개선된 Google Activity Recognition을 이용한 상황인지 모델

Activity recognition technology is gaining attention because it can provide useful information follow user’s situation. In research of activity recognition before smartphone’s dissemination, we had to infer user’s activity by using independent sensor. But now, with development of IT industry, we can infer user’s activity by using inner sensor of smartphone. So, more animated research of activity recognition is being implemented now. By applying activity recognition system, we can develop service like recommending application according to user’s preference or providing information of route. Some previous activity recognition systems have a defect using up too much energy, because they use GPS sensor. On the other hand, activity recognition system which Google released recently (Google Activity Recognition) needs only a few power because it use ‘Network Provider’ instead of GPS. Thus it is suitable to smartphone application system. But through a result from testing performance of Google Activity Recognition, we found that is difficult to getting user’s exact activity because of unnecessary activity element and some wrong recognition. So, in this paper, we describe problems of Google Activity Recognition and propose AGAR(Advanced Google Activity Recognition) applied method to improve accuracy level because we need more exact activity recognition for new service based on activity recognition. Also to appraise value of AGAR, we compare performance of other activity recognition systems and ours and explain an applied possibility of AGAR by developing exemplary program.
지속성 외래 복막투석 소아에서 리네졸리드로 치료한 반코마이신 내성 장구균 복막염 1례

Peritonitis is one of the major complications of CAPD(continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis). Recently, multidrug-resistant organisms, such as vancomycin-resistant enterococcus(VRE) have been rarely reported by the pathogen as of CAPD-associated peritonitis. But, there is limited information on choices of effective therapy for VRE peritonitis in patients undergoing CAPD. We present a pediatric case of successful treatment of CAPD-associated peritonitis due to VRE with linezolid, and review of the literature. 복막염은 지속성 외래 복막투석 환자에게 있어 중요한 합병증 중 하나이다. 이러한 복막염은 잦은 재발과 최근 내성균의 출현으로 치료에 어려움을 겪고 있다. vancomycin 내성 장구균(VRE, Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus)에 의한 복막염은 1999년에 국내에서 처음 보고된 이래로 계속 증가하고 있으나 아직까지 치료에 대해 명확한 기준이 없는 실정이다. 저자들은 복막투석 소아에서 리네졸리드(linezolid)로 VRE에 의한 복막염을 성공적으로 치료한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
골관절염 치료효과 및 안전성에 있어 S-Adenosylmethionine과 Ibuprofen의 비교 연구

Objective : To compare the efficacy and safety of S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe) and ibuprofen in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods : Sixty patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA) were enrolled in this study. Patients received a daily oral dose of 1200mg of SAMe and 1200mg of ibuprofen for 4 weeks Treatment efficacy was evaluated with clinical parameters as Lequesne's functional index and visual analog scale (VAS) of pain. Adverse effects were monitored from patient interviews and blood sampling. Results: The treatment efficacy evaluated by clinical parameters was not different in both groups. Gastrointestinal adverse effects were more frequently observed in ibuprofen group than in SAMe. Conclusion : SAMe was equally effective to ibuprofen in efficacy and better tolerated in short term treatment of patients with knee OA.
도시광산산업 활성화를 위한 가전제품 수거와 처리시스템 제안

도시광산의 중요성에 대한 국민들의 인식이 저조하고 수거 시스템의 접근성과 편리성이 낮아 폐가전제품을 가정에 그대로 방치하고 있는 경우가 많다. 따라서 본 연구는 가전제품 수거와 처리시스템을 서비스디자인 방법론을 활용하여 개선된 방안을 도출하였다. 그 연구 내용으로 첫째, 연구목적과 목표를 설정하여 문헌 연구를 토대로 SWOT 분석과 휴리스틱 평가를 진행하였다. 또한 사용자 관찰과 인터뷰를 통해 가전제품 수거 체제의 문제점과 가능성을 분석하였다. 둘째, 사전조사를 기반으로 사용자를 대표하는 퍼소나와 고객여정맵을 작성하여 전체적인 방향 설정 및 정의를 내렸다. 셋째, 가전제품 처리 시스템을 대형 마트에 도입한 가상의 시나리오와 스토리보드를 제작하고 브레인스토밍을 통한 아이디어 제시와 전체적인 시나리오 시각화를 통해 연구를 발전시켜 나갔다. 마지막으로, 연구 과정에서 도출된 콘셉트를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해 서비스 블루프린트를 작성하여 개선안을 제시하였다. 또한, 가전제품 수거와 처리시스템에 대한 접근성을 높이기 위해 고객들의 이용 빈도가 높은 대형 마트를 주요 영역으로 선정하여 대형가전과 소형가전의 차별화된 서비스 시스템을 제공하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 서비스디자인 방법론을 통한 시스템의 개선방안을 제안함으로써, 접근 용이성과 편리성, 그리고 실효성을 기반으로 가정에 방치되고 있는 폐가전제품의 회수율을 효과적으로 높이고 도시광산산업 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. End-of-life home appliances are often left unattended at home because people have little understanding of the importance of the urban mining and the collecting system has a shortcoming of low accessibility and convenience. Therefore, this study elicited an improved suggestion of a collecting and recycling system of home appliances using a service design methodology. The contents of this study are as follows: First, this study proceeded with a SWOT analysis and heuristic evaluation based on previous bibliographical studies by setting a unique purpose and aim of this study. Furthermore, the study analyzed problems and possibility of the collecting system of home appliances through user’s observations and interviews. Second, this study set an overall direction and gave definitions by preparing for a persona and user journey map that stand for users based on previous surveys. Third, this study made a virtual scenario and storyboard in which the recycling system of home appliances was introduced into big marts; presented ideas through the brainstorming technique; and developed itself through visualization of the whole scenario. Finally, this study submitted an improved suggestion by preparing for a service blueprint in order to effectively deliver the concept elicited in the course of this study. Also, the study offered a method for providing a differentiated service system of big and small sized home appliances by selecting big marts that are used frequently by customers as a main area, in order to heighten the accessibility for the collecting and recycling system of home appliances. Similarly, this study expects that the collecting and recycling system of home appliances will effectively enhance the collection rates of the end-of-life home appliances that are left unattended at home and contribute to the invigoration of the urban mining based on its accessibility, convenience and effectiveness.
나노압입과 유한요소법을 이용한 단결정 실리콘의 파괴특성 평가

Nano-indentation test is used widely to determine the fracture toughness of brittle materials and to provide information on important material properties such as the Young’s modulus and hardness. In this study, using nano-indentation testing, atomic force microscope (AFM), and finite element method (FEM), we performed the indentation fracture toughness and fracture strength measurement for a (100) single crystalline silicon at different load states. In addition, the loads of the phase transformation events during unloading were estimated by the load-depth curves. The phase transformation load and micro-crack propagation events at pop-out during the unloading process depended on the maximum applied indentation load.
자동압입과 EDS를 이용한 주조 스테인리스강의 열화특성 평가

Cast austenitic stainless steel piping and pump, valve casings, elbows are susceptible to reduction in toughness and ductility because of long term exposure LWR(light water reactor) operating temperatures. In this paper, we have measured the material properties of long-term aged CF-8A cast stainless steel, accelerated aging at 400℃. These studies have been carried out to using ABI(automated ball indentation) test and EDS(energy dispersive spectroscopy). The fracture toughness of CF-8A cast stainless steel was also determined by using standard fracture toughness and Charpy tests. The decrease in fracture toughness on accelerated aging for 3,572 hours more than 38% compared to the unaged values.
