In curing process of tire, contact and slip occurs between green tire and curing bladder. The curing process is a critical step in the manufacture of tires. In this investigation, curing bladder shaping is examined using a finite element method. Specifically, a finite element model between the inner part of green tire and the outer part of curing bladder is generated using contact element and curing bladder is generated using incompressible element. Numerical analysis are performed on two different bladder types, different overall outer diameters of curing bladder and different heights of curing bladder. Numerical results show that contact pressure is increased by using toroidal type of curing bladder, increasing overall diameter and increasing height of curing bladder. To obtain natural equilibrium carcass line, there is a requirement in increasing contact pressure of the section between side and bead.

In this paper, we present, based on a systematic job analysis, the definition, flowchart and description of Ship Building & Ocean Engineering Technician’s job in Ship Building & Ocean Engineering Industry for developing an Ship Building & Ocean Engineering education and training program in the context of Korea situation. In addition, it is suggested that the courses be directed toward job site-centered reform through conducting job analysis with experts in the environmental industry. serving new courses demanded by industries in practice and providing training programs for industries.

As a part of environmental pollution prevention and resources recycling, the regeneration of waste tire has been largely contributed to national industry. But, the worker has been evaded this regeneration process by reason of the best mischievous process condition among 3D industries. So, the first, the process condition of regenerating waste tire was analyzed. The second, the equipment or system was developed for the improvement of working strength and environment. The last, researchers intend to solve these problems.

This study has an innovative improvement of the ocher tiles production system that aims to resolve social issue of industrial waste and to meet the customer needs for environmental-friendly building materials. By changing a wet type cutting method to a dry type of ocher tiles production system, the three processes such as cleaning, dehydration, and drying can be removed in existing overall process of 17 steps. Accordingly, the application of the wet type cutting method, which is proposed in this study, makes an increase in ocher tiles production from 1,500 to 1,850 pieces per hour. In particular, industrial wastewater that was emerging as the biggest problem in environmental pollutants in the wet cutting method has been removed. In addition, the most serious problems of noise and dust from the operator side, while developing a device for the dry cutting method, are eliminated through the development of additional equipment.

When ironwork, especially steel roll coil, is transported to customers, land transportation and sea transportation are usually used. To transport steel roll coil fast and safe without damaging it, it is necessary that the steel roll coil has to be in stable condition. These days, apitong, which is all imported from overseas, is being used to support the steel roll coil, but because of apitong's rigidity, it damages the coil and when the coil is damaged, it is hard to fix. Due to the fact that recovering damage of the coil is almost impossible, we have to find the new type of dunnage that can substitute the apitong. In this paper, the arrays and the kinds of reinforcements, and rectangular type and trapezoid of dunnage will be talked about. The phenomenon of rolling and the impact when the carrier start moving and stop will be talked about as well. Therefore, we are going to develop a dunnage that does not damage ironwork and has better recovery and softness than existing apitong dunnage.

Gas turbines for generation are operated under high temperatures, high pressures and in corrosive environments for long periods of time. This environment causes serious damage to these parts. Therefore, the material, coating, and cooling technology used with a gas turbine are important factors with regard to turbine blade development. One method that can be used to protect a product from harsh conditions is the coating technology. A turbine blade undergoes very aggressive thermal stress and experiences high-temperature fatigue. In order to reduce the surface temperature of the components and protect the blade from high-temperature flames, a thermal barrier coating (TBC) is applied to its substrate. This study confirms the applicability of an inspection system for the turbine blade coating layer using an artificial heat source.
