Hydrogen peroxide (HP) is used for strong oxidizer, bleaching agent and disinfectant. In the study, the influence of hydrogen peroxide was investigated for the optimal hair color change by 3 different the concentration and processing time. Virgin hair was collected and divided into 10 pieces. One piece was used control hair, and the 9 pieces were treated with 3%, 6%, 9% HP and incubated in 10, 20, 30 minutes at 40oC. The change of color, physical properties and morphology in hair was observed by chromameter and SEM. In the result, lightness, redness and yellowness of 3% HP treated hair increased slightly in 30 minutes, in contrast 6% and 9% HP treated hair in 20 minutes increased quickly and steeply. Thickness and tensile strength of 9% HP in 10. 20, 30 minutes treated hair shafts showed thinner and lower than 3% and 6% HP treated hair shafts. The stongest damage of hair cuticles such as nick, swelling and exfoliation observed in 9% HP treated hair shafts. In conclusion, 3% HP treatment may be not useful for healthy hair, and 6% HP treatment in 20~30 minutes may be weak hair and lightly damaged hair. And 9% HP could be used carefully for healthy and thick hair and incubated maximum 20 minutes.

This study focuses on the understanding of plane and three-dimensional structures for the formativeness of design and the creation of new three-dimensional artwork with matching functional, structural and esthetic characteristics. Also, it expands expressiveness in the field of hair-design, especially in regard to variety and creativity, for the development of the up-style field by understanding the formative principle and using it for design. Therefore, the objective of this study is to establish a concept for the creation of the up-style design, and suggest the work based on the use of points, lines and sides together with the principle of design. Regarding the study method, documents and practical cases have been analyzed. All the previous studies, domestic and foreign documents related to hair, and other related data on the Internet have been considered for the study. Hair-design expresses various individual characteristics well, while making people become beautiful and feel comfortable. Also, by combining the artistic spirit and scientific intelligence of creative formative activities, it satisfies people's beauty.

The rate of concern for one's physical appearance is significantly increasing among adolescents. In particular, during the rapid development of secondary growth, young adults express themselves through their appearances notably by utilizing different hair styles and dyes. The subjects of this study were mainly youths who lived in Seoul or the Gyeonggido Province. First, the data regarding the youths' attitudes, cognizance, and level of satisfaction have been collected and analyzed. According to the youths' physical characteristics and their awareness and attitude towards taking one's appearance and hair coloring. Finally, for this study, data that was collected and examined what type of look or style that the young people showed a liking for. For this study, SPSS 16.0 was utilized to define the factor analysis and reliability analysis (Cronbach's Alpha), increasing awareness of one's own appearance and attitude regarding hair. According to certain physical characteristics and the attitude/awareness regarding how they manage their appearances. The T-teat and analysis of variance (ANOVA) measured youths' perspective of hair and physical appearance and level of satisfaction As a result, the first factor was the raised awareness of physical appearance and how it is taken care of. The outward appearance has been recognized as an important factor in expressing the image of individual, and there has been a trend towards changing the image through a variety of hair styles. The thermal permanent wave treatment has recently been given much preference. However, the flat iron permanent treatment is accompanied by strong heat treatment and therefore increases the damage to hairs. This study conducted a preliminary investigation into the awareness among the consumers and beauty experts towards the hair damage which results from the flat iron permanent treatment. The results showed that both consumers and beauty experts recognized that the hair flat iron would result in the damage to the hairs. In response to that, an experiment was conducted to derive the appropriate temperature of flat iron permanent treatment. The results indicated that the thickness of hair drastically decreased in black hair group as the heat treatment temperature increased. Specifically, the brightness(L*) increased while the redness (a*) and yellowness (b*) decreased. In addition, the results of measurement with the SEM suggested that the extent of hair damage induced by the heat treatment was higher in the colored hair group than in black hair group. It is considered that the damage to the hairs could be reduced by the heat treatment ofup to 180oC for the black hair group and up to 160oC for the colored hair group, regarding the heat treatment of up to 120oC-200oC.

This study was carried out to know the effect of stress types of hair industry Employee based on the feeling center of Enneargram personality types on stress and coping strategies. The present study will suggest basic data for minimizing the stress and maximizing the efficiency. Firstly, the effect of job stress based on the feeling center of Enneargram on stress has partly significant result in all stress. Above all, the higher level of dissatisfaction of working expectancy leads to the higher chronic fatigue of stress, which has the highest power of explanation. Secondly, influence of job stress based on the feeling center of Enneargram on coping strategies of stress has partly significant result in all of the coping strategies, except hoping management. Above all, the higher level of dissatisfaction of expectation of work rather than dissatisfaction of responsibility avoidance of job stress leads to the tendency of the defensive management strategy. In conclusion, the higher level of dissatisfaction of expectation of work of hair industry Employee based on the feeling center of Enneargram personality types is likely lead to the higher level of stress.

The modern society is pluralistic society where various cultures are exchanging. With the improvement of life quality, a desire for beauty is increasing. Beauty has been changing through various cultural backgrounds. Hair design that seeks for beauty and personality is included in culture and art sector that is affected by policy, economy and society of a certain period. Hair design follows aesthetic value by applying formative characteristics and is a work that makes hair shaped as a formative style. Representatively, designs in the architecture or clothing sector where formative designs are frequently applied, were mostly focused on study approaches based on formative principle as a fundamental vision. In the aspect of culture and art, fashion design has a close relation with hair design and the two sectors affect mutually. In this context, this study examined formative principle and elements of design in the form of fashion design as a design development method of hair style to express the appearance as up-style. Based on this, this study aims at following development in various hair style activities and creative design sectors by connecting fashion design with hair design which have theoretical similarity and mutual relation.
