Road traffic noise barriers being used to reduce the noise, but the city surroundings inhibition, ecosystem disturbance, and it is difficult to maintain. Can enhance or complement the existing noise barrier performance, so that it is necessary to develop an electronic noise-reduction system In this paper, we proposed an electronic road noise reduction devices to reduce road noise for a DSP-based signal processing and analog signal input-output controller. In order to verify the control performance, we performed noise reduction experimentation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and traffic noise signal injection. The controller is equipped with noise reduction algorithms were tested on the characteristics of directional and omnidirectional speaker.
개선된 시스템 제어기를 사용한 능동소음제어의 실시간 구현 특성

Active noise control (ANC) is a method of cancelling a noise signal in an acoustic cavity by generating an appropriate anti-noise signal via canceling loudspeakers. The continuous progress of ANC involves the development of improved adaptive signal processing algorithms, transducers, and DSP hardware. In this paper, the convergence behavior and the stability of the FxLMS algorithm in ANC systems with real-time implementation is proposed. Specially, The advanced DSP H/W with dual core(DSP+ARM) and API(application programming interface) S/W programming was developed to improve the real-time implementation performance under the FxLMS algorithms of input noise such as road noise environment. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with the theoretical predictions.
도로환경 정온화의 실시간 적용을 위한 Co-LMS 알고리즘의 특성 고찰

The active noise control(ANC) method for noise problems solution generally uses filtered-X LMS algorithms. However, Filtered-X LMS algorithms were mainly used but these had a limitation that had to measure a transfer function of secondary noise path. However, newly proposed correlation-LMS algorithms have slightly much calculation and are minutely behind performance, these have a advantage not in measuring transfer function onerously so that we can easily adapt these in real time. Thus Co-LMS algorithm was developed to improve the real-time implementation performance under the variable input noise such as road noise environment. In this paper, the performance of the Co-LMS is presented in comparison with that of the Filtered-X LMS algorithm. Simulation results show that active noise control using Co-LMS have slightly much calculation and are minutely behind performance, these have a advantage not in measuring transfer function onerously so that we can easily adapt these in real time.
교통환경 정온화를 위한 도로 소음의 측정 및 ANC시스템에의 적용 특성 고찰

Noise problem that occurs on the road is raising a lot of problems in the economic, social and environmental aspects. The objective of this paper is to propose ANC(active noise cancellation)-based road traffic noise reduction algorithm-model which can reduce noise by generating frequency opposed to noise sources to improve and complement the problem that existing physical form of a noise barrier. In this paper, we measured the noise characteristic from collection of two difference car noise also ANC simulation has been performed by using road traffic noises input. In order to compare the control performance, we performed noise reduction simulation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and delayed control signal injection. As a result of this simulation, we confirmed that convergence performance and noise decrease effect to the filtered-X LMS algorithm by inputting the road traffic noise.
도로소음 입력의 ANC시스템에서 실시간 적용의 CLMS 알고리즘의 성능

Recently, many active noise control (ANC) systems, which employ the adaptive filter controlling method, have been reported for eliminating unwanted noise. ANC systems based on the filtered-X least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm have a problem with compensating the acoustic feedback of secondary route. It is difficult to apply the real time, because transfer function of secondary route must be measured by off-line method to solve this problem. In this paper, we propose the ANC system that applies a correlation LMS(CLMS) algorithm for improving a problem of transfer function measurement. The proposed algorithm is based on input of road noise. The proposed ANC systems have an advantage of real-time process without degradation of performance, although there are many calculation compared with FXLMS algorithm.
능동소음제어를 위한 Adjoint-LMS 알고리즘의 강인성 개선

Noise problem that occurs in living environment is a big trouble in the economic, social and environmental aspects. In this paper, the filtered-X LMS algorithms, the adjoint LMS algorithms, and the robust adjoint LMS algorithms will be introduced for applications in active noise control(ANC). The filtered-X LMS algorithms is currently the most popular method for adapting a filter when the filter exits a transfer function in the error path. The adjoint LMS algorithms, that prefilter the error signals instead of divided reference signals in frequency band, is also used for adaptive filter algorithms to reduce the computational burden of multi-channel ANC systems such as the 3D space. To improve performance of the adjoint LMS ANC system, an off-line measured transfer function is connected parallel to the LMS filter. This parallel-fixed filter acts as a noise controller only when the LMS filter is abnormal condition. The superior performance of the proposed system was compared through simulation with the adjoint LMS ANC system when the adaptive filter is in normal and abnormal condition.
