        단판 적층성형 학생용 책상.의자의 제조적성

        As physical condition of students improves, there is a need to develop human body-friendly desk and chair for students. In this study, desks and chairs were manufactured with curved veneer lamination under high frequency heating and pressing, using ten wood species such as Japanese red pine, Korean pine, pitch pine, Japanese larch, yellow poplar, black locust, oak, radiata pine, beech, and birch. The performance of these products were evaluated. The results obtained were summarized as follows; With high frequency heating, the turned lamination of veneers with full size sheet ($3{\times}6\;feet$) prepared by rotary lathe peeling was successfully applied for making the members of desk top, leg frames of desk and chair. Bending strengths of desk tops were relatively greater for yellow poplar, black locust and red pine, which were similar to those of beech and birch. Bending strengths of desk legs were classified into greater species group (red pine, yellow poplar, larch) and lower species group (radiata pine, Korean pine, pitch pine). Compressive strengths of chair legs in parallel direction to the lamination were greater in black locust and larch. On the other hand, differences between outer and inner gap at the top and drawer bottom of desk top were rather larger for the laminations of birch and beech, and less for those of yellow poplar and pitch pine, showing greater stability of open drawer space. In results, yellow poplar, larch, pitch pine and red pine showed good appearance and strength properties at the curved veneer lamination. Accordingly, it was believed that these domestic woods were able to substitute for birch which was being imported for the use of veneer-laminates type furniture.

        리투아니아 목공예의 상징체계

        Lithuania has the abundant tradition of wooden carving and the traditional cross craft was enlisted to the list of World Heritage of UNESCO in 2002. Traditionally Lithuanians used to erect the wooden crosses in the entrance to villages and at every crossroads to prevent residents from the evil. The crosses of Lithuania have rather complicated character than the normal crosses where two long panels are connected in the middle and various symbols are engraved with the diversified meanings ; the ancient history of Europe, which already disappeared from our memory, the image of prehistoric religion of Lithuania, and the very characteristic view of world of which uniqueness and creativeness were acknowledged by UNESCO. The aim of the article is to present the diversified symbolic images engraved in Lithuanian wooden crafts to Korean Readers and to analyze the reason that the wooden craft became the means to convey the symbolism to descendants. Lithuanian wooden carving can be divided into three large categories ; the cross carving(the simple crosses, and other crosses with the architectural construction), the figure carving (the carving of saints, legendary or mythical characters,) and the carving for daily usage (the agricultural tools, weaving needles, toys and musical instruments). The symbols engraved in diversified wooden crafts functioned as the means to convey the concept of the ancient religion discontinued since the christianization in the medieval times. They were also used for conveying the christianity and the anti-soviet mind to people during the soviet time. The tradition of symbolism still extends to other genres of culture other than wooden crafts, and Lithuanian theater which contributes to the reputation of Lithuanian culture abroad is not irrelevant to the tradition of symbolism. The contents of this article are based on my field work in Lithuania from 2002 till 2003. 리투아니아의 전통 목공예 중 십자가 공예는 유네스코에서 세계문화유산으로 지정한 바 있다. 전통적으로 리투아니아는 모든 마을 어귀나 신작로마다 십자가를 세우곤 했으며, 가로와 세로로 나무가 십자로 연결된 단순한 형태가 아니라 리투아니아인들의 상상력과 전통을 바탕으로 한 다양한 상징이 그 속에 첨가되어있다. 그 상징은 우리의 상상력을 뛰어넘어서, 우리가 미처 기억하지 못하는 고대의 이야기들이나 이미 사라져 버린 리투아니아의 고대 종교의 모습, 그리고 리투아니아 민족들만이 가지고 있는 독특한 세계관들을 투영하는 요소이며, 그 가치와 독창성은 거의 세계적인 수준으로, 그것은 유네스코를 통해서도 인정 되었다.이 논문은 한국인들에게는 소개가 된 적이 없는 리투아니아의 전반적인 목공예 속에 숨어있는 여러 상징적인 요소들을 찾아보고, 목공예가 그런 신비로운 상징들을 전달하는 도구가 된 이유를 고찰해 본다. 크게 십자가 공예와 성인 조각과 일상생활 용품이 중심이 되는 일반조각으로 나뉘는 리투아니아 목공예는, 멀게는 중세시대 금지된 리투아니아의 종교 사상을 후대에 전달하는데, 최근에는 종교가 억압된 소련 시대 말없는 항거의 상징이거나 독특한 변형된 형태로 반소사상과 기독교 사상을 전파하는데 사용이 되었다. 이런 상징의 전통은 단지 목공예만이 아니라, 다른 여러 장르로 확장되고 있고, 현재 리투아니아의 명성을 세계에 알리고 있는 리투아니아 무대예술이 가지고 있는 고도의 상징성 역시 이런 상징적 전통과 무관하지 않다. 이 글의 내용은 2002년부터 2003년까지 리투아니아의 거의 모든 지역을 직접 탐방한 본인의 현장답사를 바탕으로 했다.

