The result of springback analysis is dependent on the stress from the forming analysis. In explicit FEM. artificial stress relaxation by the stress wave due to discrete contact algorithm is the main reason of inaccurate stress result in forming analysis. However, the accuracy of stress result can be improved by choosing suitable analysis parameters. In this study, the influences of analysis parameters on the stress result in the forming analysis are investigated. 2D draw bending benchmark problem of the NUMSHEET'93 is used to show how to choose suitable analysis parameters. Also, the springback result of the s-rail benchmark problem of the NUMISHEET'96 is presented.
