일한 기계 번역에서 진행형의 번역처리

본 논문은 일한기계번역에서 일본어 진행표현 "ている" 형태로부터 한국어 대역어의 선정과정에서 발생하는 애매성을 해소하기 위하여 연구한 것이다. 대부분의 일한 기계 번역 시스템은 양국어의 문법적인 유사성에 기초하여 어휘적인 단계의 처리만으로 고품질의 번역이 가능한 직접번역방식을 채용하고 있다. 그러나, 직접 번역방식에 기초한 일한 기계번역에서는 술부에 존재하는 "ている" 형태의 상적인 의미를 구별할 수 있는 방법론이 아직 제안되지 않았다. 일본에서 "ている" 형태는 동작진행과 상태진행을 모두 나타내지만 한국어에서는 "고 있다"와 "어 있다"로 나누어 표기한다. 양 언어간의 상적인 의미 대응은 간단하지 않지만, 술부의 의미정보, 부사와 부사어의 의미정보 등을 이용하여 "ている"형태의 상적인 의미를 결정하는 것이 가능하다. "ている"형태의 적절한 대역어 선정을 위하여, 사전 속의 모든 일본어 술어에 다섯 종류의 의미코드를 입력한다. 즉, "1:동작진행만으로 사용되는 술어", "2:일반적으로는 동작진행으로 사용되지만, 수동인 경우에는 상태진행의 형태로도 사용되는 술어", "3:상태진행으로만 사용되는 술어", "4: 동작진행, 상태진행의 구별이 애매한 술어", "5:기타"등의 상적인 의미분류코드를 술어별로 입력한다. 그리고 "2", "4"형태의 술어로부터 진행형을 구별하기 위하여 부사와 부사어를 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험에는 아사히 신문의 기사 중에서 임의로 약 15,000문을 추출하여 이용하였다. 제안한 방법은 실험문장에서 83.6%의 성공률을 보였으며, 단순히 동작진행과 상태진행, 기타만으로 나누어 처리하던 종전 시스템에 비하여 약 5%정도 더 좋은 결과가 얻어졌다. This paper describes how to disambiguate the aspectual meaning of Japanese expression "-te iru" in Japanese-Korean machine translation. Due to grammatical similarities of both languages, almost all Japanese-Korean MT systems have been developed under the direct MT strategy, in which the lexical disambiguation is essential to high-quality translation. Japanese has a progressive aspectual marker "-te iru" which is difficult to translate into Korean equivalents because in Korean there are two different progressive aspectual markers: "-ko issta" for "action progressive" and "-e issta" for "state progressive". Moreover, the aspectual system of both languages does not quite coincide with each other, so the Korean progressive aspect could not be determined by Japanese meaning of "-te iru" alone. The progressive aspectual meaning may be partially determined by the meaning of predicates and also the semantic meaning of predicates may be partially restricted by adverbials, so all Japanese predicates are classified into five classes: the 1st verb is used only for "action progressive", 2nd verb generally for "action progressive", but occasionally for "state progressive", the 3rd verb only for "state progressive", the 4th verb generally for "state progressive", but occasionally for "action progressive", and the 5th verb for the others. Some heuristic rules are defined for disambiguation of the 2nd and 4th verbs on the basis of abverbs and abverbial phrases. In an experimental evaluation using more than 15,000 sentances from "Asahi newspapers", the proposed method improved the translation quality by about 5%, which proves that it is effective in disambiguating "-te iru" for Japanese-Korean machine translation.

일한 기계 번역에서 가변 순서화 양상 자질 테이블을 이용한 한국어 술부 생성

It is said that Japanese and Korean grammar have many similar features. Using these similarities, we have developed direct translation method by which a deep level analysis of syntax and semantics between two languages can be omitted. Even in the direct translation for the very similar language pair, however there are still a lot of problems that have to be solved for high-quality translation. Out of them we only focus on the predicate translation, whose difficulty is caused not only by complex conjugation but also by the inconsistent syntactic category and the different relative order of modal expressions between two languages. To solve the problems, this paper propose a table-driven predicate generation in which a variable order modality-feature ordering and lexicalizing table(called VOMFOLT) plays an important role to map Japanese predicates into their Korean equivalents via abstract pivot of symbolic modality features.

