GSMP를 이용한 OBS의 병렬형 제어 및 연결설정 지연의 측정

Optical burst switching (OBS) overcomes the inefficient resource usage of optical circuit switching and minimizes the optical buffering requirement of optical packet switching. General switch management protocol (GSMP) is an open interface between a label switch and a controller, and it provides connection, configuration, performance, event management and synchronization. GSMP open interface in the OBS network allows the control plane to evolve independently from the transport plane. The introduction of open interface will cause the connection setup delay because of additional processing overhead of open interface protocol. In this paper, we applied the GSMP open interface to the OBS control, and proposed the parallel connection control mechanism using the centralized connection server. Our parallel control mechanism will reduce the connection setup delay in comparison with the traditional switch-by-switch control mechanism. We implemented OBS control protocol and GSMP interface to validate the realization of the parallel control mechanism, and measured the connection setup delays of switch-by-switch and parallel controls.

광대역 엑세스 망을 위한 연결 제어 프로토콜의 연동 모델

B-ISDN 환경에서 전송 시스템은 가입자망과 국간 중계망으로 구성되며, 가입자망 내에 도입된 광대역 엑세스 망은 다양한 유형의 가입자들을 서비스 노드로 집선하는 기능을 수행한다. ITU-T의 SG13에서는 광대역 엑세스 망과 서비스 노드 사이에서 ATM 자원의 동적인 할당 및 해제를 위하여 연결제어 프로토콜의 표준화를 수행하고 있다. ATM 연결의 설정을 위한 연결 제어 프로토콜과 신호 프로토콜의 연동 기능은 서비스 노드에서 수행되며, ITU-T에서는 순차적 연동 모델을 채택하고 있다. 순차적 연동 모델은 SN에서 각 프로토콜의 절차가 순차적 방식으로 연동되므로 연결 지연이 크다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 엑세스 망의 도입으로 인한 연결 설정 지연을 최소화하기 위하여 병렬형으로 수행되는 연동 모델을 제시하였다. 그리고 순차적 연동 모델과 본 논문에서 제안한 병렬형 연동 모델의 연결 설정 지연 및 완료비에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션에서 사용된 워크로드 파라미터는 RACE MAGIC 프로젝트의 결과를 적용하였다. In B-ISDN environment, various subscribers are concentrated into a service node via a broadband access network. The SG13 of ITU-T is standardizing a connection control protocol which provides dynamic allocation of ATM resources between an access network and a service node. To establish an ATM connection, interworking functions between the connection control protocol and the signaling protocol are performed at the service node. ITU-T adopts a sequential interworking model. In this paper, we propose a parallel interworking model which minimizes the overall connection setup delay by introducing the access network. Using the simulation, we compare our proposed parallel model with the existing sequential model in terms of connection setup delay and completion ratio. The workload parameters of RACE MAGIC project are applied to the analysis and simulation.

If we can say that the unconventional way of defining literary forms in the nineteenth century, especially in the second half of the century, means a sort of literary or cultural evolution, then we can propose that this unconventional evolution came along with literary activities being characterized by a confusion of forms or an indistinction of forms. One of the most distinct aspects of the literary activities of that time must be through a double vision of the novel and theater: understanding drama through novels, novel-writing based on the scenic method, etc.... This specific general tendency of the literary movement makes us approach Henry James with a new perspective. The question of drama was roused and activated ironically by the novelists of this era and their dramatic criticisms and playwritings.Henry James, who was generally known as a novelist but whose ardour for the theatre never waned all through his life, can be brought up as a real and problematic case for a double vision of the novel and the theatre. In this article, we well study aspects of the confusion of mixed forms of literary genres that will guide us towards certain salient aspects of integration of different kinds of literary forms, especially through Summersoft, Covering End and The High Rid The transtional moment, a moment of crisis, from one crisis to another reveals a certain vital aspect of literary creation. Here we'll examine the characteristics of this vision of integration: towards expansion or towards restraint. It is the dynamic force of transformation which can be interpreted as vitally essential in expanding or restricting the framework of literary genres a priori defined as novel, drama, etc. Our main task is to evaluate these characteristic aspects of literary forms: collision, tension and intervention with respect to various types of integration in the novel(or short story) and dramas of James, and to suggest a new specific perspective in the study of Henry James.

Aesthetic Consciousness and Literary Logic in the Jamesian Transatlantic Perspective: Towards a Dialectic of “a big Anglo Saxon total”