        47, XXX 증후군 환아에서의 선천백내장 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of bilateral congenital cataract in a patient with triple X syndrome. Case summary: A 9-month-old female was referred to our clinic because of poor fixation and white pupils in both eyes. The patient underwent a performed chromosomal study in the pediatric department due to developmental delay and torticollis. As a result, she was diagnosed with triple X syndrome (47, XXX). Under general anesthesia, the patient underwent lens aspiration with intraocular lens insertion and anterior vitrectomy was performed followed by posterior capsulotomy with optic capture. Intraoperatively, remnant pupillary membrane, posterior embryotoxon, and anterior lenticonus with anterior capsular defect in both eyes were observed. But there was no specific finding on fundus examination. Conclusions: We report the first case of bilateral congenital cataract in a patient with triple X syndrome. It is recommended that clinicians check for cataracts as soon as possible when this chromosome abnormality is confirmed. 목적: 47, XXX로 염색체 이상이 있는 환자에서 양안 선천백내장을 동반한 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 증례 요약: 생후 9개월인 여자 환아가 주시를 못하면서 백색 동공이 있어 전원되었다. 환아는 전신검사상에서 발달장애와 사경이 있어, 소아청소년과에서 실시한 염색체검사상 triple X syndrome을 진단받았다. 환아는 양안에 주시가 잘 되지 않았고, 산동검사에서 진행된 양안 백내장이 관찰되었다. 환아는 전신마취하에 양안 수정체를 제거하고 인공수정체를 삽입하였으며, 앞유리체절제술을 시행한 후, 후낭원형절개술과 함께 광학부 포획을 시행하였다. 수술 중에 소견상 양안에 동공잔류막 및 후생태고리, 그리고 전낭 결손을 동반한 앞원뿔수정체가 관찰되었으나, 안저검사에서는 특이 소견이 없었다. 결론: 47, XXX 증후군 환아에서 양안 진행된 백내장이 동반된 환아에서 성공적으로 치료한 증례를 최초로 보고하면서, 이 염색체 이상이 진단이 된다면 가급적 빨리 백내장 동반 여부를 검사하는 것이 좋겠다.

        골육종 : 임상적 측면과 일반 X-선 필름의 유용성

        The clinical features of 141 patients with osteosrcoma were analysed and conventional radiographs of 92 patients out of 141 patients were reviewed retrospectively in order to assess the distribution of the age sex, locationsand to evaluate the predominant radiographic features. The incidence of tumors occurring in the ex-tremities is 90 percent of total 141 patients. the majortiy of tumors were located in the metaphyses of the long tubular bones. About sixty percent of the patients were in the seconde of life. The increment of long tubular bones. About sixty percent of the patients were in the second decade of life. The increment of the level of serum alkaline phosphatase was observed in 76 (67%) out 114 patients. It is considered that thoractic CT scan might be helpful for the evaluation of metastases was 20 parcent among 30 cases by CT being disclosed higher than by convetional radiographs. Of the 92 patients available for radiographic analysis predominantly osteolytic lesions were disclosed in 17 cases (19%) Preoperative radiographic impression was not the osteosarcoma in 8 out of 17 patients with purely osteolytic osteosarcoma. It was meant that the radiographic diagnosis was difficult in each case of predominantly osteolytic lesions. The patterns of periosteal reaction were variable and there was no evidence of peiosteal reaction in seventeen patients (18%) Both the cortical destruction and the intralesional calcifica-tion were observed in 85 percent of 92 patients with osteosarcoma. Extraskeletal tumor shadow was observe in 79 percent of 92 patients with osteosacoma but either the calcification or ossification was detected in only 55 patients among 73 patients with soft tissue tumor shadows. Only 7 patients had a pathologic fracture all in the femur.

        골육종 37예의 전산환단층촬영 평가

        The thirty-seven cases of osteosarcoma examined with computed tomography(CT) was evalu-ated. CT images were analyzed on the base of the intramedullary extension. cortical destruc-tion intralesional calcification extension to either the epiphysis or adjacent joint and soft tissue extension including muscular invasion and neuro-vasular invasion. And theses results were compared with the feature detected on plain radiographs. The assessment of the intra-medullay extension with CT was well established in the previous reports: in our series CT demonstrated the intamedullary extension 2.27 cm over the measurement of the lesion on plain radiograph and one skip metastasis on the distal femur in the patient with osteosarcoma on the proximal tibia. CT could depict the involvement of the epiphysis and joint however for the diagnosis and the assessment of either cortical destruction or intralesional calcification CT was not superior to plain radiographs significantly, CT provide valuable information about the soft tissue involvement specifically sparing of the neurovascular bundle(82%) However in the remaining 10 cases (28%) it did not differentiated the invasion of neurovascular bundle from the only close contact of mass to neurovascular bundle. CT proved to be a valuable method to assess the intraosseous and exteraosseos extent. particulary in planning limb salvage provedure.

        21세기 디지털 기술의 발전으로 야기되는 사회의 변화의 심각성은 단순하게 이해될 수 있는 것은 아니다. 농업혁명, 산업혁명과 같이 디지털혁명은 우리의 관점을 급격하게 변화시키며 새로운 기슬 환경의 압력 앞에서 사회의 체계를 변화시키고 인간의 감각과 자아마저 확장시키고 있다. 다이버시 티(diversity), 글로벌 모빌러티(global mobility), 컨버전스(convergence)라는 키워드로 대변되는 21세 기 새로운 디지털 사회에서 영역의 해체, 기능의 다변화와 무한 확장은 사회 현상의 일부분일 뿐이 다. 디지털 기술의 발달은 현대인의 삶과 문화를 근본부터 재구성하며 인간의 삶과 의식, 사회 제도 를 새로운 체계로 재편시키고 있다. 이러한 변화의 한가운데에서 동시대 미술계는 대중화, 금융화, 산업화되며 우리 삶의 일부로 급속히 스며들고 있다. 현대미술은 더 이상 대중과의 소통에 있어서 단절된 영역이 아닌 우리 사회와 일상과 공유되며 삶 그 자체가 되고 있다.
