We report the improved crystal quality and optical property in (11-22) semipolar InGaN/GaN light emitting diodes (LEDs) grown on hemi-spherically patterned SiO2 mask on m-plane sapphire substrate (HP-SiO2) compared with the m-plane sapphire substrate (m-planar), using metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). The photoluminescence (PL) results showed that the integrated intensity of the near band edge (NBE) emission of the GaN layer grown on HP-SiO2 was increased by 3 times as high as that of m-planar. The full width at half maximums (FWHMs) of X-ray rocking curves for the on- and off-axis planes of the GaN layers on HP-SiO2 were narrower down than on m-planar, which indicates that the crystal quality of the semipolar GaN layers on HP-SiO2 was considerably improved as compared with that on m-planar by reducing defects such as perfect/partial dislocations and basal stacking faults. Cross- sectional transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images also showed the reduction of dislocation density in GaN layers on HP-SiO2 than on m-planar. The optical power of InGaN/GaN LEDs with HP-SiO2 was increased by 1.7 and 7.3 times at injection current of 20 mA and 100 mA, respectively, in comparison with the m-planar LEDs.

In order to observe the mechanism of autoregulation of blood flow in the isolated rabbit kidneys, 20 rabbits served as the normal control of which kidneys were perfused with blood obtained from donor rabbits. In 18 rabbits kidneys were decapsulated and perfused with blood, In 5 rabbits intact kidneys were perfused with a balanced perfusate. From the perfusion studies in earth group, phenomenon of autoregulation was observed were as follows. 1) The autoregulation was maintained for 30 min, from the onset of perfusion, thereafter deterioration rapidly. Data cited in this article were those obtained at 30 minutes. from onset of perfusion. 2) The weight of kidney after perfusion experienment increased about 3.2% in the group, 6.6% in the second group. But there were no increase in the third group. 3) The autoregulation of renal flow was observed in every group and autoregulation zone was ranged between 110 and 190 mmHg. 4) The mean renal flows at autoregulation zone were about 1.25ml/min/gm in the first and second group and about 6.0ml/min/gm in the third group. 5) Intra renal vascular resistance increased proportionately as perfusion pressure was increased within therange of autoregulation in every group but rather decreased at the out of range of autoregulation. From the above data, nechanism of autoregulation in the rabbit kidney was discussed.

초고속 인터넷가입자의 급증에 따라 이들을 수용하기 위해 ISP들은 자체망 구축에 심여를 기울이고 있지만 중복.과잉투자라는 문제점이 제기됨에 따라 기존에 구축된 유선망을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있는 필요성이 제기되었다. 이를 위해 가입자선로 세분화(Local Loop Unbundling: LLU)하여 공동활용 할 수 있도록 하는 방안이 추진중이다. 이에 본 고는 LLU의 원가산정방법인 Bottom up 형태의 LRIC 모형을 산정하기 위한 가입자망 재설계 방법을 살펴보았다.

Software defined technology (SDx), which defines the IT infrastructure based on software and controls that are not dependent on a specific hardware, and provides a rapid and flexible IT infrastructure, is increasing. SDx features centralized control, a common commercial product infrastructure, hardware-software dualization, and programmability. With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, in which various application services are emerging based on IT infrastructure, interest in SDx is gradually increasing as the need for infrastructure flexibility and an agile business environment is increasing. This paper reviews the market trends of software defined anything using SDx and the trends of major vendors.
