이온교환수지에 의한 공업용수중의 암모늄 및 질산이온의 제거에 관한 연구

Industrial supply water is contaminated with organic and inorganic materials by itself. Recently, ammonium(NH_4^+) and nitrate(NO_3^-) from life waste water contaminate industrial supply and significantly effect on equality of products. This study was performed to remove the ammonium and nitrate in industrial supply water by using cation and anion exchange resin. The adsorptions of NH_4^+, NO_3^- follow the Freundlich isotherm. The exchange capacity of the cation exchange resin for NH_4^+ treatment is apt to decrease in proportion to increasing the temperature and pH. Anion exchange resin has a little effect on temperature and pH conditions for NO_3^- treatment. The breakthrough capacity is taken 2.29㎎/㎎-R for NH_4^+ and 15.76㎎/㎎-R for NO_3^-.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effecting factors required for design and operation of aerobic submerged biofilter packed with small gravel. Synthetic wastewater was used for the experiment. As the results, it was required 2hr or over of HRT to take SBOD removal efficiency above 90%. And when the recycle ratio was changed from 10 to 50, SBOD removal at 30 was higher than that of other recycle ratios. BOD loadings of reactor volume basis was more resonable than that of surface area of media. The effective diameter of gravel in this process is above 10mm. In the coefficients of reaction acquired through the kinetics, endougenous respiration rate coefficient(K_b) was larger than that of activated sludge process, but mass yield rate (Y) and substrate removal rate coefficient(K) were smaller.
