        벼 등숙일수에 따른 이삭 착생 부위별 종자의 수발아 변이

        본 연구는 벼의 출수 후 일수에 따라 수발아 양상을 조사하고 수발아 피해가 발생할 수 있는 시기를 예측하여 수발아 방제를 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 수행하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 벼 등숙기간 중 호품벼는 출수 후 20일, 신동진벼는 출수 후 30일부터 수발아 조건이 충족되면 발아가 시작되었으며, 50% 이상의 종자가 발아력을 갖는 시기는 호품벼가 약 35일, 신동진벼가 약 45일이었고, 출수 후 50일에는 두 품종에서 모두 80% 이상의 종자가 발아하였다. 2. 한 이삭 내에서 종자의 위치에 따른 수발아의 순서는 상위부 > 중위부 > 하위부 순으로 나타났으며 지경별로는 2차 지경보다는 1차 지경의 것이 높게 나타났다. 3. 수발아 검정 시 미발아된 종자는 배의 미숙, 종자휴면, 종자의 등숙불량 (불완전립)이 원인인 것으로 판단되었다. 4. 출수 후 30~45일의 등숙중기에 신동진벼는 호품벼보다 종자 휴면성이 높았다. This research was implemented to investigate pre-harvest sprouting characteristics in two Korean rice cultivars, Shindongjin (SDJ) and Hopum (HP). The panicles of both varieties were sampled after 15 days after heading (DAH) to 60 DAH at intervals of 5 days. As soon as sampled, the panicles were imbibed in water for 14 days at 25℃ to determine the vigor and germination ability of seeds according to location on panicle. To investigate the cause of non-germination of seeds in panicles, tetrazolium test and dormancy breaking were performed. The preharvest sprouting of HP started at 20 DAH while that of SDJ began at 30 DAH. The germination of seeds located in high rank branches within a panicle and the terminal seeds within a branch were earlier and faster and the germination patterns were same in both cultivars. The times at more than 50% of germination in a panicle were 35 DAH (57.0%) in HP and 45 DAH (56.8%) in SDJ. Preharvest sprouting was more than 80% at 50 DAH (82.6% of HP, 92.3% of SDJ) and more than 99% at 60 DAH (99.5%, 99.4%, HP and SDJ). These results indicated that the rate of PHS in a panicle increased with accumulation of the days after heading. The cause of non-germinated seeds at 15-25 DAH in panicle was immature embryo. After 30 DAH, however, when the non-germinated seeds were hulled, they started to germinate due to dormancy breaking, in which the germination percentage was higher in SDJ than HP. In conclusion, the pre-harvest sprouting varied according to days after heading, the seed position on panicle, and the dormancy intensity of varieties.

        세척을 통한 중금속(Cd, Zn)으로 오염된 토양의 정화

        본 연구는 중금속(Zn, Cd)으로 오염된 토양을 여러 세척 용제(물, mineral acid, chelating agent, organic acld)를 가지고 탈착시켜 제거하는 실험으로 pH와 농도에 따라 회분식과 연속식 실험을 병행하였다. 물과 NaOH에 의한 세척 효과는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났으며 HCI, EDTA, Oxalic acid에 의한 세척 효과는 매우 높게 나타났다. HCI에 의한 세척효과가 가장 높은 이유는 낮은 pH에 의한 중금속의 이온화 현상에 의한 것으로 사료되며 EDTA, Oxalic acid의 효과가 높은 것은 용해도를 증가시켜 중금속 이온과 많은 착물을 형성하기 때문이다. 또한 Zn이 Cd보다 대체적으로 탈착율이 좋았으며 일반적으로 제거 경향은 pH가 낮을수록, 세척 용제의 농도가 높을수록 탈착율이 증가하였다. 중금속으로 오염된 토양 복원시 Zn의 세척 용제로는 HCI 과 EDTA를, Cd의 세척 용제로는 HCI과 Oxalic acid를 가지고 세척을 함으로써 효과적으로 정화되는 것을 알 수 있었다. Several chemical washing procedures were applied to Zn and Cd contaminated soil. Batch and column tests were performed to determine the metal extraction efficiency as a function of pH and concentration. Washing efficiencies by water and NaOH are very low but those by HCI, EDTA and Oxalic acid are high. The most efficient washing occurs in case of using HCI because heavy metal is ionized easily at the condition of low pH. EDTA and Oxalic acid are also effective to extract Zn and Cd because they have a high complexation affinity for heavy metals forming active surface complexes. More Zn is released than Cd is and release trend is increased as pH is decreased and concentration of washing solution is increased. When heavy metal contaminated soil is remediated, HCI and EDTA are more effective to remove Zn than others are. Meanwhile HCI and Oxalic acid are more effective to remove Cd than others are.

