        외상에 의한 정신 및 행동장애에 대한 법원 감정의 실태와 문제점에 관한 연구

        Traumatic injury can result not only in physical disability but also in mental and behavioral sequelae. It is very important to properly judge the severity of disability as well as the need for assistance and future medical treatment. It is very difficult to establish objective guidelines for assessing mental and behavioral disabilities due to the inherent peculiarity of the disabilities. This study uses reports generated for court because they need to be more judicious than reports for other types of evaluation. We analyzed reports concerning the facts and problems associated with evaluation of mental and behavioral disabilities. We hope this study will help further our understanding of mental and behavioral disabilities.

        Developing Korean Academy of Medical Sciences Guideline for Rating the Impairment in Mental and Behavioral Disorders; A Comparative Study of KNPA’s New Guidelines and AMA’s 6th Guides

        Quantifying and rating the impairments due to mental and behavior disorders are difficult for their own characteristics. Korean Academy of Medical Sciences (KAMS) is developing guidelines of rating impairment in mental and behavioral disorders based on Korean Neuropsychiatric Association (KNPA)’s new guidelines. We compared the new KNPA’s guidelines and the American Medical Association (AMA)’s 6th Guides in assessing impairment due to mental and behavioral disorders to develop new guidelines of KAMS. Two guidelines are different in diagnosing system, applicable disorders, qualification of assessors, application of scales, contents of assessment and rate of impairment of the whole person. Both AMA’s and the proposed guidelines have individual merits and characteristics. There is a limitation in using the 6th AMA’s Guides in Korean situation. However to improve objectivity in Korean assessment of psychiatric impairment, the new AMA’s Guides can serve as a good reference.

        신경정신장애 평가기준안 : 중추신경계

        Generally, the role of doctors has been limited in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. However, the role has recently expanded in improving the quality oflife and evaluating the impaimients of various disease. Evaluation of impairment in the psychiatric area has much more difficulty than others. Symptoms of psychiatric disorders have subjective, diverse and changeable. Also, Previous tools such as McBride Disability Evaluation, Law of Workmen's Accident Compensation Insurance and Law of National Compensation, are not accepted as universal instruments in psychiatric area because of their own limitation. Consequently, the Department of Impairment Evaluation Committee m Korean Neu-ropsychiatric Association has revised, evaluated and investigated previous diverse guidelines related with evaluation of Psy-chiatric impairments to make reasonable and adaptable new guidelines which include recent medical opinions. We hope this guideline could be used pertinently in evaluation of psychiatric impairment in every situations.

        The Effect of Destabilization Heat Treatment on the Carbide and Matrix Microstructures of 3%C-18%Cr-1%Mo-2%Ni-1%Mn High Chromium Cast Iron

        3%C-18%Cr-1%Mo-2%Ni-1%Mn high chromium cast iron was casted and destabilized at temperatures of 900, 1000 and $1100^{\circ}C$ for 1, 2, 4 and 8hr under $N_2$atmosphere to observe the effect of destabilization temperature and time on the carbide and matrix structures. In as-cast condition, the microstructure consisted of $M_{ 7}$$C_3$ carbides and matrix structures which were composed of 91.50% austenite and 8.50% martensite. Numerous fine secondary carbides were observed in the specimens destabilized at $900^{\circ}C$ for 1, 2, 4 and 8hr. But, the number of secondary carbides were much reduced with the increased destabilization temperature. More austenite was formed in the matrix with the higher destabilization temperature. The amounts of austenite in the matrix were 4.23% at $900^{\circ}C$, 29.68% at $1000^{\circ}C$ and 66.51% at$ 1100^{\circ}C$, respectively. However, the effect of destabilization time on the secondary carbide and matrix was very weak compared with that of destabilization temperature. The ranges of the amount of austenite in the matrix from 1hr to 8hr destabilization heat treatment were: 3.95%-4.35% at $900^{\circ}C$, 28.89%-30.15% at $1000^{\circ}C$ and 65.13%-67.12% at $1100^{\circ}C$, respectively. The variation ranges were very narrow. The equilibrium concentration of C and Cr in austenite was already reached within 1hr during destabilization heat treatment. After an attainment of the equilibrium concentration of C and Cr in austenite, no more secondary carbide was precipitated from the matrix.

