내부폭기형 동심원통 이중기포관내에서의 액체의 유통특성을 물-공기계에 관하여 실험적으로 연구하였다. 액체 혼합의 정도는 폭기관에서는 연속 혼합조 흐름(turks-in-series flow)그리고 순환관에서는 플라그 흐름(plug flow)으로 표시되는 유동모형에 의하여 적합하게 표현될 수 있었다. 폭기관의 단위 탱크의 높이에 해당하는 단위혼합높이(Height of Mixing Unit)를 정의하고 유입액체와 기체에 따른 이의 관계식을 제시하였다. The flow pattern of liquid was experimentally studied in a gas-lift column where water and air were continuously introduced into the inner column of two coaxial cylinders. The flow of liquid in the inner aeration column was well represented by the tanks-in-series model while that in the recycle column was more close to plug flow. The height of mixing unit (HMU) was defined as hight of unit tank in the aeration column and was correlated to the gas and liquid velocities.

해조류를 이용한 항생재 대체 사료 첨가제 개발

우리나라의 항생제 남용 문제는 세계적으로 심각 하다고 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 정부는 다양한 정책을 도입하고 있으며 특히 축산물의 항생제 남용 문제를 해결하기위해 사료 관리법을 강화하여 항생제 사용을 억제하고 있어 항생제를 대체 할 물질이 필요하다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해서 우리나라의 다양한 해조류를 이용한 항생제 개발을 통해서 항생제 남용 문제를 해결하고 소비자들에게 믿을 수 있는 축산물을 제공 할 것으로 보인다. To use the seaweeds and transfer the antibiotic. It is a possibility of a high income. This is new bio industry. This the goods production which is competitive power is possible. It is a possibility of eating the livestock where also the consumers are good.

자발성 뇌 피각내 혈종의 뇌정위적 흡인술에 대한 결과분석

Putamen is regarded as the most common site of spontaneous intracerebral hematoma. Authers peresent the result of retrospective study of stereotactic aspiration of spontaneous putaminal hematoma. The result of treatment and the assessment of the prgnostic factors are as follows ; To lower the frequency of rebleeding and mortality. 1) To delay interval from attack to asipration for at least 12 hours and 2) To limit of hematoma aspiration rate below 50% is desirable.

Large 원통형 섬광플라스틱을 이용한 컴프턴 억제 NaI(Tl)검출기의 특성

A Compton-suppression NaI(Tl) detector has been designed and its performance has been tested using 60 Co and 207 Bi standard sources. We have made a large polystyrene scintillator of 18 cm° 20 cm length from styrene, PPO and POPOP. The NaI(Tl) detector, 4 4 5 cm 3, is surrounded by a cylindrical plastic scintillator and a lead shielding block. Two plastic scintillator signals and a NaI(Tl) detector signal are digitized by using a 12-bit CAMAC analog - to digital convertor (ADC). The Compton-suppression factor ranges from 1.6 at the Compton-edge to 4 for the back- scattered peak. The plastic scintillator turns out to have a very good performance for the Compton suppression in the region of Compton continuum and of backscattering from the surrounding shield materials.

원통형 섬광 플라스틱 검출기 제작 및 특성 연구

A concentration ratio of 100 : 1 : 0.05 for uors PPO and POPOP in a 100 g styrene solution was found to be optimum for highest ligh yield from the scintillator. The cast plastic scintillators proved to have good lighr-yield reproducibility. The light decay time and the attenuation length of a large cylindrical cast scintillator with a radius of 10 cm and a height of 25 cm were measured to be 7.14 0.12 ns and 5.87 0.01 cm (for the short range), and 52.65 0.04 cm (for the long range), respectively. 폴리스티렌 플라스틱 섬광체에 들어가는 PPO와 POPOP의 질량비를 달리하여 짧은 거리에서 섬광효율이 가장 좋은 혼합비율이 스티렌의 양을 100 g으로 하였을때 100 : 1 : 0.05임을 알았다. 같은 비율로 여러개를 제작하여 좋은 제작 재현성을 보였고, 크기가 10 cm$\phi\ \times$ 25 cm의 대형 원통형 섬광 플라스틱을 제작하여 특성을 조사연구 하였다. 섬광 플라스틱에서 만들어 지는 신호의 감쇠시간은 7.14 $\pm$ 0.12 ns으로 나타났고, 길이에 따라 섬광이 얼마나 감쇠되는지를 나타내는 감쇠 길이를 짧은 것과 긴 것의 두 성분으로 나누어 각각 5.87 $\pm$ 0.01 cm와 52.65 $\pm$ 0.04 cm를 얻었다.

