Various research to reduce weight of a car is achieving. This research is tendencious to manufacture solid piston rod of shock absorber as hollow piston rod using friction welding. This study deals with the friction welding of SM45C to SM45C-Pipe that is used in car shock absorber, The friction time was variable conditions under the conditions of spindle revolution of 2,000rpm, friction pressure of 55MPa, upset pressure of 75MPa, and upset time of 2.0seconds. Under these conditions, the microstructure of weld interface, tensile fracture surface and mechanical tests were studied of friction weld, and so the results were as follows. 1. In tensile strength, the hole processing is better than non-hole processing. 2. When the friction time was 1.5seconds under the conditions, the maximum tensile strength of the friction weld happened to be 869MPa, which is 103% of SM45C's tensile strength and 91% of SM45C's Pipe. 3. When the friction time was 2.0seconds under the conditions, the maximum bending strength of the friction weld happened to be 1599MPa, which is 80% of SM45C's bending strength and 118% of SM45C's Pipe.

Various researches to reduce weight of a vehicle are achieving. One of these researches is tendencious to manufacture the hollow piston rod using friction welding instead of solid one of the vehicle shock absorber. This study deals with the friction welding of SM45C to SM20C-pipe that is used normally in the vehicle shock absorber. The friction time was variable conditions under the conditions of spindle revolution of 2,000rpm, friction pressure of 55㎫, upset pressure of 75㎫, and upset time of 2.0seconds. Under these conditions, the microstructure of weld interface, tensile fracture surface and mechanical tests of friction weld were studied and so the results were as follows. When the friction time was l.5seconds under the conditions, the maximum tensile strength of the friction weld happened to be 837㎫, which is 113% of SM20C's tensile strength and 97% of SM45C's. The optimal welding conditions were n=2,000rpm, P₁=55㎫, P₂=75㎫, t₂=1.5sec, t₂=2.0sec when the total upset length is 1.7㎜.

C1 esterase inhibitor deficiency is a disorder resulting from a qualitative or functional defect of the C1 esterase inhibitor. It is characterized by recurrent episodes of subcutaneous and submucosal swellings in any part of the skin and the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain are the dominant symptoms in about 25% of cases and sometimes make this condition misunderstood as surgical emergency, especially when ascites is accompanied. We experienced a case of C1 esterase inhibitor deficiency in a 35-year-old woman presenting with recurrent abdominal pain, ascites, and lower extremities edema. Her symptoms first occurred 8 years ago, and used to spontaneously resolve within 3 days. In laboratory finding, serum C4 and serum C1 esterase inhibitor showed reduced level of 3.2 mg/dL and 5 mg/dL, respectively. After treatment with danazol and tranexamic acid, no more recurrence of symptoms was observed during 2 months of follow-up period. (Intest Res 2007;5:73-76)
『다케토리 모노가타리』의 이중적 서술 구조와 연결 매개체

“Taketori Monogatari” introduces various stories such as ‘an eccentric person"s birth story’, ‘wife-obtaining fight story’, ‘derivation story’, and ‘fairy robe-related story’. Just as shown in the names, they could be divided into stories with realistic materials and stories with unrealistic materials. However, in the parts like ‘development and growth of Kaguyahime’ and ‘proposal and ascension of the emperor’ with the unrealistic materials, the narrators and characters do not show any self-awareness of the unreality as the story develops under the realistic sense. On the other hand, in the part like ‘five young nobles proposal’ which intentionally mixes the unrealistic materials in the real world, the clear perception of the unreality is built on. In order to combine the double-narrative structure stories for a Monogatari work, the author uses several connecting links such as ‘marriage’, ‘treasure in imagination’ shown in the legend, and ‘rumor’. And here, an ‘old man’ plays a role of mediator in tying stories into one. “Taketori Monogatari” has become an ancestor of Japanese novels by deriving diverse-types of novels. However, the novels that realistically handle unrealistic materials gradually decline, and only Monogatari based on the stories with realistic materials is inherited. “Taketori Monogatari” could be evaluated as a work playing the role of driving force in the transitional period from the unrealistic myths or stories to the Japanese-style reality novels, Monogatari literature.
