        클러스터 기반 센서 망에서 데이터 전달 방법들의 성능 분석

        본 논문은 클러스터 기반 센서 망에 적합한 에너지 효율적인 토폴로지 관리 기법 개발을 위한 기반 연구로서, 세가지 종류의 데이터 전달 방법의 성능을 비교 분석한다. 첫 번째 방법에서는 각 클러스터의 헤더들만 무선 송수신 모듈을 활성화시켜 RTS/CTS/DATA/ACK 메시지 송수신에 참여하구 두 번째 방법에서는 각 클러스터당 다수 노드들이 메시지 교환에 참여한다. 마지막 방법에서는 각 클러스터의 헤더들만 RTS/CTS 메시지 교환을 위하여 무선 송수신 모듈을 활성화하는데, 자신의 클러스터 ID가 목적지 클러스터로 지정되어 있는 RTS 메시지를 수신한 클러스터 헤더는 다수 노드들의 무선 송수신 모듈을 활성화시켜 DATA 메시지 수신과 ACK 메시지 송신에 참여하도록 한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 클러스터당 활성화될 노드의 수와 부하 및 패킷 손실 확률에 따라 이상의 세 가지 방법의 에너지 소모량을 비교 분석한다. This paper evaluates the performance of three types of data delivery mechanisms in clustered sensor networks, as a basic research to develop an energy efficient topology management scheme. In the first mechanism, one node per cluster(clusterhead) turns on its radio(or wakes up) to transmit and receive RTS/CTS/DATA/ACK messages, but in the second one, k nodes per cluster wake up and participate in the message exchange. In the last mechanism, clusterheads turn on the radio to exchange RTS/CTS messages, and if a clusterhead receives RTS containing its cluster m as a destination, it makes k nodes in the cluster hun on the radio to receive DATA and transmit ACK. Through simulation, we show the energy consumption of the three types of data delivery mechanisms as functions of the number of active nodes per cluster, offered load, and packet loss probability.

        The Life Cycle Cost Optimization Methodology as a Tool for Designing Apartment Units

        The future costs of energy and the cost of the repair of apartment buildings are expected to rise continuously in proportion to the initial costs. Therefore it has become important for these increasing costs to be incorporated and reflected in the design of the building. Systems such as structure and services for the buildings remain constant, but a number of the walls and windows can vary and thus have a major influence on the total construction and running costs of a building. The critical factor in the apartment unit design for the optimization of life cycle cost (LCC) is the ratio of the x and y axis of the walls in the unit plan. This paper demonstrates how to achieve the optimal size and thus optimize the LCC of the building. 최근 공동주택의 유지관리를 위한 인건비, 에너지비가 급속하게 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 설계단계에서 이 비용을 절감할 수 있는 기법의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 공동주택에 있어서는 대부분의 경우 세대당 동일한 내외벽, 창호 등이 반복적으로 사용되므로 단위평면의 LCC 최적화가 전체 건물의 LCC 최적화에 있어서 가장 중요하다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 LCC 비용항목 중 공동주택의 물리적 시스템에 탄력성있게 변화하는 LCC 비용항목을 파악하였고, 초기건축비, 보수교체비, 에너지비를 종합적으로 최적화시킬 수 있도록 LCC 부위단가 개념을 도입하여 공동주택 적정치수 산정방법을 제시하였다. 여기에서 보수교체비산정은 보수교체비용 최소화에 의한 최적 보수교체주기법에 근거하였으며, 에너지 소비량 추정은 DOE-2에 의한 동적 에너지 부하량을 추정하여 LCC 부위단가 개념에 접목하였다. 보수교체비 최적화 기법과 동적에너지 분석에 의한 LCC 부위단가 개념은 기존의 개념과는 다른 독창적인 개념이다.

        Digital Manufacturing is a technology to facilitate effective product developments and agile productions by digital environments representing the physical and logical schema and the behavior of real manufacturing system including manufacturing resources, processes and products. A digital factory as a well-designed and integrated environment is essential for successful applications of this technology. In this research, we constructed a sophisticated digital factory of an automotive company’ general assembly shop by measuring and 3-D CAD modeling using parametric methods. Specific parameters of each objects were decided by object-oriented schema of the general assembly shop. It is expected that this method is very useful for constructions of a digital factory, and helps to manage diverse information and re-use 3D models.

