Protein Chip-based GLP-1 Receptor Assay System

We investigated GLP-1 Receptor (GLP-1R) assay system on the basis of receptor-ligand interactionusing ProteoChip. GLP-1R was immobilized onthe surface of the ProteoChip and then GLP-1 peptidelabeled with a Cy5-fluorescent dye was interacted withthe GLP-1R array on the chip in a dose-dependentmanner. Exendin-4 was tested for targeting GLP-1Rto demonstrate the chip-based GLP-1R assay system. Chemical compound 6 and 45 were screened as novelagonists of GLP-1R using the GLP-1R assay system. The compound significantly inhibited GLP-1 bindingto GLP-1R in a dose-dependent manner. The proteinchip-based GLP-1R assay system will serve as a usefultool for screening of novel GLP-1R agonists.

A wearable electrodiagram(ECG) monitoring system is a widely used non-invasive diagnostic tool for ambulatory patients who may be at risk from latent life-threatening cardiac abnormalities. In this paper. we have a portable ECG monitoring system with conductive fiber characterized by the small-size and the low power consumption. The system consists of conductive fibers, one-chip microcontroller, ECG preprocessing circuit, and monitoring software to record and analyze in PC. ECG preprocessing circuit is made of pre-amplifier with gain of 10, band-pass filter with bandwidth of 0.5-120% and 2.5V offset circuit for A/D conversion. ECG signals obtained by sensor are corrupted by noises such as a baseline wandering, 60Hz power noise and interference noise by body movement. For cancellation of noises in signals obtained by conductive fiber, we used the wavelet decomposition of wavelet transforms in MATLAB toolbox.

This work presents a signal processing device for relative humidity sensor which is made with a CNT(carbon nanotube) thin films. Using this CNT humidity sensor, we also have successfully developed a small, sensitive signal processing device for relative humidity detector, that is a module for accurate air quality monitoring systems in building HVAC(heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) system and automotive applications. This paper shows the sensor signal conditioning and processing device for humidity sensor application by developing a hardware of the circuit for CNT humidity sensor, and a software for its control and sensor signal processing. The experimental results show that this technique is effective in utilizing the performance of the humidity sensor signal processing device.
산부식가공의치(酸腐植架工義齒)의 금속피착면(金屬被着面)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the tensile bond strengths of treated alloy surfaces for resin bonded retainers. For the experiment metal surfaces of 5 alloys were teated with sandblasting, Silicoating Rocatec, and cemented with Visio-Gem. All specimens divided into two groups. The group I specimens were treated with 24-hour immersion in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water, and group II specimens were teated with 1500 thermo-cycles from $5^{\circ}C\;to\;55^{\circ}C$. The obtained results were as follows: 1. Bond strength values showed significantly different between sandblasting group and other groups after a 24-hour immersion in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water(P<0.05). 2. All samples were fractured during thermo-cycles for sandblasting group, and bond strength values for Silicoating and Rocatec groups showed significantly different after 1500 thermo-cycles from $5^{\circ}C\;to\;55^{\circ}C$.
단일칩 마이크로컨트롤러를 이용한 차압식 유량제어기의 개발

In this paper, a Exhaust Flow Controller (EFC) technology for uniform application of film coater and developer device is introduced that spread and remove photo resister at semiconductor manufacturing process. Because developed EFC device uses differential pressure sensing method as a differential flow meter and embodied smart A/D conversion by using a one chip microprocessor and devised by feedback Servo control, it has shown excellent performance and stability evaluation, as maximum 2000L/min flow, capability of installation to actual semiconductor equipment.
