This study aims to analyze the integrated curriculum discourse reflected on the textbooks of early education curriculum studies, using the critical discourse analysis approach developed by N. Fairclough. Forty-one textbooks were selected and analyzed based upon three frames of critical discourse analysis text, discourse practice, and social practice. The text analysis revealed that 1) the meaning of integration was constructed in limited and tentative ways, 2) theoretical perspectives and interpretations were attributed to a single definition, the nation-level curriculum one, 3) nation-level curriculum implementation were prescribed, 4) the other curriculum models were put into obscure stance, and 5) various curriculum discourses were marginalized. The discourse analysis revealed that old-boy network mediated the social practice of text. The social practice analysis revealed that the normalized integrated curriculum ideology was expanded through nation-level curriculum and held hegemony. The implication of critical theory for future research of early childhood education was discussed. It was stressed that the recognition of nation/government- academism relationship is critical for future research. The limitations of this study and future research tasks were described. 본 연구에서는 유아교육 분야에서의 교육과정 구성과 운영의 핵심 논제인 통합교육과정의 의미 구성에 대한 비판적 담론분석을 시도하였다. 유아교육과정 대학 교재에서 다루어지고 있는 내용을 담론분석이라는 방법을 통해 유아교육에서 통합교육과정의 의미는 그 의미가 어떻게 구성되고 있는지를 중심으로, 담론의 생산과 소비 및 사회 구조에서의 통합교육과정의 의미는 어떻게 작용하고 있는지를 드러냄으로써, 유아교육에서 통합교육을 왜 어떻게 해야 하는지 대한 근본적인 질문으로 돌아가 현재를 진단하고 미래 지향적 통합교육과정의 목적과 방향에 대한 시사점을 찾는 데 목적을 두었다. 유아교육을 포함한 교육 일반에서 재개념화 논의의 이론적 기초가 되는 후기구조주의 관점을 취함으로써 연구방법은 기존의 언어학 내의 담론 분석과 푸코의 담론이론을 결합한 페어클로(Fairclough, 1998)가 제시한 텍스트 분석, 담론적 실천 분석, 사회적 실천 분석의 세 차원의 분석 틀을 사용하였다. 그 결과, 텍스트 분석에서는 제한적이면서도 동시에 개념적 혼란이 있는 통합의 의미들이 구성되는 가운데 이론적 관점과 해석은 교육과학기술부의 입장으로 단일 귀착되는 현상을 드러내 보였다. 또한 국가수준 교육과정 실행을 위한 처방으로 치닫고 여타 교육과정 모형의 입지를 불명료하게 만듦으로써 다양한 교육과정 담론을 주변화 시키고 있음을 드러냈다. 텍스트와 사회적 실천의 고리를 분석하는 담론 실천 분석에서는 학연이라는 고리의 작용을 지적했다. 마지막으로 사회적 실천의 분석에서는 학연의 고리가 국가수준 교육과정으로 규범화된 통합교육과정의 확산을 촉매하고 헤게모니 장악으로 연결시키는 구조를 드러냈다. 비판적 담론분석의 결과는 유아교육과정 논의의 다양성 확대의 중요성과 국가 권력에 대한 인식의 필요성에 비추어 논의되었고, 푸코이론의 한계 및 향후 연구과제에 대해서도 언급하였다.

초점 : 국내외 공공-민간 온라인 소통 활성화 현황 및 시사점 -영국 Power of Information Taskforce Report를 중심으로-

최근 공공-민간간 소통 활성화, 특히 온라인 시민참여 활성화를 위한 세계 각국의 노력이 지속되고 있다. 우리나라도 정보화 사업과 전자정부의 추진으로 온라인 시민참여의 기반은 마련되어 있다. 그러나 실질적인 시민의 참여 및 서비스 만족도는 낮은 것으로 지적되어 왔다. 본고에서 소개한 영국의 POI(Power of Information) TF의 25개 권고안과 영국 디지털참여국의 4대 원칙은 온라인 시민참여, 더 나아가 공공-민간간 소통 활성화를 위한 정책방안 마련에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다. 향후 시민참여 활성화를 위해서는 새로운 소통채널의 구축도 중요하지만 이미 구축된 소통채널의 이용률 제고를 위한 정책당국의 지속적인 관심과 노력이 필요하다.

본 증례의 환자는 만성적인 트림 증상과 함께 우울감, 불안감 및 즐거움의 상실, 식욕 감소, 불면, 피로 등 정신과적 증상을 뚜렷하게 호소하고 있었고, 우울증에 대한 적극적인 약물 치료와 함께 환자에게 트림을 하게 되는 과정에 대해 상세하게 설명하고, 학습화된 행동이라는 점을 인지시킴으로써정신과적 증상뿐 아니라 트림 증상까지 호전된 사례이다. 과도한 트림 증상을 보이는 환자들은 이 증상으로 인해 사회적 고립으로까지 이어질 수 있는 삶의 질 저하를 느끼기 때문에9) 트림 증상 자체를 심각하게 여기고, 임상의가 적극적인 치료를 고려하는 것이 필요하다. 현재까지 국내에서는 위상부 트림에 대한 정신과적 접근 증례는 없으며, 소화기내과에서 난치성 트림을 주소로 내원한 공기연하증에 대한 증례 보고를 1차례 했지만, 이 또한 정신과적 접근 방법에 대한 내용은 언급되어 있지 않다. 정신건강의학과 방문 환자 중에는소화기 증상을 가진 환자들이 많으며, 또한 트림을 하는 환자들에게서 흔히 동반되는 정신과적 질환을 치료하는 것이 만성 트림을 호전시키는 데 도움이 되므로, 임상의들의 정신과적 진단 및 치료에 대한 관심이 필요할 것으로 보인다. Belching is the audible escape of air from the esophagus into the pharynx. It is considered a disorder when the symptom is very frequent and causes significant distress to the patients. Excessive belching can be divided according to excessive supragastric and gastric belching. Gastric belching is usually physiological. In contrast, supragastric belching can be considered learned behavior. In addition, many psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, have been described in patients with supragastric belching and some patients have reported that their symptoms increased during stressful events. We report on a case of supragastric belching in a depressive patient and discuss its management through psychiatric approaches.

Antibacterial activities of isothiocyanates (ITCs) extracted from horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) root in liquid and vapor phases were evaluated against 5 dominant bacteria (2 strains of Bacillus sp., Straphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., and Enterobacter sp.) from jeotgal. ITCs in liquid and vapor phases exhibited potent antibacterial activities based on a disc diffusion method (liquid phase) and a disc volatilization method (vapor phase). ITCs minimum bactericidal concentrations in the liquid phase (broth dilution method) and vapor phase (disc volatilization method) ranged from 0.208±0.091 to 2.083±0.722 mg/mL and 0.078±0.000 to 1.875±0.722 mg/mL, respectively. ITCs in the vapor phase showed stronger antibacterial activities against all tested bacterial strains. ITCs extracted from horseradish root in the vapor phase can be used as a natural preservative to extend the shelf-life of jeotgal.