The aesthetic attitude, in general or in particular, represented in matters of taste through aesthetic ideas and value judgments postulates a certain literary logic. And this literary logic reveals itself a sense of morality,philosophy, or moral aesthetic consciousness through the moments of act and thought demonstrated in the characters invented in literary works. Henry James, among many others, offers a very special cultural paradigm for transnational argument because of his diverse ways of shaping transatlantic relations in terms of aesthetic consciousness. And this international paradigm produced varied expressions referring to Henry James as “an American expatriate,” “an Anglicized American artist,” “a Europeanized aesthete,” “a cosmopolitan intelligence,” “a bohemian cosmopolitan”to designate his literary career and its characteristics shaped in Europe. Such expressions resonate with Transatlantic Sketches, James’s first collection on travel and cultures in 1875 which heralded his long “expatriation”in terms of self-distantiation. James’s temperament of mind, far from being always identified with shared values within an ideological framework, never avoided friction with fixed ideas but rather absorbed it fully for another friction which intervenes in his house of fiction. My question arises here regarding his cultural belonging or dislocation:where is the place of his mind or what could be his ultimate destination?In this essay, I’d like to define a place or rather the place of James’s literary mind by proving a certain “sympathetic justice” for his literary logic. For this purpose, I’ll try to examine: how James used transatlantic perspective, a spatio-temporal assessment to formulate his moral aesthetic consciousness; and how the aesthetic framework functions in assessing his literary logic of aesthetic consciousness. To start with the first argument, I’ll analyze some essential aspects of aesthetic attitude of his characters to postulate a persona capable of theorizing James’s aestheticism conditioned by the transatlantic context. And for the second argument, I’ll examine how the persona functions in formulating a proper cultural stance of James’s aesthetic consciousness in transatlantic perspective to illuminate the way of how Jamesian individuality reflects the American mind. This process of theorizing a place of James’s own will lead, I hope, to our discovering James’s ultimate destination on the assumption that it’ll prove or create a certain “sympathetic justice” for his humanist aestheticism,a Jamesian absolute morality.

‘明末小品’과 李贄散文의 ‘小品’적 특성 고찰

If proses, which comprise most of modern writings, are western essays, ‘Xiaopin’ would be the equivalent of that for Chinese literature. Although ‘Xiaopin’ is less popular than main stream literary work such as poetry, novels and plays, the Chinese essay has not only greatly influenced China, but also Chosun. The prose influenced many Chosun writers such as Yeun-Am Pack Ji Won and was popular amongst various significant figures in the History of Korean-Chinse Literature. It later gave rise to the restoration of literary style. Afterwards, Xiaopin attracted attention in modern China by Lin yu-tang and Luxun’s Controversy of Xiaopin. The Late Ming Essays were a unique prose during the Ming Dynasty which was brought forward by the era's demands for the new. The characteristics of the content of the Late Ming Essays were the Pursuit of True Mind and Resistance whilst the characteristics of its form is that it was a free form of writing where there is a sense of humor or satire in the writing and that it may even use profane language. Although the Late Ming Essays are generally known to have begun during the Yuan Hong-da, this study sees Li Zhi's proses as its origin. This is because Li Zhi had directly affected and many of his literary characteristics conform to the characteristics of the Late Ming Essays. This study seeks to find Li Zhi as the writer who started a new style of writing and Li Zhi's phase as a Xiaopin writer in Chinese literature.

고온.내산성 Bacillus sp. SJ-15를 이용한 음식물 쓰레기의 호기적 퇴비화

고온 내산성 미생물을 퇴비에서 분리하고, 생리 및 생화학적 특성을 조사하여 Bacillus sp. SJ-15로 명명하였다. 생장을 위한 최적 온도와 pH는 각각 $55^{\circ}C$와 5.0 이었다. 분리된 SJ-15 균주는 음식물쓰레기의 고온 고속 퇴비화 공정에 적용하였다. 퇴비화 과정에서 16시간 만에 최대 생균수인 $9.2{\times}10^9/ml$를 나타내었다. 본 퇴비화 공정은 개시 100일 후에 약 88%의 감량율을 나타내었고, 퇴비성분의 농도를 분석한 결과 본 공정을 통해 생산된 퇴비는 염분을 제외하면 유기질 비료의 기준을 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. A thermoacidophilic bacterium was isolated from the compost and designated as Bacillus sp. SJ-15 by physiological and biochemical characteristics. The optimum temperature and pH for growth were at $55^{\circ}C$ and pH 5.0, respectively. The strain SJ-15 was adapted in process of accelerated high-temperature composting of garbage. The highest viable cell count of composting process reached to $9.2{\times}10^9/ml$ in 16 hours. After running times of 100 days, the composting process showed a reduction rate of approximately 88%, and the concentrations of components were sufficiently high or low to satisfied the standard of organic compost except for salinity.

李贄의 思惟方式에 관한 考察-‘李贄의 矛盾’ 再解析

It is a tragic irony of history that Li Zhi, who represented the 'new' in a transitional period in history, was eliminated by the antiquated system and long-established conventionality. He died dishonorably in prison only after severe denunciation and various false accusations. Futhermore, his life achievements have been distorted from his true natures because of the polarized analysis of him - an eccentric mad man or a genius with great foresight. To refrain from emphasizing a mere unilateral aspect of Li Zhi, this research attempts to unveil Li Zhi's way of thinking and reasoning rather than examining his political ideologies, literary works, and ethical ideas. Without understanding how his mind works it is impossible to understand the contradictions in his actions such as being interested in politics even after retiring from a government post, his views on loyalty and justice - being loyal to the king whilst remaining faithful to his individual conception of justice, living in a buddhist temple and criticising confucianism whilst considering himself to be a confucian scholar. The entire study process took place in a different perspective from existing studies, refraining from methods which emphasize on Li Zhi's fragmentary features and emboss only one aspect of the person. The study, in an attempt to understand the Li Zhi's contradictions, discloses the synthetic idea and characteristics seen in Li Zhi's works.
