        농업진흥지역 밖 농지의 보전 적지 분석: 환경성과 생산성 중심으로

        Agricultural promotion areas are designated based on the efficiency of the investment on agricultural production infrastructure, and thus large and collectivized farmland is mainly included in agricultural promotion areas. However, Fields outside agricultural promotion areas would be necessary to be conserved and managed more actively when they are productive and environmentally valuable. This study evaluated fields outside agricultural promotion areas based on their productivity and environmental value. To be specific, slope and the land suitability index for paddy, upland, and orchard were used as proxy variables representing fields’productivity. The national environmental zoning map of Korea Environment Institute was incorporated for the environmental index. In addition, to aggregate the indices and evaluate each field, three methodologies were used: 1) intersection method 2) human development index of UNDP 3) Data Envelopment Analysis. The results show that, with respect to environmental conditions, the difference between fields in agricultural promotion areas and fields outside agricultural promotion areas would be insignificant. Also, when intersecting all indices together, 15.8% of fields outside agricultural promotion areas would satisfy criteria for the productivity and environmental conditions. The results thus imply that the productive and environmentally valuable fields should be considered as agricultural conservation areas, and managed them more carefully.

        손 제스처 상호작용을 통한 립모션 기반 윷놀이 게임

        최근 웨어러블 컴퓨팅과 가상현실 기술의 발전으로 제스처 인식을 통하여 비접촉식으로 상호작용하는 사용자 친화 적인 입력 인터페이스에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 립모션을 이용하여 별도의 학습 없이 손 제 스처를 통한 직관적인 상호작용이 가능한 손 제스처를 정의하고 이를 기반으로 윷놀이 게임을 제안한다. 본 논문에 서 제시한 방법은 가상의 3D 객체를 손으로 잡고 던지고 선택하고 이동하며 3차원 화면을 확대, 축소, 이동, 회전 하는 직관적인 상호작용이 가능하므로 윷놀이 게임 뿐 아니라 3D 객체를 다루는 다양한 가상현실 응용 분야의 3차 원 입력 인터페이스로 사용될 수 있다. 실험 결과 평균 85.4% 이상의 인식률로 59 fps 이상의 처리속도를 보여 실 시간 처리가 가능하였다. 또한 정성적 평가를 위하여 사용자 입력 인터페이스(마우스, 터치패널, 립모션을 이용한 손 제스처)를 달리하여 평가를 시행한 결과 마우스나 터치패널에 비하여 본 방법은 립모션 인식 오류로 인한 조작은 다소 불편하나 직관적이고 자연스러운 상호작용이 가능하고 게임의 흥미를 높이는데 도움이 됨을 알 수 있었다. The study on an intuitive user-friendly input interface such as gesture recognition has been actively proposed in recent years thanks to the development of wearable computing and VR(Virtual Reality) technologies. In this paper, we present a Leap Motion-based Playing Yut game with intuitive user input interface through the recognition of hand gestures without prior learning. The proposed method can be used as a contact-less 3D user input interface in various virtual reality applications as well as the Playing Yut game since it supports intuitive 3D interaction such as grabbing, throwing, selecting, and moving a 3D object or zooming, panning, and rotating a 3D view. As a result of the experiment on the hand gesture interface defined in this paper, the accuracy showed over 85.4 % and the performance indicated over 59 fps. Qualitative analysis with various factors relating to user experience were evaluated compared to the other methods using mouse or touch panel, and showed that Leap Motion-based hand gesture provided more intuitive and natural user interaction and aroused much interest to the game, but caused inconvenience condition due to the recognition error of Leap Motion device.

        농업ㆍ농촌의 사회ㆍ문화적 기능 가치 평가

        Although the demand and awareness of public regarding social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas would increase recently, the sustainability of them has continuously decreased. To derive policy directions for improvements of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas, This study analyzed willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas and its determinants by uisng contigent valuation method. The results show that the willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is positively affected by awareness of the importance of agriculture, interest in problems regarding agriculture in Korea, awareness of social functions of agriculture, and experience in rural life. These results would imply that policies for the improvement of public awareness and experiences increase the value of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas. In addition, the results imply that more diverse education programs and activities are required in order to change awareness of future generations in response to decreases in population having experiences in agriculture and rural life due to urbanization. Lastly, the results show that the average willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is about 35,600 won, and total willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is about 998.3 billion won. This is much larger than the government budget on enhancement of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas in 2019. This difference between government budget and the total willingness to pay implies that Korean government would be required more positive policies to maintain and enhance social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas.

