It is well known that the performance of an evolutionary algorithm (EA) is highly dependent on the setting of EA parameters. There have been many studies on EA parameter setting, but no single method outperformed all other methods on all classes of problems as declared by the no free lunch theorem. In order to overcome the heavy computational burden usually required for parameter tuning, we propose an EA parameter tuning procedure applicable to any set of test problems. First, we employ an optimal Latin hypercube design (OLHD) in which parameters of an EA algorithm are set as factors. Next, using parameter settings sampled by OLHD, we run EAs to solve the test problems. Then, we statistically recommend parameter settings suitable for the test problems. Statistical evaluation of this application results suggests the best recombination method, and the recommended parameter ranges of population size, selection rate, and mutation rate are reduced by 93%, 80%, and 84%, respectively, compared to those usually used in parameter ranges. Finally, the recommended parameter setting is applied to the optimization problem of a high-speed spindle motor for a hard disk drive, and shows the effectiveness of the proposed procedure for a practical design optimization application.

유압 브레이커는 굴착기의 암 끝에 장착되어 파쇄작업을 하는 부착작업기이다. 그러나 굴착기의 성능에 치명적인 영향을 미치는 유압 브레이커의 중량에 대한 연구는 아직 없었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유압 브레이커에서 대부분의 중량을 차지하고 있는 하우징에 대한 최적설계를 수행하였다. 유압 브레이커 하우징의 설계 요구사항은 정상 운전상태에서 파손없이 중량을 최소화하는 것이다. 직교배열표를 이용하여 실험점을 선정하였고, 실험점에서의 결과를 바탕으로 근사모델을 생성하여 최적 설계안을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 모든 구속조건을 만족하면서 유압 브레이커 하우징의 중량을 4.8% 감소시켰다. A hydraulic breaker is an attachment installed at the end of excavator arm and is used for breaking. As per the authors’ knowledge, there have been no research results on reducing the weight of the hydraulic breaker even though this weight reduction is very important for improving the performance of the excavator. In this study, we minimize the weight of the housing of the hydraulic breaker under normal operating conditions, while the maximum stress of the housing is lower than the allowable stress. A meta-model, which is generated by using the CAE results for the sampling design points determined by an orthogonal array, is used to solve the minimization problem. The weight of the housing according to the optimal design is found to be lower than the original weight by 4.8% while satisfying the constraint on the maximum stress.
다구치 방법과 근사최적설계를 이용한 자동차 연료탱크의 연료 넘침 방지 시스템 설계

자동차 연료탱크는 크게 본체와 본체에 조립되는 부품들로 구성되어 있다. 본체에는 차량 주행시에 연료탱크에서 발생되는 증발가스를 배출하고, 연료가 외부로 유출되는 것을 방지하기 위한 여러 밸브들이 조립되어 있다. 하지만 이러한 밸브들은 연료 넘침에 주된 원인으로 알려져 있음에도 불구하고 현재 증발가스의 배출과 기구적인 위치만 고려하여 설계되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 밸브들의 기존기능을 유지하면서 연료 넘침을 최소화 시키기 위해 근사최적설계를 적용하였고, 다구치방법을 통해 실제 실험에서 근사최적설계의 유용성을 보였다. 결과적으로 최적화된 밸브 위치를 통해 개발기간과 비용을 절감하였고, 연료 넘침 최소화를 통해 자동차의 신뢰성을 향상시켰다. Automotive fuel tank is generally divided into two parts: main frame and assembly parts. While the car is running, valves are used to prevent liquid carry over and to discharge evaporated gas from the fuel tank. However, current fuel tank designs focus on the gas ventilation or secured location. In this study, the location of the parts used to prevent liquid carry over within the fuel tank is evaluated during an optimal design process. To develop this design process, an approximate optimization is applied. Through the optimal design process, the optimal valve location in fuel tank is determined and the approximate optimization is validated by the Taguchi method. Finally, the optimized valve location is used to reduce the development cost and time and to contribute toward improved automobile quality owing to enhanced reliability.

A hydraulic breaker is one of the attachments for smashing work which installed at the end of excavator arm. There have been many studies for improving the performance of the hydraulic breaker as the use of the hydraulic breaker is increased. However, this paper focus on optimally designing to minimize the weight of a hydraulic breaker housing. Design points to generate meta-models are obtained by using an orthogonal array and an evolutionary algorithm is used for optimization. The weight of the hydraulic breaker housing is found to decrease from 664㎏ to 632㎏.

PURPOSE : The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between academic stress and sleep disorders among college students, and list the factors that reduce academic stress. METHOD : This study was conducted with 316 college students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades enrolled in the Gyeongnam region. The study period is from October 12, 2020 to October 23, 2020, and there were a total of 316 questionnaires distributed to the study, aimed at those who explained the purpose and purpose of this study to the subject and expressed their intention to participate in it. Implemented. RESULT : The level of stress according to academic stress was 14.56%(46 people) in the health group, 63.60%(201 people) in the latent group, and 21.83%(69 people) in the high-risk stress group. Most of the subjects belonged to the latent group. Normal 0%(0 persons), moderate sleep disorder 92.72(293 persons), severe sleep disorder 7.28%(23 persons). None of the subjects were normal, and most of them had moderate sleep difficulties. CONCLUSION : In the sub-factors of academic stress, study stress was the highest, and in the correlation with sleep disorders, class stress was the highest, and all sub-factors of academic stress showed positive correlations with sleep disorders. If the causes of academic stress, measures to reduce academic stress, and measures to improve sleep quality suggested in this study are developed, it is expected that the academic stress and sleep quality of college students can be improved and improved.

PURPOSE : In this study, we would like to find out how to mediate between stroke patients and walk efficiently through prior research. METHOD : The literature review provides information on stroke and presents the type of gait training that is most effective in training stroke. RESULT&CONCLUSION : When we look at this paper, In the front, rear, and side walk training, it was more effective in the rear and side walk than in the front walk training, and the training method that introduced various methods was more effective than in the general gait training.
