일과 가정의 관계에 관한 연구 : 企業文化論으로서의 小考 as Corporate Culture

Recently, many researchers tries to explain relations between work and family, especially, the appearance of these articles in an influential like the Harvard Business Review strongly reinforces the status quo. Du Pont has already built Corporte Work and Family Comittee in July 1987 and so Levi Strauss does, in order to study and make recommendations on work and family issues, with emphasis on child care. Because work/family conflicts were thought to be having a major effect on affirmative action results. In short, we value both business and family. So, the forms of everyday work flexibility are much more important than more publicized forms such as mommy tracks and daddy tracks, the most important need for many employees is not to get away from work, through providing flexibilities such as ① work restructuring, ② the freedom to take time off, ③ part-time work, and ④ job sharing. Corporate mission has also been changed : Johnson & Johnson, which see its 40-year-old corporate credo as central to its culture, recently added the statement, "We must be mindful of ways to help our employees fulfill their family obligation." Du Pont has developed a mission statement that commits it, in part, to "making changes in the workplace and fostering changes in the community that a sensitive to the changing family unit and the increasingly diverse work force." There are tendencies to show these issues in Korea. For examples, 'Another Culture' published 「Housewife, her Deadlock and Open」, Shinsegae Department Store starts a movement with the slogan of "the praise of Family", and Hyundai Department Store -"the praise of Housewife." And United Technology in Korea-the praise of 'Husband' (as the head of a family) with the title of that 'Perhaps, Do you know anyone like this man?' Relations between Work and Family are as follows; ① one of welfare programs, ② corporate value change, ③ on the women's side, or man's side. Work and Family issues will make the corporate mission and corporate culture to be changed. Also, the issues don't set limits to Women any more, furthermore not to men, and include both sides. So solving the problems of the issues is up to how to extend role of men and role of women.

리더쉽에 관한 理論的 考察

Poor management and internal weaknesses are a greater threat to organizational survival than the highly publicized external threats. Statistics from recent years make this point more evident : "of every one hundred new business establishments started, approximately fifty, or one half, go out of business within two years. By end of five years, only one third of the original one hundred will still be in business." Most of the failures can be attributed to ineffective leadership. This paper is designed to review the theories of leadership : (1) the traits theory-Chester I. Barnard and Ralph M. Stogdill ; (2) the acceptance theory-the zone of acceptance and Characteristics of a good instruction ; (3) the behavioral theory the Ohio State Studies, the Michigan Studies, and the managerial grid ; (4) the situational theory Fiedler's contingency model and path-goal leadership model (Martin Evans and Robert House). The leadership process (LP) is a function of the traits(t), the acceptance(a), the behavior(b), and other situational variables(s), that is , LP=f(t, a, b, s). It is important to note that this equation make no mention of any particular type of organization.

부산 외국어 대학교 영어교육의 실태 및 제안 : A Description of the Realities, Problems, and Alternatives

The purpose of this research is to investigate the perceived effectiveness of English Education at The Pusan University of Foreign Studies (PUFS). It was also to identify current problems and suggest alternatives to these problems. From the many English courses offered, three subjects were examined in detail: English Reading, Lab English, and English Conversation. These courses were chosen because they are core subjects which all the students of PUFS must take regardless of their major. The study analyzed data according to the following variables: 1) students' satisfaction level, 2) effectiveness of teaching methods, and 3) effectiveness of teaching materials. The findings are based on a sample of 191 students (500 students for English Conversation), 18 Korean instructors, and 10 American instructors. Data were collected through interviews and written questionnaires. The study found that students are very inhere:;trod in improving both Basic Interpersonal Communicative Skills (BICS) and Cognitive/Academic Language Proficiency (CALP) in English. Although students stated that learning English is very important and that they want to increase the length and number of English classes they attend, the majority of the students expressed negative attitudes and sometimes ambivalent attitudes toward the effectiveness of English Education at PUFS. The frequency of negative attitudes was much higher in regards to English Reading and English Lab courses than to Conversation courses. According to teacher and student responses, this may be attributed to the use of traditional grammar-translation teaching methods, with teacher-centered and whole-class activities predominating. English Lab class is entirely based upon the Audiolingual Method which stresses the mechanistic aspects of language learning and language use through dialogues and drills, pattern practice, repetition and memorization. Students ma)'be unable to transfer skills acquired through the Audiolingual Method to real communication outside the classroom, and they stated that the experience of studying through audiolingual procedures is boring and unsatisfying Students also reported that the teaching materials used in these classes were not appropriate for their proficiency levels and/or academic needs. In contrast, the frequency of negative attitudes towards English Conversation courses was much lower. Compared to the Reading and Lab courses. students reported having more opportunities to participate in Conversation courses resulting in a more active role in the classroom. However, some variables showed negative resulty. Students responded that they felt pressure and anxiety in expressing themselves in English and also reported that small group activities are too often dominated by a small number of confidents students. Over all, the results are not conclusive as to the absolute effectiveness of English Education at PUFS. There results suggest areas where improvements could be made.

Time of Sept. 16, 1985 said that "What is killing the trees of Europe? It must de something in the air, or acid rain partially responsible." Studies show that precipitation has become more acidic since the onset of the Industrial Revolution in the mid-18th century. There is little doubt that civilization is facing ecological problems especially pollution around the world. So ecology and environmental quality are of interest to all people. This paper focuses on business in an ecological system and how business is affected by ecological issues. Ecological issues can be condensed into a few guidelines for business. As society's major economic institution for production of good and services, business cannot ignore ecology. It must live in harmony with nature. In order to do so, it needs to observe the following guidelines. To change corporate objectives and values. To keep the legal regulations of environmental improvement. To develope business ethics. To change corporate organization; Public Relations Department for environment improvement/employment of outsider director for environment improvement To design future facilities and activities for ecological harmony. Included is the obligation for innovation to create better ways to live in harmony with the environment. Consumption saving and demarketing. Technology Assessment and Environment Impact Assessment.

기존의 객체 지향 모델링 방법론과 실시간 객체 지향 모델링 방법론의 비교 및 분석

OMT(Object-Oriented Modeling Technique)는 모든 소프트웨어 시스템, 특히 실시간 시스템을 위한 객체 지향 모델링 방법론이다. 그러나, OMT는 실시간 시스템을 표현하는데 충분하지 못하다. ROOM(Real-time Object-Oriented Modeling)은 실시간 시스템을 개발하기 위한 실시간 객체지향 방법론이다. ROOM 모델링의 개념은 실시간 시스템의 특별하고 직관적인 영역이다. 또한 ROOM은 개념적인 프레임워크이고 개발 진행 과정에서 비연속성을 제거한 추상 모델링을 모델링으로 선택한다. 그리고 ROOM 개발 과정은 높은 상호작용적인 컴퓨터 기반과 빠른 실행을 지원한다. 본 연구에서는 두 모델링 방법론, 즉 OMT와 ROOM을 비교, 설명한다. 그리고 각 모델링으로 실시간 소프트웨어 개발을 할 때, 장ㆍ단점을 설명한다. All data in real world have time-dependent features being changing following temporal flow from creation in specific temporal point. The study of storing these real world data into a database and administering them have been accomplished in temporal database field. In this paper, we analyze the meaning of time in database and temporal aspects that universal relational database don't include, being subdivided into temporal system, historical system, temporal expression in a system, temporal dimension, temporal operation, temporal variables, indeterminacy and temporal indices, etc. Also, we explain several problems that are able to be solved by introduction of temporal conception in universal database

전자화폐의 발전방향과 각국 동향
