        일제시기 李康勳의 민족운동과 六三亭의거

        이강훈은 1903년 강원도 김화 출생으로 김화의 한 부유한 가정에서 태어나 어렸을 적에는 전통교육을 받았으며, 그가 15세 되던 해인 1917년에는 철원군 공립보통학교에 입학하여 정규과정을 이수하기도 하였다. 그러나 1919년 3ㆍ1운동 당시 전국각지에서 일어난 민중들의 저항을 목격하고 이에 자극받아 이듬해인 1920년 만주로 이주하였다. 만주로 이주한 이강훈은 잠시 상해 임정에 머무르기도 하였으나, 당시 임정의 파벌싸움에 실망하고 결국 다시 만주로 이동하여 김좌진 등과 함께 신민부에서 각종 교육활동을 통한 후진양성에 힘쓰기도 하였다. 그러나 신민부의 해체 이후 그간 자신이 추구했던 교육을 통한 자주독립국가 건설이 힘들어지게 되자, 백정기, 원심창 등 무정부주의자들과 연계하였다. 1933년 당시 남화한인청년연맹에서 활동하던 이강훈은 주중 공사 유길명을 암살하고자 계획하던 중 일경에 발각되어 체포되었고, 1933년 11월 일본장기재판소에서 징역 15년을 언도받고 옥고를 치르게 된다. 그러나 수형생활 중 감형을 받아 1942년 7월에 그 형이 종료되었는데, 일제는 그가 민족의식이 극히 농후하여 재범의 우려가 있다는 혐의로 결국 그는 예방구금에 처해져 19 45년 해방되기까지 약 12년간을 일본의 감옥에서 생활하게 된다. 이후 이강훈은 재일한국거류민단 부단장을 지내고 1960년 귀국하여 한국사회당 총무위원으로 활동하였다. 아울러 5ㆍ16 당시 혁신계 정당 간부로 활동하다가 투옥되는 등 일평생을 오로지 조국의 독립과 민족을 위해 헌신한 인물이다. Lee Kang-hun was born in a rich family in Gimhwa, Gangwon Province in 1903 and received traditional education as a child. In 1917 when he turned 15, he entered a public primary school in Chelwon-gun and completed the regular curriculum. Witnessing the resistance of people around the nation during March 1 Movement of 1919, he moved to Manchuria in 1920. He stayed at the provisional government in Shanghai and moved back to Manchuria after getting disappointed with the faction disputes at the provisional government. In Manchuria, he was devoted to bringing up the younger generation through all sorts of educational activities at Shinminbu(신민부) along with Kim Jwa-jin and others. After the dissolution of Shinminbu, he found that the building of an autonomous and independent nation would be difficult through the education he had pursued and then joined hands with anarchists such as Baek Jeong-gi and Won Shim-chang. In 1933, he was arrested by the Japanese police in the middle of planning the assassination of Yu Gil-myeong, the diplomatic minister in China, as a member of Namhwa Alliance of Korean Youths(남화한인청년연맹). In November, 1933, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison at the Nagasaki Court, Japan and put in jail. His sentence was reduced while he was in jail and eventually ended in July, 1942. Claiming that he was a possible candidate for repeated crimes for his strong national consciousness, the Japanese Empire put him in preventive detention. He had to serve in a Japanese prison for about 12 years until Liberation in 1945. After serving the Organization of Koreans Staying in Japan as Vice President, he returned to Korea in 1960 and held office as a member of the general affairs committee at Korean Socialist Party. After the outbreak of May 16 Military Coup, he was imprisoned for his activities as a party executive with a reform tendency. He devoted his entire life to the independence of the country and the Korean people.

        Preparation of CdS-AC/TiO_2 Composites Designed for a High Photonic Effect and their Photocatalytic Activity Under Visible Light

        In this study, CdS combined activated carbon/TiO_2 (CdS-AC/TiO_2) composites were prepared by a sol-gel method to improve the photocatalytic performance of TiO_2. These composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX) and UV-vis analysis. The photocatalytic activities were examined by the degradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. The photodegradation rate of MB under visible light irradiation reached 90.1% in 120 min. The kinetics of MB degradation was plotted alongside the values calculated from the Langmuir-Hinshelwood equation. The 0.2 CAT sample showed the best photocatalytic activity, which might be due to an increase in the photo-absorption effect by activated carbon and the cooperative effect of CdS.

        Unlike the general lighting systems, stage lighting system requires accurate dimming control and reduction of flicker phenomenon. In this paper, we studied PWM dimming control and linear voltage level control methods. PWM Dimming is easy control and flicker phenomenon of linear voltage level dimming does not happen by experiment result. We concluded that stage lighting dimming system required to combine two techniques of the PWM and linear voltage level dimming control method.