        뇌혈관 조영상에서 본 횡정맥동과 라베정맥의 유출양상

        Recent advances in neurosurgical field have markedly reduced the mortality and morbidity after skull base surgery. Despite of new skills of skull base surgery, the complication rates remain high. Postoperative cerebral infarction is a main cause of complication. Although arterial compromise is responsible for a majority of these events, the venous side of the circulation can also play a role in producing cerebral infarction. One of the key areas of cerebral venous drainage is at the junction of the transverse sinus and vein of Labbe. We have analyzed 50 cases of cerebral angiograms performed to rule out several vascular diseases. The results are as follows : 1) The selected carotid artery influences opacification patterns of the transverse sinus. 2) The incidence of transverse sinus atresia is about 14%. 3) Anterior and posterior circulation may have different opacification patterns of the transverse sinus. We concluded that neurosurgeons must perform complete 4-vessel angiography and analyze various opacification patterns of the transverse sinus and the vein of Labbe to prevent venous infarction after skull base surgery.

        Sinus Pericranii 2례 치험

        The 'sinus pericranii" is a rare vascular anomaly involving an abnormal communication between extracranial and intracranial venous system, which usually involves the superior sagittal sinus. sometimes the transverse sinus. It is found beneath or in the periosteum of the cranial vault and is connected with an intracranial sinus through anomalous diploic veins of congenital or acquired origin. It is a benign scalp mass, and should be differentiated from vascular anomalies of the scalp and cystic masses of the scalp communicating with the cerebrospinal space. The authors present 2 cases of sinus pericranii which was spontaneously developed without any history of head injury. The lesion was found to be changed in it's volume according to patient's head position. Clinical characteristics of sinus pericranii is discussed.

        가뭄의 경제적 파급효과 분석: 쌀 생산을 중심으로

        We analyzed the effects of drought on rice production and its economic effects. The results show that rice yields decrease by 3.0% (0.7%) when the number of days of “very severe” (“severe”) drought increases by one. However, we also found that the effects of drought decreased continuously from 2011 to 2015. Specifically, even though the drought in 2015 was more severe than the drought in 2011, the marginal effect of drought on rice yield in 2011 (-0.08%) was larger than that in 2015 (-0.02%). This result reflects the effects of the enhancement of agricultural technologies and the adaptive capacity to drought. An analysis of a regional input-output table shows that the economic losses due to “severe” or “very severe” drought were about 27.6 billion KRW in 2011, 1.1 billion KRW in 2012 and 2014, and 13.2 billion KRW in 2015. Also, we found that the negative economic effects of drought would spread over nearby provinces due to economic linkages among provinces. For example, when crop production in Incheon decreases by 1% due to drought, the total production of Seoul and Gyeonggi province decreases by 0.08% and 0.06% respectively.

        지속가능한 축산에 대한 지불의향 분석

        Sustainable livestock production has been on the focus as an alternative to conventional factory livestock. This study analyzed society’s demand for sustainable livestock production and its policy implications. The enhancement in breeding conditions, the supply of safe livestock products, and decreases in negative environmental effects were defined as the three attributes of sustainable livestock production. The choice experiment was applied to evaluate the demand for sustainable livestock production. Policy portfolios consisted of policies regarding three attributes and additional taxation for the implementation of those policies. Given the policy portfolios, respondents were asked to choose a preferable option. The results show that the WTP (willingness to pay) for breeding condition enhancement and WTP for the supply of safe livestock products are more extensive than WTP for decreases in negative environmental effects. The aggregated WTP for sustainable livestock production is also quite large. To be specific, the aggregated WTP for sustainable pig production is about 3.7 ~ 4.4 trillion won per year. The aggregated WTP for sustainable cattle production is about 3.4 ~ 3.9 trillion won per year. Lastly, the aggregated WTP for sustainable chicken production is about 3.4 ~ 4.2 trillion won per year. These results imply that the government would have to correspond to high demand for sustainable livestock production by facilitating related policies and programs. 본 연구는 지속가능한 축산에 대해 정의하고 이에 대한 사회적 수요를 계측하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서의 지속가능한 축산은 자연과 더불어 사는 가축 사육 방식을 의미하며, 적절한 사육여건 제공, 고품질 안전식품 공급, 환경부하 최소화라는 특징을 가진다고 정의하였다. 본 연구에서는 주요 축종별 지속가능한 축산과 지속가능한 축산의 각 특징에 대한 일반 국민들의 지불의사를 정책 시나리오를 바탕으로 한 선택실험법을 통해 계측하였다. 분석 결과, 축종에 관계없이 적절한 사육여건 제공과 고품질 안전식품 공급에 대한 지불의사가 환경부하 최소화에 대한 지불의사보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지속가능한 축산에 대한 사회적 수요가 매우 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 구체적으로 지속가능한 축산에 대한 국민들의 연간 지불의사는 양돈 3조 7천억 원 ~ 4조 4천억 원, 소 3조 4천억 원 ~ 3조 9천억 원, 양계 혹은 산란계 3조 6천억 원 ~ 4조 2천억 원으로 계측되었다. 이러한 결과는 농정당국이 농정 지속가능한 축산에 대한 사회적 수요에 부응하는 정책 어젠다 및 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있음을 함의한다.

