강원도 홍천에서 임상에 따른 양서,파충류 군집의 특성 차이

본 연구는 임상에 따른 양서 파충류의 특성을 파악하기 위해 2013년 7월부터 9월까지 강원도 홍천군 일대의 국유림에서 실시하였다. 침엽수림과 활엽수림 지역 각각 2조사구, 총 4개조사구 내에서 월별로 총 12번의 선형횡단조사를 통해 양서류는 4종 52개체, 파충류는 3종 11개체가 확인되었다. 임상에 따른 산림환경구조 조사 결과, 관목층(1∼2m), 아교목층(2∼8m), 수관층(20∼30m)의 엽층별 피도량은 침엽수림이 활엽수림에 비해 더 크게 나타났으나, 양서 파충류의 평균 종수와 개체수, 종다 양도지수는 임상별, 시기별로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이는 양서 파충류의 군집 특성이 산림의 수직적인 구조 뿐 만 아니라 기후적 요인, 체온조절의 용이성, 먹이 가용성 등의 요인과 복합적으로 연관되어 있기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 임상에 따른 서식환경과 양서 파충류 군집의 계절적 생태 특징을 알아보기 위해서는 보다 다양한 요인들을 고려한 장기적인 모니터링이 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. Differences in characteristics of herpetofauna communities by forest types were examined in coniferous plantation and deciduous forest from July to September 2013 in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, Korea. We used 12 times of line transect sampling method on total of 4 transect lines, 2 lines in each forest type. Totally, we recorded 52 individuals from 4 species for amphibian and 11 individuals from 3 species for reptiles. Coverage of understory, mid-story and overstory were more developed in deciduous forest. However, the mean number of herpetofauna species, individuals and species diversity index (H`) were not significantly different between forest types and seasons. This result showed that the characteristics of herpetofauna communities would be influenced on not only forest structures but also climatic variables, thermoregulation and prey availability. The long-term monitoring considered more variables would be needed to clarify the relationship between seasonal characteristics of herpetofauna communities and forest types.

Coverage of understory, mid-story and overstory were more developed in a deciduous forest. We used line transect sampling method on a total of 4 transect lines, 2 lines in each foresttype. Fifty two individuals of 4 amphibian species and 11 individuals of 3 reptile species were recorded. Mean observed number of herpetofauna species, individuals and species diversity index (H`) were not significantly different between coniferous plantation and deciduous forest. This result related to ecological characteristics ofherpetofauna. Habitats of herpetofauna were influenced on not only vertical structure of forests, but also climaticvariables, thermoregulation and prey availability. The long-term monitoring and research on habitat preference and seasonal ecological traits of herpetofauna would be needed for conservation and management of herpetofauna inforest areas.

This study was conducted to clarify the differences in habitat structure and amphibian and reptile (herpetofauna) populations between before and after thinning in the coniferous and deciduous forests from June to September 2014 and 2015 at the Mt. Maewha of Hongcheon, Gangwon province, Korea. Forest structure was dramatically changed after thinning. Coverage of understory and mid-story were decreased while volume and number of downed trees were increased after thinning. We used line transect sampling method on a total of 4 transect lines, 2 lines in each forest type. 119 individuals of 5 amphibian species and 5 individuals of 3 reptile species were recorded. Mean number of amphibian species were decreased after thinning in the coniferous forest. There was no observed reptiles after thinning in the coniferous and deciduous forests. Detailed monitoring with different area, frequency and intensity might be needed to clarify more precise differences characterisitics of herpetofauna by thinning.

Changes in content of muscle lactate recovering from single bouts of exhaustive exercise were studied in rat. Performing maximal exercise by means of a forced running in a motor drive treadmill at a speed 40m/min for 30 minutes, the muscle samples were obtained at rest and different time intervals in the recovery periods. The lactate content in muscle tissue were measured by Barker and Summersons method. Control value (mean±S.E.) for muscle lactate was 15.11±0.87㎎%. At immediately after, 6hr., 12hr., and 24hr. after exercise the lactate content were 51.12±2.83㎎%, 45.46±4.67㎎, 15.55±0.26㎎% and 6.98±0.28㎎ respectively.
통각유발물질로 인한 Group Ia Muscular Afferents의 Impulse 발사

In anaesthetized cats the effects of chemically activated muscle spindle upon group Ia muscular afferents were studied. The afferent activity was extracellularly recorded from small filaments of dorsal roots. 1) KCI and bradykinin activated muscle spindle and increased the imulse discharges through group Ia muscular afferents. 2) Muscle spindle of gastrocnemius soleus could be diveded into three groups, which responded only to KCI, only to bradykinin and to both of them. 3) The impulse discharges of group Ia muscle afferents induced by KCI and bradykinin was similar to the impulse discharge of group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ nerve fiber by KCI and bradykinin. 4) It was suggested that muscle spindle is a polymodal receptor due to the fact of responding to not only mechanical stimuli but also chemical substances.
