完形補文의 統辭와 意味에 대한 考察

This paper aims to consider the syntax and semantics of Korean undeformed NP complement clauses. In Korean there are two types of undeformed NP complement clause constructions which can be restored from ‘da-nun’ to ‘da-go-ha-nun’ or not synchronically. The syntactic structure of undeformed NP complement clause which can be restored from ‘da-nun’ to ‘da-go-ha-nun’ can be understood as the structure of relative clause embedding indirect quotation clause. But ‘nun’ in undeformed NP complement clause which can not be restored from ‘da-nun’ to ‘da-go-ha-nun’ is genitive case marker. Head noun in the undeformed NP complement clause which can be restored from ‘da-nun’ to ‘da-go-ha-nun’ specifies the semantic category of quoted sentence. And furthermore quoted sentence is interpreted as the contents of speech that is quoted. In the other hand the undeformed NP complement clause which can be restored from ‘da-nun’ to ‘da-go-ha-nun’ can be related to head noun variously. This is because ‘nun’ in the undeformed NP complement is genitive case marker. 박형진, 2018. 완형보문의 통사와 의미에 대한 고찰, 어문연구, 180 : 63~89 본고의 목적은 완형보문으로 언급된 구성의 통사와 의미를 고찰하는 것이다. 완형보문 구성 중에는 공시적으로 ‘-다는’을 ‘-다고 하는’으로 환원할 수 있는 구성과 그렇지 않은 구성이 있으므로, 이들을 구분하여 완형보문의 통사와 의미를 살펴본다. ‘-다는’을 ‘-다고 하는’으로 환원할 수 있는 完形補文의 통사 구조는 간접인용절을 내포한 관계절 구성으로 분석할 수 있다. 반면 ‘-다는’을 ‘-다고 하는’으로 환원할 수 없는 완형보문의 ‘는’은 공시적으로 속격 조사의 문법적 지위를 가지는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. ‘-다는’을 ‘-다고 하는’으로 환원할 수 있는 완형보문에서 핵어명사는 인용의 대상이 되는 발화의 의미 범주를 명세화하고, 피인용절은 발화의 내용으로 해석된다. 반면 ‘-다는’을 ‘-다고 하는’으로 환원할 수 없는 완형보문은 후행하는 명사와 다양한 의미 관계를 맺을 수 있다. 이는 완형보문 내의 ‘는’이 속격 조사의 지위를 가지기 때문에 나타나는 현상으로 이해된다.

Successful Management of Hepatic Lipidosis Accompanied by a Feline Skin Fragility Syndrome-like Lesion in a Cat

A 7-year-old spayed female Somali-cross cat was admitted with a 4-week history of anorexia, vomiting, weight loss, and lethargy. The cat was diagnosed with hepatic lipidosis. With intensive care and nutritional support via a nasogastric feeding tube for 3 weeks, the clinical signs of hepatic lipidosis were improved. However, skin lesions were found in the left and right scapular regions during the treatment that were suspected to be due to feline skin fragility syndrome (FSFS). Intensive wound healing therapy with granulated sugar, laser therapy, and a surgical flap was conducted. Skin lesions improved uneventfully without other clinical signs or recurrence of any skin lesion for a year. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a good prognosis in a hepatic disorder and concurrent FSFS. 7년령의 불임 암컷 소말리 교잡종 고양이가 4주 동안 지속된 식욕부진, 구토, 체중감소, 무기력을 주증으로 내원하였다. 환자는 지방간으로 진단 되었으며, 3주 동안 집중치료와 더불어 비위 영양관을 통해 유동식을 공급하였다. 치료기간 중, 지방간으로 인한 임상증상은 개선 되었지만 고양이 피부유약증으로 인한 것으로 의심되는 피부병변이 왼쪽과 오른쪽 어깨 부위에서 발견되었다. 과립당치료, 레이저치료 및 외과적 피판술을 통한 집중적인 상처 치유를 실시하였으며, 그 결과 환자는 다른 임상 증상이나 피부 병변의 재발 없이 성공적으로 치료되었다. 보고된 바에 따르면, 본 증례는 간질환과 고양이 피부유약증이 동반한 환자에서 좋은 예후를 보인 첫 번째 증례이다.

The purpose of this study is to determine the economical standard of road signs by verifying the difference of driver's recognition and reaction time according to the space rate of letters on the road signs. For this reason, indoor simulations was conducted to confirm difference of recognition and reaction time on six sign-targets having different space rate. Also, a negative binomial regression model was used to find the main factors which could lower the rate of misreading. For this model, increasing of legibility of sign is not only simple enlargement of sign, but also suitable match of letters and sign. The result of this study is capable of verifying the importance of the space rate in road signs, and being utilized as a effective method to determine the standard of the road signs.

Juvenile Nephropathy in a Jindo Dog

An 1-year-old intact male Jindo dog weighing 20 kg was referred with 7-day history of vomiting, anorexia,and lethargy. The dog was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) based on clinical signs, urinalysis, serum biochemistry, radiology and abdominal ultrasonography. Ten days of conservative therapy was given, but there were no signs of improvement. The patient was euthanized and necropsy was conducted. Renal histopathology was consistent with juvenile nephropathy and this is the first report of juvenile nephropathy in a Jindo dog.

