Elastic-plastic fracture toughness J<SUB>IC</SUB> can be used as an effective design criterion in elastic plastic fracture mechanics. Most of these systems are operated at high temperature and J<SUB>IC</SUB> values are affected by temperatuere. therefore, the J<SUB>IC</SUB> value at high temperature must be determined for use of integrity evaluation and designing of such systems. Elastic-plastic fracture toughness J<SUB>IC</SUB> tests were performed on SA516/70 carbon steel plate and test results were analyzed according to ASTM E 813-87, ASTM E 813-89 and ASTM E 1152-87. Safety and integrity are required for reactor pressure vessels because, they are operated in high temperature. there are single specimen method, which used as evaluation of safety and integrity for reactor pressure vessels. In this study, elastic-plastic fracture toughness(J<SUB>IC</SUB>) and J-△a of SA 516/70 steel used as reactor pressure vessel steel are measured and evaluated at room temperature, 150℃, 250℃ and 370℃ according to unloading compliance method.

Productivity analysis of physician is one of essential factors for the optimal health manpower planning. Among 690 physicians operating clinic and registered on the Kyeongsangnamdo Medical Association, 623 physicians were studied with a structural questionaire from April 1 to May 31, 1990. This study covers the general characteristics and productivity of physicians and attempts to find relevant determinants of their productivity through stepwise multiple regression analysis based on collected data. The mar results were as follows. First, physicians were more prevalent $35{\sim}44$ group (30.2%) in age, male (95.8%) in sex, specialist (76.5%) in specialization,'city (78.0%) in geographical location. Age group of 35-54 and specialist were mere prevalent in cities than in counties, while age group of 25-44 and 55 over and general practitioner in counties (p<0.001). Second, daily outpatients load of all physician were 77.1 persons on average. Age group of $35{\sim}44$ had the most outpatient load (90.3 persons) among all age group, $6{\sim}10$ years group (94.2 persons) in years of duration of practice, 11 hours per day group (83.4 persons) in working hours per day. Specialists had more outpatient load (82.6 persons) than general practitioners (61.1 persons) and physicians in cities had more (80.2 persons) than physicians in counties (66.3 persons). Daily average outpatient load of physicians were significantly different by their age, speciality, number of assistants and years of practice (p<0.001) and working location (p<0.05), but not significantly different by working hours per day of physician (p>0.1). Third, the productivity of physicians operating clinic were significantly affected by the three factors-number of assistants of physician, age of physician and duration of practice at the current clinic. Age of physician had negative regression coefficient.

An efficient microbial control system was introduced into a garlic peeling system using pressurized water in order to improve the quality and the shelf-life of peeled garlic. High microbial density of the spoiled peeled garlic and the water used for peeling and washing indicated that an efficient microbial control system is necessary far the peeling system. Though Pseudomonas spp. and Penicillium spp. were closely related to the spoilage of peeled garlic, the spoilage of peeled garlic was thought to be caused mainly by nonspecific increase in microbial density. The shelf-life of the garlic peeled by pressurized water was longer than that of the garlic peeled by pressurized air, and the degree of damage had great effect on the shelf-life of peeled garlic. Ozonated water was effective in decreasing the microbial contamination and in increasing the shelf-life of peeled garlic. Based on the findings of the study, following improvements were made to the garlic peeling system using pressurized water; 1) the water circulation system was modified in order to completely separate the water for washing from the water for garlic peeling, 2) filtration and cooling equipments were introduced into the circulation system of the water for peeling, and 3) an ozone generator which could continuously supply ozonated water (dissolved ozone concentration of 0.4 ppm) was attached to the circulation system of the water for washing.