        비모수적 추정을 통한 쌀 농가의 생산성 및 수익성 변화 요인 분석

        본 연구는 한국 쌀 농가의 수익성 및 생산성 변화를 분석하며, 생산성 변화를 교역조건 변화, 기술 변화, 기술효율성 변화, 규모효율성 변화, 혼합효율성 변화로 분해한다. 이를 위해 생산성 변화 계측에 적합한 Lowe 지수를 구축하며 총요소생산성을 전술한 여러 효율성 척도로 분해하기 위해 자료포락분석을 활용하였다. 분석자료는 2003년부터 2016년까지의 농산물생산비조사를 이용하였다. 분석결과, 농가의 수익성은 교역조건에 가장 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 농가 수익성 악화는 주로 교역조건의 악화에 기인하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 한국 쌀 농가는 기술적으로 효율적인 것으로 분석되었으나 혼합효율성은 상대적으로 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국내 쌀 농가의 생산성 향상이 주로 기술 개발이나 농가들의 새로운 환경요소나 기술 상황에 따른 재배방법 최적화를 통해 이루어질 수 있음을 시사한다. 한편, 경영주의 나이가 많을수록, 영농규모가 작을수록 농가의 혼합효율성이 낮아지는 것으로 분석되었다. This study analyzes changes in the profitability and productivity of Korean rice farms. Also we decomposes changes in the profitability into changes in terms-of-trade, technical change, technical efficiency change, scale efficiency change and mix efficiency change. To be specific, we constructs Lowe index which is ideal for the measurement of quantity change. Also, we apply data envelopment analysis methodology for decomposing TFP into the several efficiency measures. Farm production cost survey covering the period 2003 to 2016 is incorporated. The results show that the terms-of-trade would have the largest and negative effects on farms’ profitability. Also, rice farms in Korea are technically efficient, but they exhibited much lower mix efficiency. Lastly, farm operator’s age would have negative effects on farms’ mix efficiency, while larger farms tend to have greater mix efficiencies than smaller farms.

        물-에너지-식량 넥서스를 활용한 통합적 농업자원관리정책 평가 - 지하수 함양 사업을 중심으로 -

        Korean agriculture experienced rapid changes in its production structure to respond fluctuations on external conditions, and these changes have increased the dependence between agricultural resources and negative environmental externalities from agricultural production. As a tool for managing agricultural resources and reducing negative environmental effects from agricultural production, this study employs water-energy-food nexus for integrated resource management. To show the necessity of an integrated approach, this study evaluated three policy scenarios including changes in capital interest, water capacity, and energy cost. The results show that three scenarios have unintended consequences for farmers’ incomes and their use of resources. Also the unintended consequences of government policies also affected farms’ vulnerability to environmental changes. In particular, the expansion of financing for the establishment of non-circulating water curtain facilities did not have a significant effect on the crop switching of farms. In addition, increasing the amount of available water through the aquifer recharge project leads to the installation of non-circulating water curtain facilities in zucchini farm. It raises dependence on groundwater in agricultural production, thereby increasing farmers’ vulnerability to groundwater shortages. These results imply that the agricultural sector needs to consider the interrelationship between agricultural resources when designing or evaluating policies.
