Minimally Invasive Laser-Assisted Biopsy of the Oral Lesions for Oral Graft-Versus-Host Disease after Hematopoietic Stem-Cell Transplantation

조혈줄기세포이식은 면역 결핍 질환, 자가 면역 질환, 악성 조혈 종양의 주된 치료법이다. 이종 조혈줄기세포이식의 주요한 합병증은 이식편대 숙주질환이다. 구강 점막 생검은 이식편대 숙주 질환의 확진과 치료계획 수립을 위해 필요하나 영양 결핍과 화학 요법으로 인해 전신상태가 불량한 환자에게 출혈과 균혈증을 일으킨다. 본 논문에서는 레이저를 이용한 최소 침습적 조직생검의 효능을 평가하였다. 모두 3개의 증례가 소개되었고 모든 환자의 의료 기록, 임상 사진, 조직병리학적 결과가 레이저를 이용한 조직생검의 효능을 평가하기 위해 검토되었다. 모든 환자는 생검 후 불편감이 없었고 심각한 합병증이 발생하지 않았다. 생검 조직의 질이 이식편대 숙주 질환을 확진하는 데에 적당했다. 구강 점막의 레이저를 이용한 최소 침습적 생검은 통상의 조직병리학적 생검에 비해 출혈을 일으키지 않아 감염과 균혈증, 술 후 흉터 생성을 줄이므로 이식편대 숙주 질환의 확진에 이로울 것이다. Hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (HSCT) is a treatment for immune deficiency, autoimmune diseases, and hematopoietic malignancies. The main complication of allogenic HSCT is graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). Oral mucosal biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis and treatment planning of GVHD, but this procedure causes bleeding and bacteremia in a poor general condition. We evaluated the efficacy of laser-assisted biopsy as a minimally invasive treatment. Three cases were described in this article. All patients' medical records, clinical photographs, and histopathologic findings were reviewed. All patients felt comfortable and no severe complications occurred. The quality of the obtained biopsy material was adequate for a definitive diagnosis of GVHD. Laser-assisted, minimally invasive biopsy of the oral mucosa does not cause bleeding, and it reduces the chances of infection, bacteremia, and postoperative scarring compared to the usual histopathologic biopsy procedure. It would thus be advantageous to use this procedure to biopsy GVHD patients.

임부의 성생활에 관한 조사연구

A Pregnancy is the women's normal physiological and developmental process, in which many psychological changes including sexual problems always occur. But there have been few guidelines on sexual life during pregnancy. So this study was performed to evaluate the sexual life of pregnant women, and to analyze the factors affecting satisfaction of sexual life during pregnancy. Questionnaires were given to pregnant women who visited two general hospitals for antenatal care as well as to attendants at a prenatal Lamaze class. The results were as followings : 1) The average age of the 194 pregnant women was 28.5 years ; 98.4% of them had educated more than 12 years. ; the average monthly income was about 15,000,000 won ; primigravida women were 81.4% of the total cases. 2) As the pregnancy progressed, the frequency of the sexual intercourses was decreased in 48.5% because of the anxiety on the fetal damages. The was no significant differences between frequency of sexual intercourses and the degrees of physical discomfort and spouse intimacy. Man superior position was taken in 88.1% ; the incidence of orgasms before and during pregnancy were 71.1% and 41.1%, respectively ; the incidence of painful sexual intercourse in primigravida women was decreased by pregnancy in 4.6%, and in the case of multigravida women it was increased in 2.1%. 3) The average point of sexual knowledge was 11.5 in total points of 20 ; that of sexual attitude was 29.1 in total points of 40 ; that of sexual satisfaction was 28.5 in perfects points of 40. 4) The factors which significantly related to the satisfaction of sexual life were spouse intimacy, sexual attitude, change of sexual body position during pregnancy, and the orgasms before and during pregnancy. Considering above results, nursing care and nursing intervention including sexual education and counselling programs are needed during pregnancy as well as before pregnancy.

Synthesis and Characterization of Poly[9,10-diphenylanthracene-4$^\prime$, 4$^\prime^\prime$-ylenevinylene-3,6-(N-2-ethylhexyl)carbazole]

A novel poly[9,10-diphenylanthracene-4',4"-ylenevinylene-3,6-(N-2-ethyl hexyl)carbazole] containing alternate diphenylanthracene and carbazole unit was synthesized by the Wittig reaction. The obtained polymer was soluble in common organic solvents and thermally stable up to 380 $^{\circ}C.$ The polymer gives rise to bright blue fluorescence both in solution and in thin solid films. The light emitted from the device (ITO/polymer/Al) was greenish-blue in color and clearly visible in daylight.

