        시스템 통합 시험 환경을 이용한 항공기 탑재 레이다의 탐색 패턴 안정화 기능 검증

        항공기 탑재 레이다는 전술 목적에 따라 다양한 운용 모드를 가지며, 각 모드별 운용 목적에 맞게 탐색 영역을 설정할 수 있도록 설계된다. 일반적인 AESA 레이다는 조종사가 탐색 영역을 지정하면 지정된 영역내 표적을 탐지하기 위해 사전 정의된 탐색빔 그리드에 따라 차례로 탐색빔을 방사하여 표적을 탐지하게 된다. 이때 자항공기의 자세가 변하더라도 사전에 조종사가 탐지하고자 하는 영역을 안정적으로 탐색할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 항공기 탑재 레이다의 공대공 운용 모드에서 탐색 패턴 안정화를 통해 자항공기의 Roll과 Pitch 기동시에도 표적을 안정적으로 탐지할 수 있는 방안에 관한 것으로, 시스템 통합 시험 (SIL; system integration laboratory) 환경에서 자항공기의 기동과 표적을 모의하여 그 성능을 입증하였다. The radar installed on an aircraft has various operating modes depending on tactical purposes, allowing for the configuration of search areas according to each mode’s operational objectives. active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar emits search beams sequentially according to a predefined search beam grid within the designated search area specified by the pilot to detect targets within it. It is crucial that the radar can stably search the area designated by the pilot for target detection, even as the aircraft’s attitude changes. This paper focuses on stabilizing the search pattern in the air-to-air operational mode of aircraft-mounted radar to ensure stable target detection during roll and pitch maneuvers of the aircraft. The paper demonstrates its performance by simulating aircraft maneuvers and targets in a system integration laboratory (SIL) test environment.

        Pectin Micro- and Nano-capsules of Retinyl Palmitate as Cosmeceutical Carriers for Stabilized Skin Transport

        Retinyl palmitate (RP)-loaded pectinate micro- and nano-particles (PMP and PNP) were designedfor stabilization of RP that is widely used as an anti-wrinkle agent in anti-aging cosmeceuticals. PMP/PNP were prepared with an ionotropic gelation method, and anti-oxidative activity of the particleswas measured with a DPPH assay. The stability of RP in the particles along with pectin gel andethanolic solution was then evaluated. In vitro release and skin permeation studies were performedusing Franz diffusion cells. Distribution of RP in each skin tissue (stratum corneum, epidermis, anddermis) was also determined. PMP and PNP could be prepared with mean particle size diameters of593∼843 μm (PMP) and 530 nm (i.e., 0.53 μm, PNP). Anti-oxidative activity of PNP was greaterthan PMP due largely to larger surface area available for PNP. The stability of RP in PMP and PNPwas similar but much greater than RP in pectin bulk gels and ethanolic solution. PMP and PNP showedthe abilities to constantly release RP and it could be permeated across the model artificial membraneand rat whole skin. RP was serially deposited throughout the skin layers. This study implies RP loadedPMP and PNP are expected to be advantageous for improved anti-wrinkle effects.

        감쇠장치를 사용한 경주지진과 유사한 특성을 가지는 지반가속도로 가진된 단주기구조물 내진성능보강

        In this study, effectiveness of seismic retrofitting methods using passive damping devices was investigated through numerical analyses of short-period structures under earthquakes which have short-duration and high-frequency impulse characteristics similar to Geyongju earthquakes. Displacement spectra of elastic systems and ductility demand of inelastic systems were evaluated by increasing viscous or friction damping. The damping devices could reduce responses of the structures with shorter structural period than 0.2s. The earthquakes similar to impulse load did not induce the responses of the structures with longer period than 0.4s, and the effects of the damping devices which generates damping forces proportional to structural responses became insignificant.

        CFAR 적용시 섹션 크기 가변화를 이용한 오표적의 효율적 제거

        Generally, because received signals from radar are very bulky, the data are divided into manageable size called section, and sections are distributed into several digital signal processors. And then, target detection algorithms are applied simultaneously in each processor. CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate) algorithm, which is the most popular target detection algorithm, can estimate accurate threshold values to determine which signals are targets or noises within center-cut of section allocated to each processor. However, its estimation precision is diminished in section edge data because of insufficient surrounding data to be referred. Especially this edge problem of CFAR is too serious if we have many sections to be processed, because it causes many false alarms in most every section edges. This paper describes false alarm issues on MCA(Minimum Cell Average)-CFAR, and proposes a false alarm elimination method by changing section size alternatively. Real received data from multi-function radar were used to evaluate a proposed method, and we show that our method drastically decreases false alarms without missing real targets, and improves detection performance.

