We investigated the electrical characteristics of amorphous silicon-zinc-tin-oxide (a-SZTO) thin films deposited by RF-magnetron sputtering at room temperature depending on the deposition time. We fabricated a thin film transistor (TFT) with a bottom gate structure and various channel thicknesses. With increasing channel thickness, the threshold voltage shifted negatively from -0.44 V to -2.18 V, the on current ($I_{on}$) and field effect mobility (${\mu}_{FE}$) increased because of increasing carrier concentration. The a-SZTO film was fabricated and analyzed in terms of the contact resistance and channel resistance. In this study, the transmission line method (TLM) was adopted and investigated. With increasing channel thickness, the contact resistance and sheet resistance both decreased.

We have developed an obstacle detection method using two cameras arranged vertically inside a vehicle. One camera is installed horizontally toward the front of a vehicle while another camera is installed, tilted toward the road surface, at a position which is higher than the first camera. From each image obtained from the two cameras, the farthest obstacle distance from the vehicle is calculated, and their calculated distance values are compared. If there exists a substantial difference in distance values, an obstacle is assumed to exist protruding from the road surface, otherwise no obstacle exists. The method is in use satisfactorily for adapted cruise control(ACC) purpose of a fully autonomous vehicle.

In this paper, we propose a compositional motion capture system to utilize sensor fusion technique to enhance the accuracy of measured motion data. As an experimental system, we designed a double pendulum system which is capable of 4-degree of freedom motion. Man data are acquired through a set of infrared stereo vision system while potentiometers are involved in each joint as reference data sensors. Each sensor data from stereo vision system are transformed to position data of the links in the pendulum system, and 3-dimensional OpenGL-based graphic systems are developed to visualize the real motion. Hereafter any sensor fusion technique may be applied to the developed system for improved accuracy of the motion capture even for human body.