치료용 테이핑이 정상 성인의 배곧은근 근력에 미치는 영향

Background: In recent days, Taping has introduced developing to improve our muscle power and sustaining power more than a fixed idea that taping only functions for muscles and protection of the articulation. Method: This study were conducting in two weeks - 2009 September 1 to September 14 - investigating at random 24 normal adults in H university located at Jinju Korea and the result of experimentation how the application of kinesio taping and Bang-gue taping(B-GT) to rectus abdominal muscle has an effect on the improvement of abdominal muscle strength. Results: the following conclusion was drawn up: 1. As a result of each experience man and woman with abdominal muscle strength, each experience all man and woman with abdominal muscle strength(p=0.01) came out to have interrelation difference. 2. As a result of comparing B-GT with age-abdominal muscle strength, B-GT(p=0.02) came out to have interrelation difference. 3. As a result of comparing after before kinesio taping and after before B-GT with abdominal muscle strength, after before kinesio taping and after before B-GT(p=0.00) came out to have interrelation difference. Also, as a result of comparing after kinesio B-GT, after kinesio B-GT(p=0.03) came out to have interrelation difference. Conclusion: As mentioned above, this study showed how the application of kinesio taping and B-GT to affected the improvement of abdominal muscle strength.

In the WHO-EORTC (World Health Organization-European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer) classification, the primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas were divided into 4 groups: primary cutaneous marginal zone B-cell lymphoma, primary cutaneous follicle center cell lymphoma, primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, other, and primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg type (PCLBCL LT). PCLBCL LT is known to have more aggressive clinical behavior and a worse prognosis than the other groups of primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas. We report here on a case of PCLBCL LT in a 55-year-old male who presented witha multiple erythematous nodules on the right leg. After chemotherapy, the skin lesions had almost cleared, but afterward the tumor was revealed to have metastasized to the brain during 1 year. (Korean J Dermatol 2009;47(10):1149∼1153)

Um 1900 beobachtet sich ein Phanomen um Richard Wagner, das einem Kult vergleichbar ist. Die Wirkung von Richard Wagner und seinem Werk blieb dabei nicht nur auf die Musikwelt beschrankt. Auch in der Literatur wird sie stark reflektiert. Zahlreiche und namhafte Autoren haben sich mit dem Thema `Wagner und seine Musik` beschaftigt. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird anhand einiger Erzahltexte das europaweite Wagner-Phanomen um 1900 ins Auge gefasst. Vorab zu erwahnen ist, dass es bei der Wagnerrezeption nicht immer eine klare Trennlinie zwischen der Person Wagner und der seiner Werke zu ziehen ist. Zur naheren Betrachtung werden Thomas Manns Walsungenblut, Arthur Schnitzlers Der Weg ins Freie und Franz Werfels Verdi herangezogen. Ziel ist es dabei, einen Protagonistentypus, den jungen dekadenten Wagnerschwarmer, zu charakterisieren und diesen im Zusammenhang der Wagnerschen Musik zu sehen. Techniken wie Halbtone, Dissonanzen und unendliche Melodien, die vor allem Wagners Spatwerke pragen, werden im Erzahlgefuge effektiv eingesetzt. Sie helfen dabei, die Denk- und Handlungsweise der Protagonisten zu ergrunden. Bei Musik mit diesen Techniken werden Eindrucke und Gefuhle wie dauernde Verschiebung und endloses Warten auf den entscheidenden Moment hervorgerufen. Außerdem ´opfern sich´ die Frauengestalten wie in Wagneropern, um die mannlichen Protagonisten als narzisstische und dilettantische Kunstlerfigur zu ´befreien´. Auch das literarische Erscheinungsbild von der Person Wagner selbst bleibt nicht unbeleuchtet. Wagner wirkt uber die Gaben als großer Komponist hinaus oft als ein monologisierender Selbstdarsteller, als `Schauspieler`. Er wird zudem in seiner Wirkung als ein geheimnisvoll verfuhrerischer, erotisierender Mensch gezeichnet.