        글로벌 월경위생 캠페인의 전개와월경인권 담론 연구

        In the globalization era. menstruation is now at the point of discussing ‘menstruation as human rights’ as a global human rights norm and development agenda. In the global society in the mid-2000s, the menstruation problem was not addressed in the debate on feminism and reproduction rights movement, nor in the goal of sexual and reproductive health and rights in global development, but in the irony of sustainable environmental goals in the issue of water, hygiene and sanitation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning and limitations of menstrual discourse produced by the subjects of menstrual hygiene management through the menstrual hygiene day campaign and research report. It examines how menstrual reality, including the global menstrual taboo and menstruation statistics, in the underdeveloped regions of Asia is represented and how global human rights norms support the menstrual hygiene discourse. This suggests that women’s menstrual experience is extended to the feminist agenda of gender and reproductive rights in order to become a menstrual human right, beyond limiting menstrual problems to hygiene sanitation and health development agendas.

        레이더의 부하 상태에 따른 빔 스케줄링 알고리즘의 선택적 적용

        AESA radar is able to instantaneously and adaptively position and control the beam, and such adaptive beam pointing of AESA radar enables to remarkably improve the multi-mission capability. For this reason, Radar Resource Management(RRM) becomes new challenging issue. RRM is a technique efficiently allocating finite resources, such as energy and time to each task in an optimal and intelligent way. Especially radar beam scheduling is the most critical component for the success of RRM. In this paper, we proposed a rule-based scheduling algorithm and Simulated Annealing(SA) based scheduling algorithm, which are alternatively selected and applied to beam scheduler according radar load status in real-time. The performance of the proposed algorithm was evaluated on the multi-function radar scenario. As a result, we showed that our proposed algorithm can process a lot of beams at the right time with real time capability, compared with applying only rule-based scheduling algorithm. Additionally, we showed that the proposed algorithm can save scheduling time remarkably, compared with applying only SA-based scheduling algorithm.

        Feminist menstrual activism in South Korea (1999–2012)

        This study begins with questions about the politics of menstruation that have been unspoken and neglected issues in Korean feminist history. Menstruation first appeared in social discourse in Korean society, raised by a few women’s groups in the midst of the new feminist movement. This study examines three activities of the movement: the “Menstruation Festival,” “Pad Up–Down Campaign,” and “Bloodsisters Solidarity” for evaluation as historical cases of Korean menstrual activism, 1999–2012. It considers the strategies and differences in sociocultural contexts wherein concerns about menstruation converge with the feminist agenda. Characteristics of menstrual activism in Korea surfaced in issues pertaining to women’s health advocacy, Young Feminist cultural feminism, radical feminism and eco-feminism surrounding the “alternative menstrual pad” movement. These processes of the menstrual activism of grassroots women’s groups are examined here and reveal that the dominance of consumerism and the androcentric, gender-discriminatory culture are related to the gender politics of menstruation in South Korea.

        Anti-Oxidative Activity of Pectin and Its Stabilizing Effect on Retinyl Palmitate

        The purpose of this study was to examine the anti-oxidative activity of pectin and other polysaccharides in order to develop a cosmeceutical base having anti-oxidative effects towards retinyl palmitate (RP). The anti-oxidative stabilizing effects of pectin and other polysaccharides on RP were evaluated by DPPH assay and then the stabilizing effect of pectin on RP was examined as a function of time. Among the polysaccharides we examined, pectin exhibited a considerably higher anti-oxidative activity,with an approximately 5-fold greater DPPH radical scavenging effect compared to other polysaccharides. The DPPH radical scavenging effect of pectin increased gradually with increasing concentrations of pectin. At two different RP concentrations, 0.01 and 0.1% in ethanol, addition of pectin improved the stability of RP in a concentration dependent manner. The stabilizing effect of pectin on RP was more effective for the lower concentration of RP (0.01%, v/v). Further, degradation of RP was reduced following the addition of pectin as measured over 8 hours. From the results obtained,it can be suggested that pectin may be a promising ingredient for cosmeceutical bases designed to stabilize RP or other pharmacological agents subject to degradation by oxidation.

