One of the most important parameters for explosive welding is flyer velocity $V_p$, which principally depends on momentum caused by detonation of explosive. And close dependency with other parameters such as detonation velocity $V_D$, dynamic angle $\beta$, charge ratio R, flyer thickness $t_f$ and stand-off distance d, should be taken accounts for welding design. This paper describes, as a result of experiment, an empirical equation related to relation between $V_p$/$V_D$ and R. The flyer velocity which is estimated by $V_{p}=0.284{\times}R^{0.593}$or $V_{p}=\sqrt[0.2]{2E_G}{\times}R^{0.593}$ can be used in ordinary experiments. And the calculated values of the flyer velocity exhibit better accuracy than those of other investigators. 본 연구에서는 레이저를 사용한 부재의 충돌속도 계측 실험을 통하여 기존 연구자들의 연구 결과를 비교하고, 이 결과를 바탕으로 보다 간단하고 유용한 실험식 을 제안하고자 한다.

Since Neanderthal buried their ancestors, Human Beings made and developed the concept of the other world. According to the concept of after life of Neanderthal, the dead lived continually in the tomb after the same mode of this world. About 3000 B.C. Mesopotamians made the concept of the other world. According to the epic of Gilgamesh the dead didn’t live in his tomb but went to the place where only the dead lived. The other world was a vague and dark place. It is Zoroastrianism that made the differentiation of the other world for the first time. According to the doctrine of Zoroastrianism man should be judged about his doings of this world. If he lived bad life he should go to the hell. Plato developed similar thought. He thought the dead be responsible for his doing in this world, and the worst be sentenced to go to the hell. But at these stage the differentiation of the other world was not complete. Zoroastrianism taught the hell was a temporary purification place. It is Judaism that made the differentiation of the other world complete. About second century B.C. Judaism developed the concept of eternal hell and thought all bad men should go to the hell. The early Christianity made the concept of hell popularized.

2-Storey Hanok for commerce which appeared with modernization of Seoul was being changed with closed relationship of transformation of urban structure. Especially, the 2-Storey Hanok in Samsungdong 5-ga which developed at the same time both urban housing block and housing type is distinguished from earlier model(1910~40's 2-Storey Hanok for commerce). The typological characters were analized as follows; 1) Don-am district had been divided with grid for a short period of time, and it has a district for commercial street motivated to construct Samsungdong 5-ga 2-Storehy Hanok for commerce. 2) The type of 2-Storey Hanok for commerce is completed by adding the ㄱ-shaped unit(the living part) to the ㅡ-shaped unit(the 2-storey part) which faced to the main road in the subdivided plot. But this layout is being transformed when plot conditions change. 3) The 2-storey Hanok for commerce has a united structural system of the 2-storey part and the living part, and they were built with continous wooden-column. Samsundong 5-ga 2-Storey Hanok for commerce which located at the last period of construction has a feature of the simplicity in plan and the united structural system caused by economical reason. Those can be considered as reflections of the fact that 2-Storey Hanok for commerce became as a common architectural typology.
전기투석을 이용한 분리막 담수화 공정 배출 농축수의 이차 농축기술

역삼투막을 이용한 해수담수화 공정에서 발생되는 농축수의 최소방류 및 회수율 극대화를 위한 공정으로 전기투석을 이용한 농축수의 이차 농축기술 연구를 수행하였다. 실험방법은 정전압운전 방식을 채용하였으며, 농축/탈염조의 용량비율, 전압별 변화 및 전해질을 농축수로 활용시 등에 대한 검토를 수행하였다. 사용한 막은 다가이온막을 채용하였으며, 전력효율을 최소화하며, 농축수의 농도를 극대화 및 탈염수의 농도를 최소화할 수 있는 조건 도출을 목표로 삼았다. 실험결과 농축/탈염조의 비율은 1대 5의 비율이, 전압의 경우 12V로 전해질의 경우 농축수를 이용시에도 효율에는 큰 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 이와 같은 실험조건에서 도출된 최적조건으로는 탈염수의 총용존고형물 농도가 5.32g/l, 이차 농축수의 염도는 17.07%이며 전력량은 탈염수 톤당 16.74kWh로 나타났다. This study is about the secondary concentration technology using electrodialysis process for minimum discharge and maximize recovery ratio from seawater desalination by reverse osmosis process. The experimental method adopted the constant voltage driving method and, concentrated/desalination volume capacity ratio changes, voltage changes and electrolyte types. Multi-ion membrane is used, aiming to derive conditions to minimize the TDS concentration of desalination water, to minimize the volumes of secnodary concentraion water and minimizing the power efficiency. The results of this study are as follows. The optimal ratio of concentraion/desalination volume is 1:5, the final TDS concentration of desalinated water is 5.32g/l, the final secnodary concentrated water salinity is 17.07% and electric energy demands of desalinated water is $16.74kWh/m^3$.
Carcinosarcoma of the Maxillary Sinus

Carcinosarcoma is a highly malignant tumor characterized by dual malignant histologic differentiation of epithelial and mesenchymal components. The tumor is extremely rare in the sinonasal tract. We report a case of a 62-year-old man with carcinosarcoma involving the maxillary sinus.
