Sleep and Epilepsy either represent the opposite and independent spectrum of episodic manifestations from brain or closely interact with each other. Sleep or sleep deprivation may provoke epileptic seizures or activate epileptiform discharges in epilepsy patients whereas epilepsy may alter the sleep structure. Sleep stages are also known to influence pathophysiology of seizures in terms of ictogenesis. In this review, the impact of sleep on epilepsy as well as that of epilepsy on sleep are presented. Additionally the interaction between sleep and epilepsy will be discussed. This review will also comment on the differential diagnosis between nocturnal or sleep-related epilepsy and various sleep disorders. Finally, clinical application of the above perspectives of sleep and epilepsy will be suggested for the purpose of a better management of epilepsies.

The prevalence of microprocessor-based controllers in automotive systems has greatly increased the need for tools which can be used to validate and test control systems over their full time range of operation. The objective of this paper is to develope the real time simulator of anti-lock braking system using hardware-in-the-loop simulationbased on a personal computer. By use of this simulator, the analyses of commercial electronic control unit as well as the validation of the developed control logics for ABS were performed successfully. The simulator of this research can be applied to development of more advanced control system, such as traction control cystem,vehicle dynamic control system and etc.<br/>

In order to perform a vehicle driving simulation test in laboratory for the electronic control unit(ECU) analysis of anti-lock brake system(ABS), it is necessary to simulate the wheel speed signal which is to be controlled for the various road and driving conditions. The speed signal from the real wheel speed sensor is not only for the speed calculation but also for the diagnosis of the ABS system. In this research, wheel speed simulator is developed which can generate the equivalent signal as that of a real wheel speed sensor. The applicability of the wheel speed simulator is validated by the simulation tests using commercial ECU of ABS. The wheel speed simulator is based on the personal computer so that it can be applied to other vehicle tests involving vehicle speed and/or wheel speed.<br/>
민간경호원의 경호무도 수련형태가 자기효능감과 직무스트레스에 관한 연구

이 연구는 서울, 경기지역에서 경호업무를 수행하는 민간경호원 205명을 대상으로 경호무도 수련형태의 하위요인인 수련기간, 수련빈도, 수련강도에 따른 자기효능감과 직무스트레스의 관계를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 자료처리 방법은 SPSS Version 14.0 program을 이용하여 모든 자료의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였으며, 민간경호원의 경호무도 수련형태에 따른 자기효능감과 직무스트레스의 차이를 검증하기 위하여 다중회귀분석과 상관관계분석을 실시하였는데 그에 따른 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경호무도 수련기간이 오래될수록, 수련빈도가 잦을수록, 수련강도가 높을수록 자기효능감은 높아진다. 둘째, 경호무도 수련기간이 오래될수록, 수련빈도가 잦을수록, 직무스트레스의 하위요인 중 역할관련, 대인관계, 조직특성은 높아지며 수련강도가 높을수록 대인관계는 높아진다. 셋째, 민간경호원의 자기효능감이 높을수록 직무스트레스의 하위요인인 직무특성, 역할관련, 대인관계, 조직특성 등은 향상되어진다. 결론적으로, 민간경호원의 자기효능감과 직무스트레스의 긍정적 향상을 위해서는 수련기간과 빈도를 강조하여 경호무도를 실시하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료되어진다. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of security martial art’s type on self-efficacy and stress in private security guards. The total 205 subjects are composed of 65 women and 140 men who work at casino company as security guards in Seoul and Kyonggi province. Standard multiple regression analysis and relationship were used for data analysis. These are the conclusions of this study drawn from the data analysis through the methods and the process mentioned above. First, according to the long period, many times, and high intensity of martial arts makes more self-efficacy. Second, according to the long period and many times of martial arts makes more role relation, human relationship, and organization characteristics of job stress, also human relationship is higher with high intensity. Third, it recognizes job stress which are job characteristics, role relation, human relationship, and organization characteristics when self-efficacy is enlarged. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the period and frequency for security martial art is important for self efficacy and job stress in private security guards.

본 연구는 스크린골프 참여자의 자기관리와 여가만족의 관계에 미치는 관계를 규명하는 주된 목적으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구의 대상자는 2014년 J시에 소재하는 스크린골프장에 참가하는 20대 이상의 성인 남ㆍ녀를 모집단으로 설정하고, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 총 197부를 전사적 통계처리 실시하였다. 통계처리는 타당도와 신뢰도를 확보하기 위해 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석, 빈도 분석, t-test와 ANOVA 분석, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 자기관리차이 검증에서 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 성별에 따른 자기관리는 몸 관리에서 남성이 여성보다 높게 나타났다. 여가만족은 심리적 만족에서 여성이 남성보다 높게 나타났다. 연령과 여가만족의 모든 하위요인은 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기관리가 여가만족에 부분적으로 미치는 영향이 나타났다. 자기관리의 하위요인인 대인관계가 여가만족의 하위요인인 신체적 만족과 사회적 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자기관리를 통한 여가만족(심리적 만족, 교육적 만족, 휴식적 만족, 환경적 만족)에 미치는 영향 요인은 없는 것으로 나타났다. This study is self management of screen golf participants and on its relationship to the relationship of leisure satisfaction the main objective to investigate and reveal the study was conducted. The subjects of this research the participants in screen golf of J region in 2014 was adult men and women. The survey was conducted with 197 participants by means of the purposive sampling. Based on the collected data, this survey were analyzed Cronbach"s Alpha, T-test, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and ANOVA by using SPSS 18.0 version. First, The differ self management validated differences analysis result in accordance with the general characteristics was partially difference. The men than women on health management at self management at gender was higher. The women than men on psychological satisfaction at leisure satisfaction were high differences. The from ages in leisure satisfaction all lower factors showed no significant difference. Second, The physical satisfaction and social satisfaction on lower factors in leisure satisfaction in the interpersonal relationship on lower factors in self management statistically significant affect.

Vehicle dynamic analysis have been widely investigated in the last ten years. This paper presents a mathematical vehicle model. braking force control parameters, wheel control logic, and vehicle control strategy to analyze the dynamic characteristics of a vehicle equipped with ABS(Anti-lock Brake System). Analyses on the braking characteristics were performed for straight and J-turn brakng on the various road surfaces including split-μ. Analysis results showed the combination of slip ratio and wheel acceleration were desirable for the control logic. The adoption of the wheel acceleration was necessary to decide the type of road surface. For the vehicle control strategy for split-μ. select high-low method was confirmed as the most effective one.<br/>
