Polybenzimidazole (PBI) based membranes have evolved in literature as a popular membrane material for variousapplications in the past two decades because of their high temperature thermal durability, strong mechanical and tensileproperties, high glass transition temperature (Tg), ion conduction ability at elevated temperature (up to 200°C), oxidative orchemical durability along with robust network like structural rigidity, which make PBI membranes suitable for various potentialapplications in chemically challenging environments. Ion conducting PBI based membranes have been extensively utilizedin high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (HT-PEMFC). In addition, PBI based membranes have beenvastly utilized for the development of gas separation membranes and organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) membranes fortheir unique characteristics. This review will cover the recent progress and application of various types of flat sheet PBIbased membranes for HT-PEMFC, gas separation and OSN application.
치과기공실(齒科技工室)의 작업공정별(作業工程別) 소음(騷音)에 관한 연구(硏究)

Degree of noise by personal dental laboratory working process and degree of noise by complex dental laboratory working process were measured separtely. The time of exposure to noise greater than 70dB was analyzed. Then, the whole degree of noise in dental laboratory was estimated on the basis of afore-mentioned information. Questionaire were employed to investigate the mental, emotional and physiological effects of noise in dental technicians, The purpose of this study was to provide basic information on keeping dental techneicans who are exposed to noise pollution in good working condition and good health. Results obtained are as follows ; 1. Polishing process in each working part showed high degree of noise greater than 70dB in terms of degree of noise by personal working. 2. Degree of noise by complex working process in each working part was greater than that of personal working process. 3. Time of exposure to noise complex working process the part of porcelain 150min, partial denture 120 min, crown and bridge 100 min, full denture 80 min. 4. Degree of noise by time in dental laboratory was 80dB in general for polishing process and below 75dB for waxing process. 5. Effects of noise on mental and emotional state of dental technicians showed that they felt irritated every day(14%), irritated once in a while(29%) and easily ger mad(19%). 6. Effects of noise on heart and stomach were hyper-gastric acid(38%), gastric ulcer(11%), gastritis(5%), deuodenal ulcer(3%) and weak heart function(32%). 7. Effects of noise in the hearing ability were weak(39%), moderate(33%) and normal(14%) Data presented in this study demonstrated that noise in the dental laboratory exerts profound effect on dental technicians mentally, physiologically and emotionally, in light of the above results, therefore, it appears advisable to devots substantial on the management of working condition and put further(continuing) efforts in the investigation for reducing noise problem.

In this review, the approaches, properties, and elements involved in the formation of polymeric membranes for various materials are discussed. The present research emphasizes the proficiency in several membrane formation processes such phase inversion, interfacial polymerization, stretching, track etching, and electrospinning. Additionally, the obstacles and applicability of various application manufacturing processes are addressed. Various polymeric membranes are reviewed with regard to significant surface properties such as surface roughness, surface tension, surface charge and surface functional group. Additional enhancements of popular membrane formation processes like phase inversion and interfacial polymerization are required to ensure advancements in membrane efficiency. Analysing the possibilities of modern manufacturing practices like track etching and electrospinning is also crucial.
염료의 탈염/정제/농축처리용 분리막의 제조 및 특성평가

본 연구에서는 정밀여과 및 나노여과 분리막 시스템을 활용하여 염료 제조 시 필요한 탈염/정제/농축처리 기술을 개발하고 그에 따른 염료의 품질과 품질의 안정성을 향상시키며, 기존공정의 단수를 축소하여 생산성 향상, 인력저감 및 원재료의 비용을 감소하고자 하였다. 염료의 탈염/정제/농축처리시 염료의 다양한 농도에 적합한 분리막의 제조 및 가압식 막 element를 제작하고, 가압식 분리막 시스템에 맞는 막 모듈의 설계와 pilot-scale 시스템을 통해 염료의 처리수질 분석 및 운전인자를 도출하였다. Microfiltration and Nanofiltration membrane were prepared and properties of the membrane system were studied for the application of desaltingfrefiningiconcentrating process of dye production. The membrane system improved the quality of dye produce and productivity was enhanced due to reduction of processing steps and material cost. Membrane and pressure type membrane element in various dye concentration for using desaltingirefiningiconcentrating of dye processing were investigated.