        차량 인터넷에서 협업 비디오 감시 서비스를 위한 효율적인 이웃 발견 방법

        The rapid deployment of millions of mobile sensors and smart devices has resulted in high demand for opportunistic encounter-based networking. For the cooperative video surveillance of dashboard cameras in nearby vehicles, a fast and energy-efficient asynchronous neighbor discovery protocol is indispensable because a dashboard camera is an energy-hungry device after the vehicle s engine has turned off. In the existing asynchronous neighbor discovery protocols, all nodes always try to discover all neighbors. However, a dashboard camera needs to discover nearby dashboard cameras when an event is detected. In this paper, we propose a fast and energy-efficient asynchronous neighbor discovery protocol, which enables nodes : 1) to have different roles in neighbor discovery, 2) to discover neighbors within a search range, and 3) to report promptly the exact discovery result. The proposed protocol has two modes: periodic wake-up mode and active discovery mode. A node begins with the periodic wake-up mode to be discovered by other nodes, switches to the active discovery mode on receiving a neighbor discovery request, and returns to the periodic wake-up mode when the active discovery mode finishes. In the periodic wake-up mode, a node wakes up at multiples of number α, where α is determined by the node’s remaining battery power. In the active discovery mode, a node wakes up for consecutive γ slots. Then, the node operating in the active discovery mode can discover all neighbors waking up at multiples of β for β ≤ γ within γ time slots. Since the proposed protocol assigns one half of the duty cycle to each mode, it consumes equal to or less energy than the existing protocols. A performance comparison shows that the proposed protocol outperforms the existing protocols in terms of discovery latency and energy consumption, where the frequency of neighbor discovery requests by car accidents is not constantly high.

        벨리댄스 참여자의 인구통계학적 특성과 몰입정도 및신체적 자아개념의 관계

        The study identified the relationship between sport flow and pyhsical self-concept to belly dancing on th ewomen demographic characteristic of physical activityFirst, concerning the level of participants`` flow to belly danicng according to age, the younger they were ,the higher the level of flow(cognitive flow and behavioral flow), and participants in their twenties showed thehighest level. Regarding the level of flow according to occupaiot n, the professional occupation group displayeda higher level in terms of cognitive flow and behavior afllow compared with other occupation groups . As a result of analyzing the difference in the level of flow according to marital status, the level of flow of singlewomen(cognitive flow and behavioral flow) was proven as being ihgher than that of married women. Therewas a statistically significant difference according to age and occupation, whereas there was no significant differencein the level of flow according to marital status. Second, in terms of the appearance factor, which is a sub-factor of physical self-concept, respondents intheir thirties demonstrated a higher level, whereas respondents in their twenties displayed a higher level for thehealth factor, somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor.A lso, the professional occupation group showeda higher level for the appearance factor, health factor, somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor than otheroccupation groups. In addition, single women exhibited a higher level for the appearance factor, health factor,somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor, all of which are sub-facotrs of physical self-concept. As tophysical self-concept according to demographic characteristics (age, occupation, and marital status), therewas statistically significant difference.

        한국어 소설에서 유정명사용 조사 기반의 인물 추출 기법

        Novels includes various character names, depending on the genre and the spatio-temporal background of the novels and the nationality of characters. Besides, characters and their names in a novel are created by the author’s pen and imagination. As a result, any proper noun dictionary cannot include all kind of character names which have been created or will be created by authors. In addition, since Korean does not have capitalization feature, character names in Korean are harder to detect than those in English. Fortunately, however, Korean has postpositions, such as “-ege” and “hante”, used by a sentient being or an animate object (noun). We call such postpositions as animate postpositions in this paper. In a previous study, the authors manually selected character names by referencing both Wikipedia and well-known people dictionaries after utilizing Korean morpheme analyzer, a proper noun dictionary, postpositions (e.g., “-ga”, “-eun”, “-neun”, “-eui”, and “-ege”), and titles (e.g., “buin”), in order to extract social networks from three novels translated into or written in Korean. But, the precision, recall, and F-measure rates of character identification are not presented in the study. In this paper, we evaluate the quantitative contribution of animate postpositions to character identification from novels, in terms of precision, recall, and F-measure. The results show that utilizing animate postpositions is a valuable and powerful tool in character identification without a proper noun dictionary from novels translated into or written in Korean.

