Japanese colonial rule, which began after the unification of Korea and Japan in 1910, destroyed the spiritual and systematic foundations that defined Korean identity and encompassed all dimensions of life. In this situation, Koreans needed new systematic and spiritual principles of social unity to rewrite their identity and bind them together, principles that would serve as the basis for resisting and transcending the absolutized state power of modern Japan. At the core of that principle was a newly imagined concept of nation. This paper examines the function of Korean Christianity in helping Koreans under Japanese rule to envision this new nation. In this regard, it compares the logical structure of the ideology of the emperor in modern Japan with the logical structure of the newly reimagined concept of nation in the early Korean Christian independence movement through the lens of Robert N. Bellah's concept of civil religion. According to this study, the concept of nation envisioned by Korean Christians in response to the national self-worship in modern imperial Japan is a nation that practices self-transcendent submission to transcendent moral ideals and ethical principles. This was a kind of prophetic civil religion that served to unify Koreans at the time.
Acute Diffuse and Total Alopecia of the Female Scalp

Diffuse alopecia areata is the least common clinical type of alopecia, and this diffuse form lacks the characteristic hairless patches of alopecia and it begins as diffuse hair loss. Diffuse alopecia areata has been poorly characterized. In 2002, there was a suggestion to define this form of alopecia areata as acute, diffuse and total alopecia of the female scalp (ADTAFS). ADTAFS is characterized by a marked female predominance, tissue eosinophilia and a uniquely short clinical course. We report here on one case of ADTAFS. (Korean J Dermatol 2008;46(10):1407∼1410)

온라인 쇼핑몰에서 상품에 대한 사용자 리뷰와 평점을 분석하여 상품의 특징을 자동으로 추출하고 평점이 어떤 특징에 의해 부여된 것인지 판단하여 각 특징에 분배하여 점수화함으로써 상품의 특징을 파악할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 기존 방식은 상품 구매 여부를 결정하기 위해서 많은 리뷰와 평점을 읽는데 시간을 허비하거나, 상품의 장단점을 파악하기 어려울 뿐더러 상품에 부여된 평점이 어떠한 특징에 의해서 부여되었는지 알 수 없는 구조로 되어있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해소하기 위하여 사용자 리뷰에서 상품의 특징을 자동으로 추출하고 각 특징별 평점을 전체 평점에서 자동으로 분배․계산하여 보여주는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 상품별 리뷰와 평점을 수집하여 형태소 분석을 수행하고 이를 통해 상품의 특징과 이에 대한 감성어를 추출한다. 또한, 상품의 특징을 파악할 수 있도록 각 특징에 대한 가중치를 특징이 출현한 문장의 극성을 판단하여 부여하는 방법을 기술한다. 실험을 통하여 얻은 결과와 기존 방법을 비교하는 설문조사를 통하여 제안하는 방법의 유용성을 입증하였고, 상품 리뷰 전문가의 분석과 실험의 결과를 비교함으로써 타당성을 입증하였다. We propose a method to analyze the user reviews and ratings of the products in the online shopping mall and automatically extracts the features of the products to determine the characteristics of a product. By judging whether a rating is given by a specific feature of a product, our method distributes the score to each feature. Conventional methods force users to wastes time reading overflowing number of reviews and ratings to decide whether to buy the product or not. Moreover, it is difficult to grasp the merits and demerits of the product, because of the way reviews and ratings are provided. It is structured in a way that it is impossible to decide which rating is given to the which characteristics of the product. Therefore, in this paper, to resolve this problem, we propose a method to automatically extract the feature of the product from the user review and distribute the score to appropriate characteristics of the product by calculating the rating of each feature from the overall rating. proposed method collects product reviews and ratings, conducts morphological analysis, and extracts features and emotional words of the products. In addition, a method for determining the polarity of a sentence in which the feature appears is given a weight value for each feature. results of the experiment and the questionnaires comparing the existing methods show the usefulness of the proposed method. We also validates the results by comparing the analysis conducted by the product review experts.
전력계통 Peak-Shaving 성능향상을 위한 부하곡선 생성

본 논문은 Peak Shaving 알고리즘의 성능 향상을 위한 예측 부하 곡선의 생성의 한 방법을 제시한다. 여기서 논하는 Peak Shaving 알고리즘은 대용량의 배터리 에너지 저장시스템 (BESS, Battery Energy Storage System)을 위한 PMS (Power Management System)의 장주기 스케쥴링 알고리즘을 의미한다. 위의 PMS는 주로 배터리에서 에너지의 입출력을 제어하는 데에 주목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 Peak Shaving 알고리즘이 사용되는데, 여기서 예측 부하곡선과 실제 부하곡선 사이의 불확실성이 나타난다. 원활한 에너지의 충,방전을 위하여 본 논문에서는 주 단위의 표준화 방법과 계절별 부하의 특성을 고려한 예측 부하 곡선 생성 방법을 제안한다. This paper suggests a way of generating one-day load curves for performance improvement of peak shaving in a power system. This Peak Shaving algorithm is a long-term scheduling algorithm of PMS (Power Management System) for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). The main purpose of a PMS is to manage the input and output power from battery modules placed in a power system. Generally, when a Peak Shaving algorithm is used, a difference occurs between predict load curves and real load curves. This paper suggests a way of minimizing the difference by making predict load curves that consider weekly normalization and seasonal load characteristics for smooth energy charging and discharging.
피부 악성 종양에서 EGFR의 발현과 금 나노 입자를 이용한 Molecular Labelling에 대한 연구

Background: The potential benefits of a molecular characterization of cancer are clear. Because of this, there is pressing need to perform in vivo imaging of the molecular features of cancer. However, before designing an appropriate molecular targeting technique utiilizing a cancer-related target molecule such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), it is necessary to characterize the exact expression of the target molecule. Objective: The objective of this study was twofold. Our first goal was to characterize the expression of EGFR in skin cancer, and second, to develop nanoparticles conjugated with antibodies, demonstrating their use as optical probes for detecting cancer cells in vitro. Methods: We performed immunhistochemical analysis of EGFR expression in skin cancer using monoclonal antibodies. Gold nanoparticles were synthesized and allowed to conjugate to anti-EGFR in epithelial cancer tissue. Following an incubabtion period, we recorded surface plasmon resonance images using gold nanoparticles conjugated to anti-EGFR antibodies. Results: Specific membranous binding of EGFR was detected in all of the 10 non-melanoma skin cancers. Surface plasmon resonance images using gold nanoparticles also showed light scattering around tumor cells. Conclusion: These ex vivo results demonstrate that optical imaging using gold nanoparticles can allow selective detection of human epithelial cancer cells. Our study demonstrates the potential of gold nanoparticles to target, probe, and illuminate cancer cells making them an effective biomolecular cancer detection tool.
