        시뮬레이터 구축을 위한 2축2타선박의 조종운동 수학모델에 관한 연구

        선박의 항행안전의 문제가 중요시됨에 따라 선박조종시뮬레이터를 이용한 운항훈련, 안전성 검토 등이 필요성이 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 또한 추진성능을 향상시킬 목적으로 다양한 선종이 출현되고 있고, 이에 따라 선박조종시뮬레이터의 개발에 있어서 선박의 데이터베이스는 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 선종에 따른 수학모델을 각각 선박조종시뮬레이터에 적용시킴으로써 다양한 조종 시뮬레이션을 가능하게 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 우수한 추진성능을 목적으로 한 2축2타선박을 대상으로 조종운동 수학모델을 정식화하였다. 구체적으로 항만내에서의 저속시 조종운동을 구현할 수 있는 수학모델에 대해서 검토하였으며, 선체·프로펠러·타의 상호간섭에 대해서도 고려하였다. 또한, 수치시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써 2축2타선박의 기본적인 조종성능을 확인하였다. In view of the fact that marine casualties have more often occurred recently, there is a need for ship-handling simulator as a useful tool for maritime training, safety assessment and so on. Moreover various kinds of hull forms have appeared for the purpose of improving ship manoeuvrality. Therefore ship-handling simulator is in need of a database for various ships, and it can make diverse maneuvering simulations possible to apply respective mathematical model to ship-handling simulator. In this paper, we adopted twin-screw and twin-rudder ship and discussed mathematical model of maneuvering motions for her. It was discussed from the viewpoint of hull damping forces at low advance speed and interaction between hull, propeller and rudder. Using this model, maneuvering motion of twin-screw and twin-propeller ship was simulated numerically and her principal manoeuvrability was examined.

        PC를 이용한 선박 조종 시뮬레이터의 개발에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with PC-based ship handling simulator, which is now widely utilized not only for total assessment of safety in harbour area but also for training purpose. The suitable mathematical model for low advance speed manoeuvre is treated with the effects of current, wind, wave, tug force and water depth. We adopt 3 dimensional graphic technique for perspective representation of relative ship motion. Some graphical panels on the screen are devised for data input/output or ship manoeuvring information. We show the real time simulation of berthing menoeuvre applied to Pusan harbour as an example.

        On Visualization Simulation for Generation of Three Dimensional Sea State

        Recently a ship manoeuvring simulator has been developed by Korea Maritime University. We are desiring to apply the movement of wave to the visual scene of sea state in the simulator. This paper discusses the calculation method and visualization simulation of three dimensional sea state using OpenGL API, and the possibility to apply calculation result to the simulator. 최근에 한국해양대학교에서는 선박조종시뮬레이터를 개발했다. 이에 따라 시뮬레이터에 해상상태를 적용하기위해 노력중이다. 이 논문에서는 해상에서의 파의 움직임을 표현하는 수학모델과 OpenGL API를 이용하여 해상상태의 가시화 시뮬레이션 및 계산 결과의 시뮬레이터에 적용가능에 대해 논한다.핵심용어 : 선박조종시뮬레이터, 해상상태, OpenGL API

        출입항 조종의 실시간 시뮬레이션 기법 및 부산항에의 적용에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with desktop simulator which can be utilized for total assessment of safety in harbour manoeuvre on a personal computer. Current, wind and tug forces are treated as well as precise mathematical model of a ship for low advance speed including stopping behaviour with effect of water depth. By using the desktop simulator, the real time simulation of berthing and unberthing manoeuvres was applied to Pusan harbour as an example. It is concluded that the above simulation technique will be beneficial to assessment of ship's safety under the environmental conditions is harbour area.

        최근 한국전쟁 연구동향 ―2005년 이후 연구를 중심으로―

        This paper attempts to explore major studies about the Korean War during the period from 2005 to 2010. This research was encouraged by the fact that the Korean War has passed sixty years since its outbreak. It is worth to understand major perspectives of the Korean War in recent five years, because these aspects shape points of view to look at war of the current Korean society. Firstly, this paper focuses on studies about causes of the Korean War. Jeong, Byungjun, and Allan R. Millette dealt with the origins of the Korean War in their recent works. Jeong argues that the war has characteristic of an international war though the war followed the style of chronic border line conflict that happened since 1948. Millette adopted the concept of people’s war to explain the development of the Korean War by contending the Korean War as a civil war.. Secondly, this paper tries to identify thematic areas of the Korean War. Since the end of the Cold War domestic and foreign researchers began to approach to the war with various aspects: genocide, gender, unknown participants, influence to other countries, and literature. With this expansion of research topics, scholars succeeded in analyzing the Korean War in comprehensive ways. Thirdly, this study takes notice of the development of researches on individual and community group memories for the war. This movement focuses on war experiences of people and small communities like families rather than official records. This phenomenon can be understood as narrowing down of scope that deals with the Korean War from countries or nations to persons or villages. Generally, researchers use this method to deal with genocide in villages and individual ordeals during the war. Finally, this paper suggests future direction of studies of the Korean War. The war should be studied in various perspectives that reflect general thematic ideas of history. At the same time, more researches should be conducted based on aspects of military history to enhance the understanding of the Korean War as military history.

        펠로폰네소스 전쟁기 페리클레스의 전략에 관한 고찰

        The purpose of this paper is to define the characteristics of the strategy of Pericles and the period that the strategy was pursued by Athenians during the Peloponnesian war. Based on these goals, this study analyzed battles of the Athenians from 431 to 421 B.C. Pericles' strategy was a maritime strategy which focused on using Athenian Navy and avoiding decisive land battles, and a defensive one yielding initiative of the war to Sparta. At the same time, the strategy was a strategy of deterrence to prevent Sparta from launching endless attacks on Athens and Attica, though the deterrent power of Athens was limited. The basic goal of the strategy was to sustain Athens by maintaining Athenian Navy harmless and to wait until Sparta gave up the war. Under Pericles' strategy, during the period between 431 and 425 B.C., the Athenians, upon Peloponnesian attacks, continued to retaliate against enemy invasion by rupturing their shores using the navy. At the same time, the Athenians elaborately constructed a net of strategic defense to guard major accesses to Athens. With these efforts, the Athenians gained great success to capture Spartan elites at Pylos and to take the initiative of the war in 425 B.C. However, the Athenians abandoned Pericles' strategy since 424 B.C.: they found another solution to replace the strategy at the success of Pylos. They wanted to replicate the success again. The Athenians moved aggressively to conquer areas where looked essential for their strategic benefits. It was the behavior that Pericles warned, not to expand the war. After four years of the expansion strategy, in 421 B.C., the Athenians signed on the agreement of truce with Spartans on unfavorable terms.