        소셜 TV의 사용 편의성 증대를 위한 사용자 인터페이스와 컨트롤러 앱의 설계 및 구현

        The TV was introduced in 1936 at first. For about 80 years after that, there have been come changes in it, for instance, from the black-and-white to color TV and also the analogue to digital TV. Also, as digital TVs began to be used widely, contents providers started to provide more various contents competitively through data broadcasting or customized broadcasting. Recently, these TVs are called as smart TVs with which users can search for the contents they want or download them from the internet directly to watch and also can download and install the application program they want. However, as more various functions are added to a TV, the UI (User Interface) of the TV is getting more complex. The social TV is one of the representative application programs of the smart TV. However, the SNS (Social Network Service), one of the functions of the social TV, is developed by focusing on usability on the PC or smart phone, so this may cause inconvenience when used on the smart TV. Therefore, this article aims to prepare a scenario about the user patterns of the social TV and analyze the problems such as shading and inefficient inputting which are raised when the social TV is used on the smart TV. Also, to solve the problems drawn, this paper designs and realizes the controller app which is operated in the UI of the social TV and the smart phone. And in order to examine the improvement of the UI in the social TV realized and the user convenience of the controller app, this study analyzes comparatively the UI, input procedures, and frame complexity of the social TV provided by Samsung smart TV, one of the commercialized products. As a result, the entering procedures and display complexity were significantly reduced in the log-in and log-out processes of social TV. TV가 1936년에 처음 등장한 이래로 약 80년이라는 시간동안, 흑백 TV에서 컬러 TV로, 아날로그 TV에서 디지털 TV로의 변화가 있었다. 또한, 디지털 TV가 널리 사용되기 시작함에 따라, 콘텐츠 제공자들은 데이터 방송, 맞춤형 방송 등을 통하여 보다 다양한 콘텐츠들을 경쟁적으로 제공하기 시작하였다. 최근에는 이러한 TV를 스마트 TV라하며 사용자는 원하는 콘텐츠를 직접 검색하고 인터넷으로 다운로드하여 시청할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 원하는 응용프로그램도 다운로드하고 설치할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 TV에 다양한 기능이 추가될수록 TV의 UI(User Interface)는 점점 복잡해지고 있다. 소셜 TV는 스마트 TV의 대표적인 응용프로그램이다. 그러나 소셜 TV의 기능에 포함된 SNS(Social Network Service)는 PC나 스마트 폰에서의 사용을 중점으로 개발되었기 때문에 스마트 TV에서 사용할 때 불편함을 발생시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소셜 TV의 사용 패턴을 시나리오로 작성하고, 스마트 TV에서 소셜 TV를 사용 할 때 발생하는 화면 가림과 비효율적인 입력 절차 등의 문제점을 분석한다. 또한, 도출된 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 소셜 TV의 UI와 스마트 폰에서 동작하는 컨트롤러 앱을 설계하고 구현한다. 그리고 구현한 소셜 TV의 UI와 컨트롤러 앱의 사용 편의성 향상을 확인하기 위하여 상용 제품인 삼성 스마트 TV가 제공하고 있는 소셜 TV의 UI와 입력 절차 및 화면 복잡도를 비교 분석한다. 결과적으로, 소셜 TV의 로그인 및 로그아웃 과정에서 입력 절차와 화면의 복잡도를 현저히 개선 수 있었다.

        An Approach for Applying Network-based Moving Target Defense into Internet of Things Networks

        In this paper, we propose an approach to apply network-based moving target defense into Internet of Things (IoT) networks. The IoT is a technology that provides the high interconnectivity of things like electronic devices. However, cyber security risks are expected to increase as the interconnectivity of such devices increases. One recent study demonstrated a man-in-the-middle attack in the statically configured IoT network. In recent years, a new approach to cyber security, called the moving target defense, has emerged as a potential solution to the challenge of static systems. The approach continuously changes system’s attack surface to prevent attacks. After analyzing IPv4 / IPv6-based moving target defense schemes and IoT network-related technologies, we present our approach in terms of addressing systems, address mutation techniques, communication models, network configuration, and node mobility. In addition, we summarize the direction of future research in relation to the proposed approach.