        수치해석모델을 이용한 콘서트 홀 바닥진동 안전성 평가

        본 논문에서는 실제 공연장을 예제 건물로 하여 공연장에 발생한 진동을 측정한 결과를 바탕으로 공연장 구조물의 안전성에 대해 해석적으로 평가하였다. 수치해석 프로그램은 MIDAS GEN을 사용하였으며, 바닥판은 합성효과를 고려하여 모델링 하였다. 해석결과 진동계측실험을 통해 구한 바닥판 고유진동수와 유사한 결과를 보였다. 또한 군중의 율동에 의한 동적하중을 시간이력해석으로 해석하여 진동계측 실험과 유사한 수준의 바닥판 가속도 응답을 확인하였다. 이 모델을 사용하여 예제 공연장의 최대관람인원인 400명의 집단율동 시 발생하는 상황에 대하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 기둥과 보의 가해지는 외력은 설계 내력을 하회하여 안전성에 문제없음을 확인하였다. 또한 공연 시 발생하는 수평방향 진동수준은 지진하중의 2% 수준으로 수직수평 모두 안전성에 문제가 없는 것을 확인하였다. In this paper, the floor vibration of an example concert hall building was measured and floor safety criteria were analytically checked through comparison between experimental and analytical results. The floor bottom plate model was constructed considering the composite effect and the analytical model was modified to have the natural frequency identical to the measured one. Also, time history analysis was conducted using the dynamic loads induced by human rhythmic movement during a musical performance, and the analytically calculated floor accelerations were similar to the measured one. Based on this model, the floor vibration level due to the group activities of about 400 persons, maximum available persons for the concert hall, was estimated. It was confirmed that the human induced dynamic loads applied to the column and beam would be much lower than the design strength. In addition, the horizontal acceleration level is just 2% of the design seismic load, so the concert hall is safe in both vertical and horizontal excitations by human rhythmic movements.

        만성질환자를 위한 비대면 진료 서비스의 사용자 기대가치 도출

        Background : Chronic disease patients complain of difficulties in continuous chronic disease management due to difficulties in health management due to aging, economic problems, mobility difficulties, and regional accessibility. As an alternative to this, interest in non-face-to-face treatment services is increasing. However, the rate of use of non-face-to-face treatment services for chronically ill patients is still low due to insufficient systems, unfamiliar services, misdiagnosis, and unclear standards of responsibility for medical accidents. Since the effectiveness and satisfaction of medical services are not simply judged based on the effectiveness of medical treatment, but greatly depend on the patient's expectations and experiences, a design that reflects the expectancy-value of the chronically ill will improve the effectiveness and satisfaction of non-face-to-face treatment services. Currently, various studies on non-face-to-face treatment services are being conducted. Still, studies specialized for chronically ill patients with significantly high medical use rates are lacking, and accordingly, research on the expectancy-value of chronically ill patients is necessary. Methods : In this study, after understanding non-face-to-face treatment services with chronically ill patients through literature, to derive the expectancy-value of users for non-face-to-face treatment services, a literature survey, and user interviews were conducted to collect the items of expectancy-value of users. Using the collected user expectancy-value results, questionnaire items were prepared and surveyed online. The survey results were derived as the expectancy-value of users of non-face-to-face treatment services through factor analysis, and after deriving the expectancy-value of users, the significance of each user expectanc-value was examined. Results : There are nine values that chronically ill patients expect from non-face-to-face treatment services: "Reliability," "Simplicity," "Interest," "Detail," "Accuracy," "Self-Determination," "Efficiency," "Connectedness," and "Convenience." Conclusion : This study derives the expectancy-value of non-face-to-face treatment services for chronically ill patients and empirically explores them. The results of this study can be used as a goal or evaluation criterion when designing non-face-to-face treatment services for chronically ill patients. However, there are various types of chronically ill patients, and treatment and management methods may differ for each disease, so the design of non-face-to-face treatment services for chronically ill patients can be further developed if research continues to consider these aspects.