Measurement of Gas Bremsstrahlung at the Pohang Light Source by Using a CeF3 Scintillator

We have measured the gas bremsstrahlung photon energy from the 2.5-GeV electron storage ring at the Pohang Light Source (PLS). Gas bremsstrahlung was generated in the straight section of the beam-diagnosis beamline 1C1 with an effective length of 5.3 m. We present the measurement results for the bremsstrahlung photon energy spectrum and the photon flux, which were obtained by using a CeF3 calorimeter. The calorimeter consisted of nine CeF3 blocks, each being 3.3 × 3.3 × 33cm3, stacked into a 3 × 3 array. The bremsstrahlung photon flux above 40 MeV was measured to be 218 s.1 at an electron beam current of 180 mA.

풍력과 지진하중을 고려한 압력용기의 피로해석

Fatigue life prediction of pressure vessel is studied analytically using cumulative damage models and linear elastic fracture mechanics method. The stresses are analyzed by finite element method. During operation, the maximum stress occurs at the outside of neck region while fatigue analysis indicates that the bottom of nozzle part has the shortest fatigue life. Previously proposed fatigue life prediction equation and cumulative damage model are modified successfully by introducing reference fatigue modulus. It is found that the modified life prediction equation and damage model are useful for lower stress level application.

다발성 뇌경색을 동반한 Streptococcus agalactiae에 의한 감염심내막염 2예

최근 기저질환을 가진 나이 많은 성인에서의 침습성 S.agalactiae 감염증의 보고가 늘어나고 있다. S. agalactiae감염심내막염은 비교적 드물지만 중증의 감염증으로 전신적 색전증과 광범위한 판막파괴로 인한 심부전이 잘 동반되므로 판막치환수술이 필요한 경우가 많다. 저자들은 기저질환으로 당뇨병과 알코올 중독이 있는 환자에서 발생한 S. agalactiae 감염심내막염 2예를 경험하였기에 드문 증례로 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The higher incidence of Streptococcus agalactiae infection in the newborns and pregnant women had been well recognized. The incidence of invasive S. agalactiae infection was recently increasing in both elderly adults and those with comorbid conditions such as diabetes mellitus, liver cirrhosis, malignancy, and abnormalities in immune responses. We report our experience with two diabetic middle-aged men who suffered from S.agalactiae infective endocarditis. Case 1) A 58-year-old man with diabetes mellitus and chronic alcoholism presented with fever and both lower legs weakness. An echocardiography showed two vegetations on the mitral valve. S. agalactiae was identified from blood cultures. He was treated with penicillin G and gentamicin, and he underwent mitral valve replacement surgery because of persistent fever and newly developed brain infarcts. One month later, an amputation of the left lower leg was performed for the embolic gangrene of left lower leg. Case 2) A 57-year-old diabetic man was admitted to our hospital because of fever and left shoulder pain. He had received the incision and drainage to treat left shoulder joint septic arthritis, but he had a continuous fever. On 5th day of admission, culture of pus from the left shoulder joint revealed S. agalactiae. An echocardiography showed a vegetation on the posterior mitral leaflet. He was treated with penicillin G and gentamicin. On 18th day of admission, a mitral valve replacement surgery was performed. He was discharged without recurrence.

나는 대답을 가진 사람들을 좋아하지 않는다. 대답을 가진 사람들과는 대화가 되지를 않기 때문이다. 대화나 토론에 대한 훈련을 받아 본 적이 없는 한국의 지적 풍토와 가르치기 좋아하는 영적인 풍토에서는 나눔이 아니라 누가 더 우위에 있는 '영지'의 소유자인지의 내세움만이 있는 까닭이다. 기독교인들은 대답을 가진 사람들이다. 계시의 하나님을 믿고, 정확무오하며 틀릴 수 없는 대답을 가진 성경을 가지고 있으며 설교나 성경공부를 통해서 늘 정확한 대답을 배우는 까닭이다. 그래서 기독교인들과는 대화가 되지를 않는다. 우리 교인들은 단지 내 설교를, 내 대답을 들을 뿐이다. 가끔 의심을 말하기도 하지만 착한 우리 교인들은 늘 믿음이 없는 자신들을 탓하곤 한다. 그러나 다른 목자를 따르는 사람들은 내게 다르게 행한다. 그들은 목사에게 정확한 예의를 갖추기는 하지만 은근히, 때로는 제법 노골적으로 무경우하게, 자신의 목자와 나를 비교하고 자신의 목자의 '복음'으로 나를 언도하려고 애를 쓴다. - 내 울안에 있지 않은 양이 아니려니... 거의 늑대수준이다.!- 내편과 네편으로 나누기를 워낙 좋아하는 심성인지라 굴복하면 내편이요 아니면 적으로 상정될 때가 많아서 무섭기조차 하다.
