This paper presents the HRTF based experimental approach to figure out why the human auditory perception on the interior noise source including the directional tonal components does not well match with the dominant features extracted from recorded acoustic signals in terms of psychoacoustics. Since the general objective evaluation models for tonalness among various sound attributes are a function of width, frequency, excessive level of tonal components respectively, the directional tonal components cannot be properly evaluated without considering the effects of headrelated transfer function on the binaural auditory perception. Thus, the directivity of source is additionally considered to prevent the erroneous conclusions from the same sound source in the process of source identification. The signal synthesis technique is used to solve a little difficulty in measuring all of desired acoustic signals for jury evaluation. The sound attributes of synthetic acoustics signals are analyzed to roughly predict the results of jury evaluation in advance by using sound quality factors such as loudness, sharpness, roughness, fluctuation strength and tonality. The jury evaluation is carefully conducted based on the recommended guideline suggested by N. Ottoet al. Each sound is respectively evaluated by selecting a value between -2 and 2 in intervals of 0.2 point. Through above procedure, based on the results of jury evaluation, it is confirmed that serious problems can be caused in the process of analyzing the dominant sound attributes in terms of psycho-acoustics according to the type of a microphone and a playback system.

Crash pad for automotive interior is composed of substrate, foam pad, and surface skin. Therefore, physical properties of crash pad are dependent on those components. However, chemical and thermal properties of material such as mechanical strength, elongation, and brittleness in low temperature are deteriorated along with heat and light exposure in certain period of time. In this study, physical and chemical properties of heat aged crash pad surface material have been investigated.

Silicon oxynitride films deposited by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition have been studied as a passivation and inter-layer for ULSI devices, because they have high resistance to humidity, low film stress and prevent from penetrating of alkali ions. In this paper, We were also evaluated oxynitride films by deposition and etching rate characteristics, FT-IR and SIMS analysis, and dielectric breakdown strength.

The pathological manifestation of the patient with convulsive seizures has not been clearly proved mostly until the clinical use of brain computerized tomography. The brain C.T. findings, anamnesis, clinical diagnosis in the 133 consecutive patients who admitted to this hospital because of convulsive seizures from Oct. 1981 to Feb. 1983 were analysed and literature review was made. 1) The C.T. scan revealed structural abnormalities in 46% of patients with seizure disorders, and their main clinical diagnosis were cerebral infarction or intracranial hematoma, cortical atrophy non-specific granuloma etc. 2) The older patients had a high rate of abnormal findings in the brain C.T. than younger patients. 3) The patients having short duration of disease history had higher rate of abnormal C.T. findings. 4) The patients with focal seizure had higher abnormal findings than generalized seizure. 5) The patients with seizure only showed C.T. abnormalities in 22% of cases inspite of patients with positive neurological findings showing C.T. abnormalities in 80% of cases. 6) The patients with temporal lobe lesion showed focal seizures usually in higher rate in compare with the patients with lesion in other part of brain.