The Post SEO Stock Under-Performance: Market Sentiment, Earnings Management, and Over-Investment

We examine whether a post-SEO stock performance over the three years is related to market sentiment when an SEO is conducted, earnings management that a firm manipulates discretionary accruals and announces optimistic management forecasts, and over-investment after the SEO. In our results, managers seem to exploit the high market sentiment. They boost their earnings by increasing discretionary accruals and hype up the manipulated earnings with management forecasts. Therefore, we can say that the SEOs in the high sentiment period appear to be planned based on managerial opportunism. The over-investment conducted by the managers with managerial opportunism leads to the poor stock performance over the three years after the SEOs. Although investors do not quickly adjust their over optimism due to the high market sentiment, the gradually deteriorated performance caused by the over-investment makes them depreciate the firm value gradually.

Long-Term Chemotherapy with Lomustine of Intracranial Meningioma in a Dog

A 13-year-old, neutered male, chihuahua was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with a history of a bilateral mandibular mass, intermittent vomiting, cough, and left sided staggering starting ten days prior. Clinical examination along with radiography, neurologic examination and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated a well-circumscribed and solitary mass in the brain stem. The dura mater was thickened with marked linear enhancement after contrast administration. Based on diagnostic image analysis and histopathologic examination, this case was diagnosed as intracranial meningioma. The patient’s symptoms were controlled for 18 months by a combination therapy of prednisolone and lomustine (CCNU), and then he died of at home.

한국어 관계절의 두 유형

이 글의 목적은 한국어 관형사절의 내부에 존재하는 표제명사와 공지시적인 통사적 공백의 효과를 설명하고, 한국어에 존재하는 두 유형 의 관계절의 존재와 특성을 밝히는 것이다. 표제명사와 공지시적인 통사 적 공백이 존재하는 관형사절의 표제명사는 통사적 공백의 효과로 관형 사절의 서술어와 의미론적인 관계를 맺는다. 한국어의 관계절은 통사적 공백의 유무에 따라 두 유형으로 구분될 수 있다. 두 유형의 관계절은 표 제명사와 주절의 사태에 미치는 영향에서 차이를 보인다.

방사면역측정을 위한 항 Gastrin 혈청의 생산 및 평가

New Zealand white 계의 토끼에게 EDC를 사용하여 hemocyanin에 접합시킨 human G-17-I을 면역한 결과 gastrin의 방사면역측정에 적합한 항 gastrin 혈청을 얻는데 성공하였다. 본 실험에서 얻은 항 gastrin 혈청의 역가는 1:25,000이며 human G-17-I과 human big gastrin에 매우 친화력이 높은 반면 다른 위장관 peptide 들과는 교차반응성이 아주 낮았다. 본 항 gastrin 혈청의 effective affinity constant는 $1.77{\times}10^{11}/M$이었다. 또한 총 결합부위(total binding sites)는 255 nM, 이질성지수(heterogeneity index)는 0.84 그리고 average affinity constant는 $0.79{\times}10^{11}/M$이었다. 본 실험에서 얻은 항 gastrin 혈청을 사용하여 사람과 흰쥐의 혈장 gastrin 농도를 방사면역측정법으로 측정한 결과 이미 잘 알려진 결과와 동일한 성적을 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들을 종합하여 볼때 본 실험에서 얻은 항 gastrin 혈청은 생리적농도로 존재하는 gastrin의 방사면역측정에 적합한 것으로 생각된다. In order to produce antibody for use in radioimmunoassay of gastrin in physiological concentration, four rabbits of New Zealand white were immunized with synthetic human gastrin-17-I conjugated to hemocyanin with EDC. Among them, only one rabbit produced antibody that could bind 50% of $^{125}I-gastrin$ at a final dilution of 1:25,000. $^{125}I-gastrin$ was prepared with synthetic human gastrin-17-I and $NaI^{125}$ by lactoperoxidase technique. The product was then purified on a column of Sephadex Gl5/G5O (7:3, w/w) followed by a column of DEAE sephadex A-25. The specific radioactivity of the purified $^{125}I-gastrin$ was in the range of 347-1429 ${\mu}Ci/nmole$ when determined by the self-displacement method. The effective affinity constant $(K_{eff})$, total binding sites (N), heterogeneity index $({\alpha})$ and average affinity constant $(K_{0})$ of the anti-gastrin serum calculated from Scatchard plot as well as Sips plot were $1.77{\times}10^{11}/M$, 255 nM, 0.84 and $0.79{\times}10^{11}/M$, respectively. When radioimmunoassay was performed with the anti-gastrin serum, it was confirmed that the mean concentration of gastrin immunoreactivity in plasma was increased by feeding in humans and rats, and also increased by bombesin administration in rats. The results indicate that the anti-gastrin serum produced in the present investigation is suitable for radioimmunological determination of gastrin in physiological concentration.
