부인과적 골반내시경 수술 후 입원한 환자의 간호요구도 조사 : 일개 중소병원에 입원한 환자를 대상으로

This study attempts to disclose and measure basic nursing demand raised by patients who have experienced Gynecological Laparoscopic surgery, which is getting popular due to relative convenience, reduced pain and complication, and others. But there were no survey of the nursing care for the patients who have had laparoscopic surgery. The validity of the study was verified by an Nursing Professor and Head nurses. And the survey was cunducted from September 1999 to October 1999. They asked 194 sampled patients who visited Kang-Nam Miz Medi Hospital on the operation day and the day after operation and finalized 144 samples that could be analyzed to induce conclusions. For more convenient research, they employed SPSS program which was useful to statistical analysis. The 5 points scale data could be properly interpreted in terms of variance from mean for each 10 questions. The study indicates that there are two major findings from the survey. First, the result discloses that they feel more pain on the operation day. The pain related to CO_(2) gas, however, tends to be more increased on the following day. It implies that they need general pain reliever on the operation day and specific formula to control CO_(2) gas related pain on the following day. For example, Knee-chest position and applying hot bag could be recommended. Second, about 80% of nursing demand focuses on checking vital sign, encouraging deep breathing and coughing, changing position, early ambulating, nurse's concern about the pain, and applying hot bags on the shoulder. Meanwhile, the need for supporting general hygiene care shows only 3.3%. Remarkably, 95% of nursing demand is related to general condition such as room temperature, lighting, humidity, cleaning, and noise that are more sensitive to women. It is, however, not easy to generalize the research results since the study is confined to the patients who visit medium size hospital. Further research with more extensive samples should follow it. The study also confines the samples on patients who stay in a couple of days. The following study can more effectively generalize the findings through investigating the condition of patients who were already discharged from hospital.
