최근 원거리 수송 및 복잡한 유통 단계를 생략하고, 안전하고 신선한 지역 로컬푸드를 찾는 소비자들이 늘고 있다. 이에 따라, 각 지자체별로 로컬푸드 안전성 확보를 위한 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 광주광역시에서도 2016년도부터 지역 10곳 로컬푸드 직매장에서 800여 건의 로컬푸드(농산물) 잔류농약 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 174건(21.8%)에서 잔류농약이 검출되었고, 8건(1%)에서 MRLs(maximum residue limits)를 초과하여 부적합으로 적발되었다. 품목으로는 고춧잎, 시금치, 대파, 열무, 쑥갓, 부추 등 다양한 품목에서 부적합이 적발되었다. 특히 2021년 5월 ~ 7월 사이에 수거한 로컬푸드 30건에 대해서는 식중독 원인균과 중금속 검사를 실시하여 폭넓은 안전성 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 식중독 원인균 5항목(황색포도상구균, 살모넬라, 클로스트리디움, 리스테리아, 바실러스)에 대하여 모두 음성이거나 정량 기준 이하였다. 또한, 중금속 오염도 검사(납, 카드뮴)에서도 납 함량은 불검출 ~ 0.055mg/kg, 카드뮴 함량은 불검출 ~ 0.055 mg/kg 분포로 나타나 모두 기준 이내로 검출되어 광주광역시 로컬푸드는 미생물 및 중금속 오염에 비교적 안전한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 소비자는 친환경 수준으로 안전성이 높은 로컬 푸드를 원하고, 기후와 환경 오염의 변화에 따른 농산물 오염 원인이 항시 산재한다. 그렇기 때문에 잔류농약 검사의 꾸준한 확대와 더불어 식중독 원인균, 중금속 검사 등의 안전성 검사가 병행되어 종합적인 로컬푸드 안전성 관리가 필요하다고 생각된다.

This study was carried out to monitor the current status of pesticide residues in selling agricultural products via online and assessed their safety in 2014. A total of 124 samples were purchased six times from March to August 2014 twenty online shopping malls randomly. These samples were analysed 208 pesticides by multiresidue method using a GC-ECD/NPD and a LC-MS/MS and confirmed by a GC-MSD. As a result of analysis, residual pesticides samples were 11 (8.9%) such as leek, young radish, welsh onion etc, of which 2 samples (1.6%) such as sesame bud (Chlorothalonil), artemisia (Chlorpyrifos) were violated Korea Maximum Residue limits (MRLs). 11 kinds of pesticides (19 times) were detected in 11 samples. Risk assessment evaluated human health exposure with the ratio of EDI (Estimated daily intake) to ADI (Acceptable daily intake) of pesticides detected. %ADI (the ratios of EDI to ADI) were 0.04~95.70% and some samples represented a fairly dangerous levels. In particular, Chlorothalonil in the sesame bud was shown as a significant risk close to 100% of %ADI. Accordingly, it is recommended to strengthen a safety check on agricultural products in online sales.
광주광역시 농산물도매시장 판매 엽채류에 대한 잔류농약 통계적 분석

This study was conducted to statistically analyze residual pesticides in the leafy vegetables which were sold at the wholesale markets in Gwangju from 2016 to 2018. As the analysis results of pesticide residues in total 4,483 samples, residual pesticides were detected from 827 samples and the detected concentrations in 93 samples exceeded MRLs (spinach 11, radish leaves 11). Residual pesticides were very frequently detected in 101 Chinese chives. The samples of agricultural products collected to practice monitoring of pesticide residues were 1,555 (34.7%) in Gwangju and 1,060 (23.6%) in Naju and they took over the half (58.3%). The frequently detected pesticides are Azoxystrobin (192) and Dimethomorph (124), and the pesticides which exceeded MRLs are Diazinon (13) and Chlorpyrifos (12). The correlation between violation and detection was significant in 2016 and 2018. High detected samples in most of the crops didn’t have a significant correlation with climate factors except for some crops (spinach and temperature, p<0.05; radish leaves and humidity, p<0.01). In addition, the correlation between price and climate factors could be confirmed, but no significant difference in whether the price increase factor affected the increase in pesticide treatment. In this study, it had different correlations in each factor, so it was difficult to think that violation or detection of residual pesticide in agricultural products had a direct relation to the price or climate.

Fast and accurate multi-residue pesticides inspecting method needs in Agro-Fishery Products Inspection Center. So, We tried to seek the optimum method using GC-TOF/MS, GC-ECD, GC-NPD after QuEChERS sample preparation. In GC-TOF/MS, 138 kinds of pesticide were spiked at 0.3 and 0.5 μg/g for the identification and quantification in lettuce sample. Recoveries of 77 pesticides were between 70 and 130% with RSD (relative standard deviation lower than 20% at 0.3 μg/g. In GC-ECD, NPD, 146 kinds of pesticide were spiked for the identification and quantification in lettuce. Recoveries of 61 species were between 70 and 130% with lower than 20%. These results indicated that GC-TOF/MS, GC-ECD, NPD analysis with the QuEChERS sample preparation can be partly applied to multi-residue pesticides in vegetables.

Bovine tuberculosis is an important zoonosis worldwide. Mycobacterium bovis, the causative agent of this disease in cattle, is also a pathogen for humans and several economically important animals. The cases of tuberculosis are reported in two cow found at slaughter house located in Gwangju city. Histopathologically, in the lymph nodes, granulomas consisted of large areas of necrosis surrounded by variable thick bands of cellular infiltrate containing macrophages, Langhans-type multinucleated giant cells and lymphocytes. Lesions in the lung followed the same developmental pattern as did lesions in the lymph nodes with some exceptions. With the acid-fast staining, numerous mycobacteria were revealed in the lung and lymph nodes. M bovis was confirmed as a causative agent in these cattle using bacterial isolation and PCR and restriction fragment length polymorphism method based on a unique 12.7kb fragment insertion sequence from the Mycobacterium tuberculosis genome and the pncA polymorphism. The insertion element IS6110 and IS1081 were present M bovis isolated from lungs and lymph nodes of cattle using PCR assay. These cases are interesting and important in public health aspect that M bovis-infected cattle were found during a routine post-mortem inspection at slaughter house.

This study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of fascioliasis of slaughtered and farmed cattle in Gwangju area from February to November in 2007. A total of 1,000 cattle fecal samples were collected from slaughter houses (n=805) and farms (n=185). Twelve (1.2%) were found as positive cases with excretion of the egg of Fasciola spp in the fecal specimens, and 128 (12.8%) were positive in intestinal parasitism using the flotation and sedimentation procedures. The infection rate of fluke larvae from the slaughtered cattle at abattoirs in Gwangju was 0.75%(6 out of 805 heads). In histopathology, there were several liver lesions such as inflammation with infiltration of eosinophil, polymorphonuclear cells, mononuclear cells and multinucleated giant cells, proliferation of connective tissue, calcification and abscess formation.