        공항정책과 리더십이 성과에 미치는 영향 : 공기업 경영평가 수행도의 매개효과

        In this article, we verified to influence on the performance through performance management system and public enterprise management evaluation implementation degree by the airport policy and leadership. Data collected from 533 employees of Incheon International Airport Corporation and Korea Airports Corporation. Sample extracted with a simple random sampling. Data analysis adopted structural equation modeling. The results of this research found that airport policy and leadership are the key variables influencing airport performance. This research verified a significant mediation effect on the public enterprise management evaluation implementation degree. Thus, this research assert that positive proposals for airport policy and insightful leadership must be taken. This paper explores new view in the public enterprise management evaluation research and offers practical help to researchers and practitioners in providing a direction for airport performance. 본 연구의 목적은 공항정책과 리더십이 공기업 경영평가 수행도와 성과관리시스템을 통해 성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 데이터는 인천국제공항공사와 한국공항공사에서 simple random sampling으로 533명의 임직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다. 데이터 분석은 구조방정식모형(SEM; structural equation modeling)을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 공항정책과 리더십이 공항 성과에 핵심변수라는 것과 공기업 경영평가 수행도는 매개효과가 유의하다는 것을 실증연구를 통해 규명하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 공항정책에 관한 적극적인 제안과 통찰력 있는 리더십이 필요하다는 것을 주장하고 있다. 이 논문은 공기업 경영평가 연구에 새로운 관점을 탐구하고 공항 성과를 위한 방향을 제공하는 연구자와 실무자에게 실질적인 도움을 제공한다.

        Influence of Rainfall During the Ripening Stage on Pre-Harvest Sprouting, Seed Quality, and Longevity of Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

        The influence of rainfall during the ripeningstage on pre-harvest sprouting, seed viability, and seed qualitywas investigated in two Korean rice cultivars, Shindongjinand Hopum. When the rainfall was artificially treated in agreenhouse, HP started to pre-harvest sprouting at threedays of rainfall treatment (DRT), but Shindongjin did notshow pre-harvest sprouting at 40 DAH treatment and just0.3~0.8% at 50 DAH, which was much lower than 15.3~25.8% of Hopum in the same treatment. After harvest, theseed germination of Hopum decreased about 10~25% comparedto non-treated seeds, but that of Shindongjin decreased muchlittle rate than that of Hopum. The seed longevity testedby accelerated aging decreased with prolonged rainfall periodin both cultivars, but the varietal difference was clear; Shindongjincould withstand longer accelerated aging than Hopum. Shindongjin maintained its germination (>50%) ability after15 days of accelerated aging regardless of the rainfall treatmentperiod and time, but Hopum dropped below 50% germinationability after only 5 days of accelerated aging. In conclusion,rainfall during the ripening stage induced not only pre-harvestsprouting, but also reduced seed quality and longevity duringstorage, which varied between two cultivars

        Evaluation of Seed Vigor Tests for Predicting Seedling Establishment at Low Temperature in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

        This study was carried out to develop an evaluation method to predict rice seedling establishment (SE) under low-temperature conditions. Two Korean-bred japonica cultivars, Shindongjin and Hopum were used in the experiment. Fresh seeds were treated with an accelerated aging (AA) at 40°C and 100% RH for 1-15 days. The SEs of the fresh and AA seeds were evaluated in nursery beds at 17°C, and their correlation coefficients with seed vigor values measured by 9 test methods including standard germination test (SGT), cool germination test (CLT), cold germination test (CDT), seedling growth rate test (SGRT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), peroxidase (POX), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and α ‐amylase (AMY) activities. The percentage of SE decreased slowly from 75 to 0% with an increasing of AA period from 0 to 15 days. The result of nine vigor tests showed different correlations with the SE. SGT, CLT, SGRT, and POX were significantly correlated with the SE. In the correlation analysis with only short-term aging seeds (1-7 days), the SE was very highly correlated with SGT, CLT, CDT, SGRT, POX, and CAT. These results suggest that seed vigor values measured by several methods including SGT and POX could be used as a reference value to secure SE at low temperatures in nursery bed rice seedling culture.