        3%C-5%Mo-5%W-10%(Cr or V) 백주철의 응고거동에 관현 연구

        10%C-5%Mo-5%W-10%Cr 및 10%C-5%Mo-5%W-10%V 백주철의 응고거동을 열분석을 통하여 연구하였다. 15Kg 용량의 고주파 유도옹해로에 선철, 고철, Fe-Mo, Fe-W, Fe-Cr, Fe-V 등을 장입시켜 용해시킨 후 슬래그를 제거시키고 $1550^{\circ}C$에서 Y블럭의 펩 주형에 주입하였다. 응고거동을 조사하기 위하여 50g을 Y블럭에서 채취한 뒤 알루미나 도가니에 넣어 재용해시킨 후 1$0^{\circ}C$/min의 냉각속도로 냉각시키면서 여섯 종류의 다른 온도에서 도중에 급냉시켜 응고조직을 광학현미경으로 관찰하였다. 10%C-5%Mo-5%W-10%Cr 백주철의 경우 초정 오스테나이트, 오스테나이트와 M(sub)7C(sob)3의 공정, 오스테나이트와 M(sub)6C의 공정으로, 10%C-5%Mo-5%W-10%V 백주철의 경우 초정 MC, 오스테나이트와 MC의 공정, 오스테나이트와 M(sub)2C의 공정으로 각각 순차적으로 정출하였다. 정출하였다.

        노인에서의 외상 후 스트레스 장애

        As an aging population is increasing, more elderly people are exposed to traumatic stress. Although this issue has received more attention in some literature, it is clear that numerous questions exist in aftermath of trauma exposure in elderly people. In case of Korean elderly suffers, traumatic experience includes the Korean war, military dictatorship and violent demonstration. Studies regarding elderly PTSD is not active and a lot of patients are not still engaged in treatment. We suggest that concerns that are unique to this population are necessary.

        Solidifications Simulation of Gray Iron Sheave Product with Consideration of Graphite Precipitation

        Solidification simulation of gray cast iron sheave product was conducted with the consideration of graphite precipitation during solidification, and of casting processes such as post-inoculation method, treatment and rate, the result of which was aimed to be adopted in the field. In risering design(I), shrinkage cavities were predicted to occur in the part below the risers and center part of the product. While the former defect was considered to be due to the solidification behaviour of riser neck, the latter was due to the feeding channel. In design(II), the length of the riser neck was reduced and one top open riser was attached in the center of the product to prevent the formation of shrinkage cavities, whereby defect-free product was produced.

      • Effects of Alloying Elements and Destabilization Conditions on the Amount of Retained Austenite in Eutectic High chromium White Cast Irons

        다섯 조성의 서로 다른 Mo, Ni 및 Mn 함량을 지닌 3 mass% C-20 mass% Cr 공정조성의 백주철을 질소분위기하에서, 1173, 1273 및 1373°K 의 온도로 3.6, 7.2, 14.4 및 28.8 ks 동안 불안정화열처리를 행한 후 공냉시켜 잔류오스테나이트를 측정한 결과를 합금원소함량, 불안정화열처리조건 및 Vγ사이에 다음과 같은 관계를 얻었다. 즉 Mo, Ni 및 Mn을 첨가한 결과, 주방상태에서 79.89-91.65 vol.%범위의 Vγ가 얻어 졌으며 피얼라이트 전혀 생성되지 않았다. 1173°K에서 불안정화열처리를 한 경우에는 무수히 작은 이차탄화물이 석출하였으나 온도가 높아 질수록 그 수는 점차 감소하여 1373°K에서는 거의 관찰되지 않았다. 1173 및 1373°K에서 불안정화열처리를 한 경우, 불안정화열처리시간의 증가에 따른 Vγ의 변화는 미미하였으나 1273°K의 경우에는 감소하였다. 또한 Mo, Ni 및 Mn의 첨가량이 많아짐에 따라 Vγ는 증가하였으며 이 두 함수사이에 관계식을 정립시키기 위하여 P 인자를 도입하였다. In this study, 3 mass% C-20 mass% Cr white cast irons five different levels of Mo, Ni and Mn contents were destabilized at temperature of 1173, 1273 and 1373°K for 3.6, 7.2, 14.4 and 28.8 ks under nitrogen atmosphere, and were followed by air cooling. Then, the volumetric percentage of retained austenite in the matrix(Vγ) was measured using an X-ray diffraction method with simultaneously rotating and swinging the sample stage. The interrelation among alloying concentration, destabilizing condition and Vγ was obtained as follows : In as-cast condition, Vγof each specimen was ranged from 79.89 to 91.65 vol.% with the addition of Mo, Ni and Mo, and no pearlitic structure was observed in the matrix. While Vγvalues were very small when the specimens were destabilized at 1173°K for four different destabilizing times, the higher values of Vγwas obtained at 1273 and 1373°K. Numerous fine secondary carbides were observed in the specimens destabilized at 1173°K. Less but coarse secondary carbides were obtained in the specimens held at 1273°K. However, no precipitation of secondary carbides was occurred when the specimens were destabilized at 1373°K . While the variation of Vγwith the destabilizing time was negligible at 1173 and 1373°K, Vγshowed a decreased tendency with the increased destabilizing time at 1273°K . But, Vγwas increased with the increased addition of Mo, Ni and Mn at 1273 and 1373°K, but was almost constant at 1173°K. Therefore, the parameter(P) was introduced as a factor to relate the alloying elements with Vγ.
