Semantic network analysis를 활용한 원자력 수용성 연구

지금까지 원자력 발전소와 방사선 폐기물장에 대한 유지 및 신규 건설에 대한 수용성에 관한 연구는 꾸준히 이루어져 왔으나 연구기관 설립에 대한 주민 수용성 연구는 미진하였다. 아울러 기존의 연구들이 개별적, 변수중심적 분석 방법론을 주로 사용함에 따라 설문 응답자들의 종합적인 의견의 관계 분석에 대한 한계가 존재하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 원자력 연구기관 입주 후보지역 주민들을 대상으로 depth interview 를 수행하였고 Semantic network analysis 방법론을 사용하였다. 또한 전국적인 설문을 실시하여 연구기관에 대한 호응도를 보완적으로 수행하였다. SNA 분석 결과 찬성 의견으로 연구 인력 증가로 인한 지역활성화와 지역경제 성장 기대감이 제시되었으며 반대 의견으로는 연구기관 인력들의 지역내 미거주 및 기존 주민들간의 위화감 등으로 나타났다. 아울러 성공적인 연구기관 설립을 위해서 연구기관-정부-주민의 소통 창구 마련, 호응도가 높은 원자력 관련 교육기관과 치료를 위한 원자력 병원도 함께 동일 지역 내 추진되는 것과 지역 주민들을 위한 경제적 보상안 마련을 정책적으로 추진할 필요가 있다.
Big Data Analysis of Public Acceptance of Nuclear Power in Korea

Public acceptance of nuclear power is important for the government, the major stakeholderof the industry, because consensus is required to drive actions. It is therefore no coincidencethat the governments of nations operating nuclear reactors are endeavoring toenhance public acceptance of nuclear power, as better acceptance allows stable powergeneration and peaceful processing of nuclear wastes produced from nuclear reactors. Pastresearch, however, has been limited to epistemological measurements using methods suchas the Likert scale. In this research, we propose big data analysis as an attractive alternativeand attempt to identify the attitudes of the public on nuclear power. Specifically, weused common big data analyses to analyze consumer opinions via SNS (Social NetworkingServices), using keyword analysis and opinion analysis. The keyword analysis identifiedthe attitudes of the public toward nuclear power. The public felt positive toward nuclearpower when Korea successfully exported nuclear reactors to the United Arab Emirates. With the Fukushima accident in 2011 and certain supplier scandals in 2012, however, theimage of nuclear power was degraded and the negative image continues. It is recommendedthat the government focus on developing useful businesses and use cases ofnuclear power in order to improve public acceptance.
고진공 터보 분자펌프용 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 선형 제어시스템

본 논문에서는 고진공용 터보분자펌프의 비접촉 고속회전을 위한 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 제어시스템의 설계에 대하여 소개하였으며, 실례로 800 l/s급의 고진공 펌프에 대하여 축 유연모드의 후방향 위험속도를 넘는 최대 40,000 rpm까지의 회전실험 결과를 나타내었다. 제안된 제어시스템은 기본적으로 PID 기반의 직접궤환 제어기와 자이로스코픽 모멘트 효과를 제어하기 위한 교차궤환기, 유연모우드 감쇄를 위한 리드필터와 동기진동 저감을 위한 노치필터 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 이러한 제어기는 자기부상형 터보분자펌프 외에 고속 플라이휠과 같은 자기베어링에 적용될 수 있다. In this paper, a digital controller of magnetic bearing system for a high vacuum turbomolecular pump (TMP) is designed and examined. For stabilizing and providing damping in magnetic bearing, the digital PID controller is applied for each 5 control axes, and the inter-axis cross feedback controller is also applied to suppress low frequency vibration caused by gyroscopic moment of the rotor at high speed of rotation. The fabricated rotor-shaft has its first flexible natural frequency lower than maximum speed, about 614Hz, so the two lead filters are applied to increase damping of flexible mode. Notch filters with rotating frequency were selected to reduce vibration of the pump housing caused by unbalance load. The implemented controllers are verified by examination of frequency response and rotating test up to 40,000 rpm, which is higher than critical speed of backward flexible mode.

Nuclear energy sources are indispensable in cost effectively achieving carbon neutral economy, wherepublic opinion is critical to adoption as the consequences of nuclear accident can be catastrophic. In thiscontext, discussion on spent nuclear fuel is a prerequisite to expanding nuclear energy, as it leads to theissue of radioactive waste disposal. Given the dearth of study on spent nuclear fuel public acceptance, weuse text mining and big data analysis on the news article and public comments data on Naver newsportal to identify the Korean public opinion on spent nuclear fuel. We identify that the Korean public ismore interested in the nuclear energy policy than spent nuclear fuel itself and that the alternative energysources affect the position towards spent nuclear fuel. We recommend relating spent nuclear fuel issuewith nuclear energy policy and environmental issues of alternative energy sources to further promotespent nuclear fuel.
반도체 패키징 검사장비의 구조 동특성 개선에 관한 연구

The dynamic performances, such as natural frequency, damping and dynamic compliance are playing bigger roles for high speed inspection equipments for the modern semiconductor production systems. In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the prototype of a inspection system was has been evaluated using ANSYS based modal and harmonic analysis. The inspection equipment need to be operated in high acceleration over 1G with short settling time. The computation and experiment shows that the supporting frame structure of the machine should have enough dynamic stiffness to reduce residual vibration caused by movement of the stages.
고속 밀링 주축용 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 제어기 설계

The demand of high speed machining is increasing because the high speed cutting provides high efficiency of process, short process time, improved metal removal capacityand better surface finish. Active magnetic bearings allow much high surface speed than conventional ball bearings and therefore greatly suitable for high speed cutting. The automatic control concept of magnetic bearing system provides ability of intelligent control of spindle system to increase accuracy and flexibility by means of adaptive vibration control. This paper describes a design and development of a milling spindle system which includes built-in motor with power 5.5 kW and maximum speed 70,000rpm, HSK-32C tool holer and active magnetic bearing system. Magnetic actuators are designed for satisfying static load condition. The Performances of manufactured spindle system was examined for its static and dynamic stiffness, load capacity, and rotational accuracy. This spindle was run up to 70,000rpm stably, which is 3.5 million DmN.

In designing AMBs (active magnetic bearings) for high-speed spindle system, the shaft is usually assumed as a rigid rotor. For automatic tool change process, there should be a tool clamping system with drawbar using spring or hydraulic force, and the drawbar in the spindle can be in various condition of support during design and manufacturing error. In this paper, the modal characteristics of drawbar in high-speed milling spindle system due to supporting stiffness between drawbar and shaft are analyzed by numerical method. The result shows enough stiff supports must be provided between shaft and drawbar to prevent occurring drawbar vibration lower than the natural frequency of 1^(st) bending mode of spindle.