접경지역의 지속가능한 보전과 이용을 위한 생태계 건강성 지수 적용 및 평가

This study assessed the ecological health of border areas using the ecological health index and suggested Indicators for maintaining and promoting ecological values. We analyzed the change trends, pressures, and resilience of ecosystems and services in border areas, and identified their current status and sustainability. The main findings were: (1) ecological assets and ecosystem services in border areas could be compared through ecosystem health assessment; (2) it can be used to set priorities for management and conservation by identifying the relative importance and vulnerability of ecosystems and ecosystem services in each border area; and (3) the index presented in this study can be judged to have explanatory power for the characteristics of border areas and ecosystem health when compared to previous studies. Limitations of this study include the lack of literature and statistical data at the local government level and the resulting limited application of evaluation methods, which limited direct regional comparisons. To overcome the research limitations, further studies are needed, such as establishing ecological information in border areas, mapping and assessment of ecosystem services, and developing and applying assessments that reflect the opinions and participation of various stakeholders. This study was the first attempt to assess the health of ecosystems and ecosystem services in border areas and provided an important baseline for future changes in border areas. In the future, it will be helpful in national and local government policies and ecological assetecosystem management by supplementing insufficient information and presenting clear goals.

손 인식과 동작 추적을 통한 증강현실 인터페이스

In this paper, we propose hand motion recognition method based on HSV color model for augmented reality applications. First, a whole image is segmented into area of foreground and background with the difference between a input image and the trained background image obtained from the fixed camera. Foreground is region of interest for recognition hand. Then, entity within region of interest is converted into HSV color space from RGB color space. A hand-arm area is segmented using thresholding of H value. Next, the center point of palm are extracted using distance transformation matrix, and number of fingers is counted as information for augmented reality applications. Finally we have implemented augmented reality system that renders virtual objects out of fingertips and has controls over a variety of fingers motion. 본 논문에서는 증강현실 응용을 위한 HSV 색상모델 기반의 손동작 인식 기법을 제안한다. 손동작 인식을 위해 고정된 카메라로부터 얻어진 배경 영상과 실시간 영상간의 차이 연산을 이용해 전경과 배경을 분리하고, 전경을 손 인식을 위한 관심영역으로 인식한다. 다음은 관심영역 내의 개체를 RGB에서 HSV 색상영역으로 변환하고, H-임계값을 이용하여 손-팔 영역을 분리한다. 거리 변환 행렬을 이용하여 손의 중심점을 검출하고, 증강현실 응용을 위한 정보로 사용 될 손가락 개수를 카운트한다. 마지막으로 손 끝점에 가상의 객체를 나태내고, 다양한 손동작에 따라 제어를 하는 증강현실 시스템을 구현하였다.

Hypoparathyroidism is usually the result of an inadvertent surgical removal of all the parathyroid glands, In some instances, not all the tissues are removed, but the remainder undergoes vascular supply compromise secondary to the fibrotic changes in the neck after surgery, Previously, the surgery for hyperthyroidism was the most frequent cause of acquired hypoparathyroidism. Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is a relatively rare disease that is characterized by hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to a parathyroid hormone deficiency of an unknown cause, It usually develops at a young age, and shows various clinical symptoms and signs accompanied with hypocalcemia. In addition, it is rarely associated with polyglandular autoimmune syndrome during the follow-up. Hypocalcemia and idiopathic hypoparathyroidism associated with labor and lactation are rarely reported condition previously. We here describe a case of a woman in whom the symptomatic severe hypocalcemia appeared after her delivery. We reviewed all the previously reported cases and suggest a possible physiological explanation for the association between pregnancy, lactation, and the appearance of symptomatic hypocalcemia.

동학·동학농민전쟁과 여성

동학의 여성관을 조선후기 정치ㆍ경제ㆍ사회ㆍ문화 등 역사 전반에 걸쳐 분출된 모순과 그 해결을 둘러 싼 변동의 역사 속에서 파악하고자 하였다. 또한 동학농민전쟁 중 농민군이 제시한 폐정개혁안의 ‘청춘과부는 개가를 허할 사’라는 조항과 전쟁이라는 경험이 민중ㆍ민족의 일원으로서의 여성의 역사에 초래했던 변동의 실상과 성격은 반제ㆍ반봉건이라는 당대의 시대적 과제와의 연관하에서 해명하고자 하였다. 즉 동학과 동학농민전쟁에서 제기된 여성관ㆍ여성문제를 조선후기 이래 한말까지 사회경제적 변동이 가져 온 해체기적ㆍ이행기적 양상 및 근대화ㆍ자주화라는 우리 근대사의 시대적 과제와 연관지어 살펴보고자 했다. This study examined the points of view regarding to the feminine issues embedded in the teachings of Donghak, and the female figures who were heavily involved in the religious and political activities of the Donghak faction. The transitional nature of the time period, and the obvious objectives for the Korean people who needed to achieve modernization and independence at the time by themselves, were most dominantly considered in this research.