        Ten years of experience in the prevention of mother-to-child human immunodeficiency virus transmission in a university teaching hospital

        Purpose: Administration of antiretroviral drugs to mothers and infants significantly decreases motherto-child human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) transmission; cesarean sections and discouragingbreastfeeding further decreases this risk. The present study confirmed the HIV status of babies born tomothers infected with HIV and describes the characteristics of babies and mothers who received preventivetreatment. Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed medical records of nine infants and their mothers positivefor HIV who gave birth at Korea University Ansan Hospital, between June 1, 2003, and May 31, 2013. Maternal parameters, including HIV diagnosis date, CD4+ count, and HIV ribonucleic acid (RNA) copynumber, were analyzed. Infant growth and development, HIV RNA copy number, and HIV antigen/antibodytest results were analyzed. Results: Eight HIV-positive mothers delivered nine babies; all the infants received antiretroviral therapy. Three (37.5%) and five mothers (62.5%) were administered single- and multidrug therapy, respectively. Intravenous zidovudine was administered to four infants (50%) at birth. Breastfeeding was discouragedfor all the infants. All the infants were negative for HIV, although two were lost to follow-up. Third trimestermaternal viral copy numbers were less than 1,000 copies/mL with a median CD4+ count of 325/μL (92–729/μL). Among the nine infants, two were preterm (22.2%) and three had low birth weights (33.3%). Conclusion: This study concludes that prophylactic antiretroviral therapy, scheduled cesarean section,and prohibition of breastfeeding considerably decrease mother-to-child HIV transmission. Because thenumber of infants infected via mother-to-child transmission may be increasing, studies in additionalregions using more variables are necessary.

        선택적 α2 아드레날린성 수용체 작용제인 Brimonidine 의 진통 및 항이질통에 대한 효과

        Background: Clonidine, an ?2 adrenoceptor agonist, has been known to have antinociceptive and antiallodynic effects. The antinociceptive and antiallodynic effects of brimonidine, a new selective ?2 agonist, have not been evaluated yet in rats. Behavioral tests were performed to investigate the effects of systemically and spinally administered brimonidine on nociception and mechanical allodynia and the effect of spinal nerve ligation (SNL) on antinociception. Methods: Rats were prepared with tight ligation of spinal nerves and/or a lumbar intrathecal catheter implantation. Using a hot plate (HP) test or von Frey hair (VFH) test, the effect of intraperitoneal (I.P.) and intrathecal (I.T.) brimonidine in normal and SNL rats were examined. I.P. brimonidine (100-1,000?) and I.T. brimonidine (0.1-3.0?) were given to examine the antinociceptive effect on an HP test. After a SNL, a HP test was conducted at the same doses of brimonidine to compare with the preoperative state. I.T. brimonidine (0.03-3.0?) and saline (control) were administered to examine the antiallodynic effect in SNL rats. In addition, an antagonistic study with yohimbine 1.0 mg/kg I.P. was performed to investigate the reversal of the antiallodynic effect of brimonidine. Allodynic thresholds for lesioned hindpaw withdrawl to a VFH test were assessed and converted to %MPE. Results: I.P. brimonidine produced an antinociceptive effect, and I.T. brimonidine also produced a significant antinociceptive effect (P < 0.05). After an SNL, I.T. brimonidine produced a dose-dependent antinocicpetive effect. In addition, I.T. brimonidine produced a dose-dependent antiallodynic effect which is antagonized by yohimbine (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The results suggest that brimonidine has a more potent antiallodynic effect when given intrathecally. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2001; 40: 397~405)

        의료기술평가 기반으로서의 데이터 연계

        With the recent change of healthcare environment including rapid technological development, evidences are more and more important and necessary to support relevant policies in health technology assessment to provide safe and effective health services, utilizing medical resources efficiently. Despite of the emphasis on the importance of real world data and real world evidence in health care research, current infrastructure supporting clinical research is considerably weak due to absence of legal and institutional basis. However, in accordance with the Article 26 of the Health and Medical Technology Promotion Act, there is a limited legal apparatus that can be used only in public data with other dataset for the purpose of healthcare technology assessment at the National Evidencebased Collaborating Agency. Although the use of linked data from various sources was often required in the field of clinical research, it was not yet working well due to insufficient environmental conditions. In order to support the decision-making of medical practice and health care policies, data-linking platform for clinical research is needed. If the legal system that can link up to the data of the private institutions without violating the significant value such as the protection of private informations is established, it will be a decisive foundation reinforcing the researches and policy making processes for the improvement of the national health care system.

      • HID 램프 수명 연장을 위한 적응형 점화기 개발

        The metal halide lamps are now widely used in the application and commercial lighting due to their attracting properties such as good color rendering and high efficiency. But, they have the serious problem of acoustic resonance for high frequency operation and they need the high voltage to ignite. So, they have not been applied to indoors. Over the past few years, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on the electronic ballast together with hot restarting and resonance phenomenon. But, very few attempts have been made with the adaptive ignition method according to the lamp state. In this paper, electronic ballast is proposed for metal halide lamps with an igniter for adaptive ignition. The proposed electronic ballast can generate different ignition voltages according to the arc tube state.

      • STFT를 이용한 회전체의 진동신호 분석 기법

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the vibration signal of the revolution machine using the STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform). It is common to analyze the frequency of signal through FFT algorithm with the fixed sampling rate. However, in this situation the order spectrum information useful rather than the general frequency information with the fixed sampling rate. In this paper, the resampling technique was used for getting the information of order spectrum. In resampling process, the arithmetic amount and MSE(Mean Square Error) for various kinds of the signal interpolation was compared and presented the propriety of the interpolation method while developing analysis equipment. Order tracking was implemented using signal interpolation method which it has selected. Then the analyzed results were obtained through simulation using the STFT technique.
