Shipping companies have suffered additional losses because of irrational shipping finance decisions. This paper analyses the cases according to the behavioral finance theories. The theories of behavioral finance used in the analysis and research of this paper are the anchoring effect and sunk cost effect. The backgrounds and reasons for the decisions regarding ship financing are analysed based on the questionnaire responses and case studies. As a result of the analysis, it is found that the behavioral finance theories, anchoring effect, and sunk cost effect, have effects on the ship financing decisions, that errors related to behavioral finance can result in irrational decisions, and that shipping companies suffered additional losses because of the behavioral finance errors.
섬유복합재료로서 PVA 섬유와 GO를 혼입한 FRC의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구

Experimental research was carried out to investigate the mechanical characteristics of concrete with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers and graphene oxide (GO) by reinforcing materials. Concrete splitting tensile, flexural and compressive strength tests were conducted by substituting various amount of PVA fibers fixed with GO. Result showed that the improvement effect was less than that of using a single type of reinforced material, but side effects such as reduced compressive strength occurring in fiber reinforced concrete were reduced. When 0.3% of PVA fibers was blended, the maximum effect was obtained while minimizing side effects, but it is necessary to adjust the blending amount of GO. 본 연구에서는 PVA(Poly Vinyl Alcohol)섬유와 GO(Graphene Oxide)를 혼입한 섬유보강 콘크리트(FRC)의 역학적 특성을 평가하고자 하였다. GO와 PVA 섬유를 동시에 혼입한 FRC 각각의 재료를 단일로 사용하였을 때보다 기대효과가 다소 미흡하였지만, 각 재료의 하이브리드화로 인장강도가 개선되면서 PVA 섬유 혼입률 0.1∼0.3%과 GO 혼입률 0.025%에서 우수한 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 특히 PVA 섬유는 0.3%로 혼합하였을 때 부작용을 최소화하면서 최대의 효과를 보였지만, 적절한 GO 배합비를 조절할 필요가 있으며 FRC내 GO와 PVA 섬유의 최적배합을 구하기 위한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