‘조선군 임시병참사령부’의 부산 숙영 시행과 지역 변화

부산은 일본 군사수송의 중계지였다. 1937년 7월 중일전쟁을 일으킨 일본은 2개월간 3차례에 걸쳐 병력 20.9만명, 말 4.5만필, 후방부대, 물자 등을 긴급수송 했다. 부산에서 수송을 총괄한 것은 조선군 임시병참사령부 부산지부였다. 부산병참지부는 부산 내 각 단체들과 숙영 전반의 지원을 협의했고, 부산부의 전 일본인 가옥을 대상으로 군인들을 숙영시켰다. 급히 마계장도 설치하여 군마 숙영도 시행했다. 이 글은 군의 숙영지가 없는 지역에 어떻게 군인과 군마가 숙영하고, 군사수송은 지역에 어떠한 영향을 끼쳤는지 살펴보고자 했다. 부산병참지부의 보고서를 토대로 군사수송과 지역의 관계에 대해 몇 가지 사안을 주목했다. 첫째는 대규모의 부대가 부산에 숙영하면서 이들을 통제할 장치가 갖추어지지 않았고, 이것은 지역의 사회적 문제로 내재되어 있었다. 둘째는 소비가 확대되면서 물가가 급등했고, 부산병참지부는 부산부청과 함께 물가를 통제하기 위해 여러 가지 조치를 취했다. 셋째는 부산병참지부의 대규모 예산이 부산부민과 부산 지역에 직접 지출되면서 지역 경제의 순환으로 이어졌다. 넷째는 군사수송을 우선하여 보통열차의 운행 횟수 감소, 철도 화물취급 제한, 선박의 부두 사용 통제 등의 일련의 제제는 상업 도시인 부산의 경제에 악영향을 끼쳤다. 다섯째는 부산병참지부에서 향후 숙영지 확보가 반드시 필요하다고 보았고, 이것은 1937년 부산시가지계획 시행과 1940년대 부산에 들어선 군사시설과 무관하지 않다. 여섯째는 민가숙영지 설정시 제외된 조선인들에게는 지역의 경제 활성화의 영향이 제한적이었을 것으로 추정된다. The modern history of Korea was a period of war. The war did not take place directly on the Korean Peninsula, but it played a role in the rear for the Japanese war. How did this affect the Korean Peninsula? The answers under the subjects of Japanese army and logistics, military and region, war and transportation will be discovered. This thesis determined the area of Busan in the perspective of war and army. Japan opened Gyeongbu Line and Gyeongui Line in 1905, and used the railroad of Joseon as a means of military transportation. Despite the difference in scale and means, the military transportation continued until 1945. Busan also served as military camps. Camp is a place where the troop takes a rest or gathers in the rear to prepare for future movement. Japan started the dispatch of Siberian troops in 1918, Manchurian Incident in 1931, Sino-Japanese War in 1937, and Asia-Pacific War in 1941, and implemented a massive emergency transportation. All the soldiers of considerable size passed through Busan. As it was unable to find any data from the 1940s, the military transportation immediately after the Sino-Japanese war in 1937 was considered the research period and subject. This is because transportation reports are still remaining that recorded the Japanese army"s military quarters, food service, hygiene, military horse, and support of local people in September 1937. As a result, many influences to the region by the army were identified, including the social economy of Busan, lifestyles of residents and urban planning.

With the growth and development of the beauty industry in the 21st century, nail art has evolved into a means of social expression pursuing the beauty of the general public, maintaining artistic values. Today, nail art, a field of art maximizing beauty, is highlighted as one of the highest-value-added industries. As the number of women in the workforce rises, people’s interest in various nail design has increased. In fact, nail art has gradually evolved into an element used to improve the degree of perfection in styling. The scope of nail art has been expanded to the means of value expression, which represents the degree of self-management and confidence, and it has become more important. As Albrecht Durer (1471-1524) attempted to express his new awareness on pride and self-consciousness through hands in self-portraits, hands themselves can represent who we are as a person. Under the cultural phenomena of hallyu (popularity of Korean pop culture), there have been more opportunities to introduce Korean culture to the world. Accordingly, there has been a necessity to have traditional Korean nail art in the K-beauty industry as well. To reduce the closeness of the ‘full coat’ and maintain the retention of gel nail, this study proposed space nail art. In addition, this study tried to establish theoretical grounds through related books, literature records and various web sites to analyze space nail, which as yet has not been greatly studied. This study is also aimed to propose differentiated nail art in customers’ aesthetic needs and the unlimited possibility in the development of nail art materials.

Pyoderma gangrenosum is a rare destructive inflammatory skin disease. The lower extremities are most commonly affected, but the head and neck are rarely affected. We call the cases in which the head and neck are involved malignant pyoderma, which could be lethal. We report here on a case of malignant pyoderma in a 66-year-old man. His condition was markedly aggravatedin spite of the medical treatment. The lesions were improved by adjuvant surgery, including aggressive ulcer excision and grafting of autologous skin.
