An experimental investigation was carried out to study injection characteristics of an electronically controlled low pressure valve for hydrogen fueled engine. A low pressure injection valve and an operation circuit for electronic control were designed and manufactured. Hydrogen injection pressure was measured to elucidate the poppet valve behavior. A spark shadowgraphy was employed using injector trigger pulse and time delay circuit, to clarify the injection valve mechanism.<br/>

The world emission regulations for motorcycle become increasingly strict recently. Considering both performance and product costs, the use of catalytic aftertreatment to reduce harmful gases in the exhaust streams of 2-stroke small engine is becoming widespread. The primary exhaust gas pollutants are carbon monoxide(CO) and hydrocarbons(HC) for vehicles equipped with 2-stroke engine. 본 논문에서는 다축의 모터 동력을 필요로 하는 전기자동차에 있어서 각 모터를 구동시키기 위한 모터제어기를 개발하고자 한다. 20㎾급 IPMSM 모터를 구동하기 위해서 32비트 고성능 DSP 프로세서로 벡터제어 알고리즘을 적용하고, 모터의 회전 정보와 위치 정보를 얻기 위하여 레졸버 위치센서를 적용하였으며, 냉각성능을 높이기 위하여 수냉식으로 IGBT를 직접 냉각시켜 방열하는 구조로 설계하였다. 제안된 제어기의 특성을 얻기 위하여 MATLAB 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, 시제품을 제작하여 유용성을 검증하였다.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation System is an efficient method for reducing NOx emission from diesel engines and it is cost effective both in installations and its performances. On the other hand, it has demonits such as increasing wear on the engine components, staining the intake system and deteriorating the engine system oil due to the inclusions of soots in the recirculating gas. In order to solve those problems, the experiments are carried out with the diesel engine of two cylinders, 12ps×1800rpm employing a proper filtering device so called scrubber in way of gas recirculating system. From the experimenis, the NOx reduction is found to be significant, and the emission characteristics jf soot showed a tendency of suppression which is thought to be due to the cooled and damped recirculting gas affected by scrubber.<br/>
