대학생 역량강화를 위한 학습분석학 기반 교수자 대시보드 프로토타입 개발 연구 : A대학교 공학계열 학생을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 대학교육에서 교수학습의 질을 개선하기 위해 학습분석 기반의 교수자용 대시보드 프로토타입을 개발하고, 실제 현장에서 활용가능한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 공대계열 학생들의 핵심역량 관련 인재지수의 구인 영역, 학습활동의 질관리 척도, 학습역량 자가진단 조사 등의 다양한 데이터를 수집하였고, 수집된 데이터를 선별하여 2차에 걸친 전문가 휴리스틱 평가를 통해 교수자 대시보드 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 연구 결과는 학습관리시스템(LMS)뿐만 아니라 대학에서 주기적으로 실시하는 핵심역량 진단과 공학계열 학생의 역량강화를 위해 기본적인 학습역량 진단 데이터와 공학계열 학생의 인재역량을 측정할 수 있는 공학 인재지수를 활용하여 교수학습을 지원할 수 있는 보다 다양하고 유용한 정보를 활용하고 실질적인 프로그램을 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한, 지속되는 온라인 교육 상황에서 학습자의 자기주도적 학습 능력의 필요성이 더욱 강조되고 있는 시점에서 교수자가 자신의 티칭 상황과 학생들의 학습 참여 상황을 분석하여 적절한 개입이 필요한 학생들을 지원하는 데 유용한 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the data collected based on learning analysis to improve the quality of teaching in university education to develop a dashboard prototype for professors suitable for the university educational environment and practical use in the field, and derive implications. To this end, various data such as recruitment areas of the core competency-related talent index of engineering students, quality control measures of learning activities, and self-diagnosis of learning capabilities were collected, and two rounds of expert heuristic evaluation were developed. The findings are significant in that they provided more useful information and practical programs to support teaching by utilizing basic learning capability diagnostic data and engineering talent index to measure engineering students capabilities, as well as LMS. In addition, at a time when the need for learners self-directed learning skills is further emphasized in the ongoing online education context, it is expected that professors can analyze their teaching situations and students learning engagement and use them as useful materials to support students who need appropriate intervention.

비대면 실시간 수업에서 교수적 디지털 상상력을 통한 상호작용 경험 분석

이 연구의 목적은 비대면 실시간 수업에서 효과적인 상호작용을 촉진하기 위해 교수적 디지털 상상력(Instructional Digital Imagination: IDI)을 통한 교수자의 상호작용 경험을 분석하는 것이다. 코로나19로 인해 교수자들은 전면적인 비대면 수업을 운영해야 하는 비상사태에 직면하였고, 기존 면대면 방식의 수업과 마찬가지로 학습목표를 달성하고 수업의 질을 유지하고자 하였으나, 비대면 실시간 수업에 대해 학생들은 상호작용의 부족함을 주요 이유로 불만족을 나타냈다. 이 연구에서는 ‘대학 수업의 급전환 과정에서 교수자는 교수적 디지털 상상력을 통해 비대면 실시간 수업에서의 상호작용을 어떻게 만들어냈는가?’를 중심으로 세 가지 하위 질문을 구성하였고, 교수자들이 한 학기 동안 상호작용에 대해 무엇을 어떻게 경험하였는지 살펴보았다. 연구 참여자는 수도권 중규모 교육중심 사립대학인 A대학 소속 교강사 10명이며, 계획적인 표준화 면접을 실시하여 주요 사건 중심의 키워드 분석 및 의미분석 방법으로 상호작용 경험의 의미를 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 비대면 실시간 수업 경험은 ‘교수적 디지털 상상력이 있는 교수자의 특징, 교수적 디지털 상상력이 있는 교수자의 수업에서 상호작용 설계 및 운영 경험, 교수적 디지털 상상력이 있는 교수자의 학습자 중심 상호작용을 위한 에듀테크 활용 경험’을 중심으로 분석되었으며, 총 11가지의 하위 의미를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 비대면 실시간 수업에서 효과적인 상호작용을 촉진할 수 있는 교수적 디지털 상상력을 통한 상호작용 전략, 교수적 디지털 상상력을 통한 에듀테크 활용 전략, 교수적 디지털 상상력 촉진을 위한 지원 방안을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 예측하기 어려운 미래의 다양한 변화 속에서 교수자들이 교수적 디지털 상상력을 통해 교육환경 변화에 민첩하게 대응할 수 있는 교육적 실천 역량을 발전시킬 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze instructors’ interaction experiences with Instructional Digital Imagination(IDI) for promoting effective interaction in non-face-to-face synchronous classes. This study investigate instructors’ experiences with research question “How did the instructors and professors use their Instructional Digital Imagination(IDI) to create interactions in non-face-to-face synchronous classes in this emergent digital transformation?” The participants were ten faculty members from A university, a medium-sized education-oriented private university located in Seoul, Korea. To extract meaning of experience, keyword analysis and theme analysis on the critical incidents extracted from the planned standardized interviews were performed. As a result, their teaching experiences were analyzed in three main themes of instructors’ class with Instructional Digital Imagination: characteristics, interaction design and development experiences, and usage of EduTech. Eleven sub-conception were extracted(or derived). In conclusion, this study suggests three instructional implications in aspects of Interaction Strategies through IDI, Appropriated Use of EduTech with IDI, and Organizational Support Plans.
