        The development of information technology has been expected to change the living style and upgrade the living environment. These expectations are somewhat realized, but there are certain groups that will be less benefitted by these upgrades compared to other groups. These phenomena are called digital divide, which is the latest issue around the world these days. There are several factors that raise digital divide such as gender, education, job, age, income and region. in Korea, the most critical factor may be considered as region but so far this has only been assumed and there has been no empirical surveys about this. This study is proposed to survey the remote rural areas to find out the actual situations of digital divide compared to the urban areas in Korea. And the results will be used as a basic data to make strategies and policies in order to improve the rural living environments.

        CDMA시스템에서 전체 자원요구량에 근거한 새로운 우선권기반의 호 수락제어 알고리즘

        CDMA시스템에서 서로 다른 종류의 호에 서로 다른 우선권을 할당하는 호 수락제어(CAC: Call Admission Control)기법은 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 전체 자원요구량에 근거하여 같은 종류의 호에도 서로 다른 우선권을 할당하는 호 수락제어기법을 제안하고 그 성능을 분석한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 한 기지국에서의 자원요구량이 아닌 전체 시스템에서의 자원요구량에 근거하여 같은 종류의 호에 서로 다른 우선권을 할당한다. 새로운 호의 호 신청수락여부를 결정할 때 시스템에 충분한 여유용량이 있으면 모든 호를 수락하지만 모든 호들을 받아들일 수 없으면 우선권이 높은 호부터 받아들인다. 분석결과는 제안된 알고리즘이 같은 종류의 호에 서로 다른 우선권을 할당하지 않는 알고리즘보다 호 차단확률과 통화품질 저하확률 및 전송부하에서 모두 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 보여준다. CAC (Call Admission Control) schemes for different service class are studied in many Papers. A novel priority CAC algorithm, which gives priority to a same class call according to the total resource requirements is proposed and analyzed in this paper. The proposed algorithm provides a priority according to the total resource requirements other than only in a base station. If there are efficient residual resources in the system, it will accept all new calls. Otherwise, it will selectively accept these new calls according to the total resource requirements. The results show that the proposed algorithm provides better call blocking probability, outage probability and throughput than the conventional algorithm.

        QFD 기반의 SI업체 품질경영 평가모형

        In recent years, forces from factors such as globalization of market, continuous change in IT environments, rapid technological improvement, and shortening product life-cycle require the structural change of management strategies in almost every business sector. Though main stream of activities for quality management has been applied to the areas of product or service oriented business, the enhancement of TQM capability is also very important to gain the competitive advantage of SI company globally. This paper suggests an assessment model for TQM of SI company and proposes a template for improvement guidelines based on the evaluation of company's capability for TQM. For that purpose, firstly, new evaluation factors for capability of quality management were developed; secondly, the different evaluation framework from that of product-oriented company, which was based on the characteristics of software and SI company, were derived; thirdly, the derived guidelines were integrated with factors from SPICE/CMM; and lastly a new assessment model was developed based on QFD. With this model, we expect more objective weights can be derived and used for assessment of TQM capability. And also the more systematic and implemental guidelines for improvements can be derived from model's critical success factors.

      • 차량용 AUTOSAR 표준 플랫폼 지원을 위한 RTE 및 Generator 개발

        AUTOSAR is a partnership of automotive manufacturers and suppliers working together to develop and establish a de-facto open industry standard for automotive software architectures. In the AUTOSAR architecture, the runtime environment is at in the heart of the AUTOSAR architecture to provides the infrastructure services that enable communication between software components and between software components and basic software components. The RTE generator is an automated generation tool for AUTOSAR specification based RTE according to the ECU configuration. It generates communication API function for the software components and the basic software components like OS and COM of the application. The availability and the accuracy of the RTE generator are important for the automobile software which is based on AUTOSAR architecture. this paper proposes an architectural design of the RTE generator for auto-generation of the AUTOSAR based RTE.

        생활 스트레스에 대한 인간의 생리적 반응과 타액 코티졸과의 관계

        The physiological and biochemical responses of healthy men and women to life stress were measured in order to temperature, blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR) and galvanic skin response (GSR) were selected as physiological stress indices and salivary cortisol level was used as a biochemical stres biomarker. Twenty six (male 14 and female 13) colege students were participated in the experiment. Female showed the significant higher value of salivary cortisol level (p<0.01), diastolic BP (p<0.01), and HR (p<0.01) than male. The difference of skin temperature between forehead and fingertip correlated significantly with salivary cortisol level (p<0.01). The LF(low frequency)/HF(high frequency) ratio of HRV also correlated significantly with salivary cortisol level (p<0.01). However, BP, HR and GSR corelated insignificantly with salivary cortisol level. We suggest that LF/HF ratio of HRV and skin temperature may be good indices for the assessment of life stress, and may apply to measure the stress level of individual in real time.

      • Gender difference in the association of metabolic syndrome with hs-CRP Concentration of Blood

        The high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) as one of the typical acute phase reactants is used for predictive factor of the cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus. In addition, there are claims that must be included as factors of metabolic syndrome. This research examined the relationship between the concentration of hs-CRP in blood and risk factors of the metabolic syndrome by gender, and the rates of metabolic syndrome depending on the hs-CRP level based on the general public who took the comprehensive medical check-up at Chonbuk National University Hospital in the Jeonbuk province. The subjects aged 17-87 years were participated, and 2,000 people were included as the final subjects except the persons with more than 10 mg/L of the hs-CRP of blood level. The hs-CRP concentrations increased according to the number of risk factors of metabolic syndrome in both men and women. In regards to the risk ratio of metabolic syndrome based on hs-CRP level in blood according to gender, the risk ratio increased by 3.07 times in male and 4.55 times in female intermediate risk group and 3.60 times in male and 6.15 times in female high risk group compared to hs-CRP low risk group. As a result, there was a proportional relation between hs-CRP level and the occurrence of metabolic syndrome, and it occurs more frequently among women than men. .

        섬진강의 어류상

        The fish fauna was investigated from 2010 and 2013 at main stream and tributaries in the Seomjin River which has no estuary dike. The collected fishes were identified into 37,751 individuals of 107 species of 81 genera belonging to 41 families. Among the collected fishes the primary freshwater fishes were 57 species (Relative Abundance: 53.3%), the secondary fishes were 10 species (RA: 9.3%) and the marine fishes were 40 species (RA: 37.4%). The dominant species was Zacco platypus (RA: 28.7%), and the subdominant species was Zacco koreanus (RA: 15.0%). The endemic species were 21 species (RA: 31.3%). The endangered fishes were Acheilognathus somjinensis (Level I), Lampetra reissneri (Level II) and Microphysogobio koreensis (Level II). The exotic species were Carassius cuvieri, Lepomis macrochirus and Micropterus salmoides. We supposed that Odontobutis interrupta in the Seomjin River is translocated species.
