paper proposes a method to compute the congestion and loss costs which are the key elements in economic assessment of the power system planning. And the benefit of market participants in CBP (Cost Based Pool) is computed. To demonstrate the efficient of the suggested methods, these methods are applied to peak load system of 2016 in the 4th Basic plan of Long-Them Electricity Supply and Demand.

Recently the power system consists of the more complicated structure, due to increase of power demands. In this circumstance, the congestion and loss capacity in transmission line is also increased. Accordingly, the investment planning of transmission system is required to reduce the congestion and loss of the transmission line. In study of the planning of domestic and international transmission expansion, the reliability of transmission planning and minimizing Investment cost is focused. However, the study has not been performed systematically in economic aspects. This paper proposes a method to compute concurrently the economic assessment elements. This purpose is to calculate the more exact value for economic assessment of the transmission expansion planning.

본 논문에서는 SmartGrid 체제에서의 최적계통운영을 위한 단기계통계획을 제안한다. SmartGrid는 기존의 집중화된 전력공급에서 벗어나 신재생에너지와 같은 현대화된 전력기술과 정보통신기술이 융합된 실시간 전력제어시스템으로, 이러한 체제에서 전력계통운영의 효율적인 운영을 위해서는 다양한 계통계획이 필요하다. 이러한 계통계획은 용도 및 계획기간에 따라 다양하게 구분되며, 그 중 단기 계통계획의 경우는 3개월 미만의 기간 동안 계통상황에 영향을 미치는 요소를 고려한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 단기계통계획에 신뢰도 평가기술을 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 예상되는 수요에 대응하기 위한 기존 발전기 및 분산전원의 Merit Order와 DR과 같은 수요관리 방안을 신뢰도 평가기법인 Well-being 평가기법을 이용하여 연구하였으며, 제안한 방안에 대해 예제 계통을 이용하여 검증하도록 하겠다.
