The heat management of the in-wheel motor is the key challenge for an electric direct-drive in-wheel traction system. In this study, we carried out the analysis on the fluid flow and thermal characteristics of the motor under the effects of motor speed and heat generation. In the air cooling structure for the in-wheel motor, a contact surface on the housing is provided with a portion having protrusions to increase the heat transfer area. The cooling performance for the housing geometry having protrusions in the circumferential direction was investigated and analyzed. Therefore, we checked the feasibility of the air cooling system for in-wheel motor cooling.

As the world's population grows, the food industry becomes increasingly important. Among them, agriculture is an industry that produces stocks of people all over the world, which is very important food industry. Despite the growing importance of agriculture, however, a large number of crops are lost every year due to pests and malnutrition. So, we propose a plant anomaly detection system for managing crops incorporating deep learning and drones with various possibilities. In this paper, we develop a system that analyzes images taken by drones and GPS of the drone's movement path and visually displays them on a map. Our system detects plant anomalies with 97% accuracy. The system is expected to enable efficient crop management at low cost.

In this paper, we propose a model to detect crowdfunding scams, which have been reportedly occurring over the last several years, based on their project information and linguistic features. To this end, we first collect and analyze crowdfunding scam projects, and then reveal which specific project-related information and linguistic features are particularly useful in distinguishing scam projects from non-scams. Our proposed model built with the selected features and Random Forest machine learning algorithm can successfully detect scam campaigns with 84.46% accuracy.

An electric water pump for engine cooling system has an advantage which particularly in the cold start, the use of the electric water pump saves fuel and leads to a corresponding reduction in emissions. The canned type electric water pump without mechanical sealing elements was selected to meet the requirements for operational reliability and life. However, the electric water pump for internal combustion engine generates much more heat loss than for hybrid electric vehicle since it is operated by the electric power of high current and low voltage. In this study, the fluid flow and thermal characteristics of the canned type electric water pump as an inverter integrated water pump has been investigated under the effects of heat generation. The analysis conditions such as outdoor air temperature of 125℃, water pump speed of 6000 rpm, coolant temperature of 106℃ and coolant flow rate of 120 lpm was used as a standard condition. Therefore, flow fields and temperature distribution inside the water pump were obtained. Also, we checked the feasibility of the canned type electric water pump for engine cooling system.

B2B Market Place 상에서의 거래에서 나타나는 주요한 특징은 다품종 및 대량의 물품 거래가 n:n 거래 관계에 놓여있다는 점과 거래자가 원활한 거래 및 기업 내 관리를 위해 각자의 전자 카탈로그를 이용한 거래를 원한다는 점이다. 하지만 개별적인 전자 카탈로그 사용과 미흡한 표준안은 전자 카탈로그 상호 연계의 걸림돌이 되어 시장 형성의 걸림돌이 되고 있다. B2B Market Place는 표준 분류체계를 중심으로 거래 대상 상품을 재 분류하여 구매 당사자 간의 거래 대상 물품에 대한 상호 매핑을 지원하는 방법 등으로 이를 충족시키려 하고 있다. 하지만 요청되는 다량의 물품에 대해 매번 분류를 수행해야 하는 고비용의 작업이라는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 극복하기 위하여 기계학습 기법을 이용한 전자 카탈로그 상품 자동분류기를 모델링하고 이를 구현하는 것에 초점을 두었다. 상품의 속성별로 분류에 끼치는 영향력이 다를 것이라는데 착안하여 전자 카탈로그를 상품 단위로 재 모델링 하였으며 속성별 정보가 풍부하지 못한 점을 극복하기 위하여 속성값을 어휘 단위로 구분한 데이터를 추가 하는 확장 모델을 정의하였다. 또한 해당 모델을 학습시키기 위한 알고리즘으로는 속성별로 다른 가중치를 부여 할 수 있도록 확장된 Naive Bayesian Classifier를 고안하였다. 그리고 이를 B2B Market Place 상의 실 데이터에 적용하여 고안된 모델의 유효성을 검증하였다.

Novel Front End Module (FEM) with improved pedestrian protection is very important to reduce the severity of pedestrian injury. When a collision is happened, the FEM with downsized cooling module is required to reduce the risk of injury to the upper legs of adults and the heads of children. The FEM needs to have enough space (or distance) from hood to absorb the energy from any pedestrian collision. In this study, the performance of cooling module to cool the engine was investigated under height reduction. It is expected that the cooling module to meet the same cooling performance as conventional system needs for the improvement of system efficiency.
