        한국무용이 고령여성의 비만지수와 인지기능 및 낙상예방체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of traditional Korean dance on adiposity index, cognitive function and fall prevention fitness in elderly women. Twenty-four obesity elderly women(waist circumference over 85cm, waist-hip ratio over 0.85cm) were randomly assigned in traditional Korean dance group (n=12), and control group (n=12). The traditional Korean dance program was conducted 60 minutes per session, 3 days per week for 12 weeks. The results of this study were as follow: There were significantly changes in waist circumference, waist-hip ratio and skin fold thickness. Additionally, there were significantly improvement in cognitive function and fall prevention fitness including muscle strength, balance and center of pressure(COP). Finally, cognitive function and adiposity index presented a negative correlation while cognitive function and fall prevention fitness shows a positive correlation. These findings suggest that traditional Korean dance program may be beneficial to improve adiposity index, cognitive function and fall prevention fitness for obesity elderly women and it would be helpful to prevent falls.

        앉아서 하는 실버체조가 80대후기 고령여성의 신체기능과 우울 및 인지기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of present study was to determine the effects of sitted silver gymnastics program on physical functions, depression and cognitive functions in older elderly women. Subjects were recruted who aged over 80 years or older. The silver gymnastics program was conducted 60 minutes a day, 3 times per week during 30 weeks. As a results, there were significantly diffrences on one leg standing with closed eyes(left, right), Chair sit-up and timed up and go in silver gymnastics group. In addition, there were significantly diffrences on KDSQ-C in silver gymnastics group. Therefore, the silver gymnastics program would give positive effects on physical function, depression and cognitive function in older elderly women.

        복합운동이 중년여성의 건강관련체력 및 혈액변인에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of combined exercise for 12 weeks on health related physical fitness, blood factors in middle aged women. The subject for the study were 26 middle aged women with volunteer, over 42 years old, divided into the exercise program group (n=13) and control group (n=13). All subjects were evaluated pre and post-test. Combined exercise was performed 60 minutes a day, 3 times per week for 12 weeks. The test data were analyzed by paired t-test and two-way ANOVA, and the alpha level of p<.05 was set for all tests of significance. The result of combined exercise improved the left·right hand grip strength, curl ups, 20m PACER, Sit and reach, 10m shuttle run and Stand long jump, with prevented the decrease in body weight, BMI, SBP and increase in BMR at middle aged women. Combined exercise also have a positive effects in all the blood factors. Therefore, the 12 weeks of combined exercise could be beneficial to improve body composition, health-related physical fitness and blood variables in middle aged women.
