주파수 가변 고속 디지털 MRI 모뎀 RF부 설계와 구현

In this paper, we designed and made RF block of variable frequency digital modem for high speed MIRI system that can support not only multi-nuclei system but also any magnetic intensity(1.0T~3.0T). We executed simulation of fixed frequency digital modem using fixed band pass filter(BPF), variable frequency digital modem using variable band pass filter(tunable filter). Based on these simulations, variable band pass filter(tunable filter) named Micropole is ordered and manufactured. We designed and made RF block of variable frequency digital modem for high speed MRI system using variable band pass filter(tunable filter). And then we tested this board using PC and function generator and observed the output spectrum using spectrum analyzer. These spectrums are very clear and wide bandwidth about 500KHz and the level of main spectrum is 60~70dB more than harmonics or spurious. This difference of level is available for MRI system.
Gallamine Triethiodide 가 안압에 미치는 영향

The purpose og this experiment was to evaluate the effect of gallamine triethiodide on the intraocular pressure during general anesthesia for intraocular surgery. Twenty parionts in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, physical status I and II, aged from 15 to 65 years with no eye or kidney diseases were stydied during anesthesia for elective surgery. All were premedicated with 50mg of meperidine and 0.4mg of atropine. Before inducation intraocular pressure was measured under topical anesthesia with 0.5% tetracaine in the eye control value determined. Anesthesia was indyced with 5mg/kg of 2.5% thiopental and I mg/kg of succinycholine. The intraocular pressure was measured after endo-tracheal intubation.Anesthesia was maintained with 2mg/kg of meperidine, nitrous oxide and oxygen. On the return of spontaneous respiration followig succinycholine, 2mg/kg of gallamine triethiodide was adminidtered. Subsequent measurements were made 10 and 20 minutes after gallamine triethiodide administration, respectively. The results were as follows; 1) Succinycholine caused a significant rise in intraocular pressure. 2) Gallamine trierhiodide cause a slight decrease in intraocular pressure 10 and 20 minutes after administration.
Political Capital: An Analysis of Congress Voting on the Financial Regulations

We find that members of the House of Representatives who vote for deregulation are more likely to be employed in the private sector after leaving Congress than those who do not vote for deregulation. An analysis of voting behavior in a major financial regulation—the Gramm- Leach-Bliley Act of 1999—shows that representatives use voting to enhance their careers. The results are consistent with politicians’ public rent-seeking and show that political capital is as valuable for politicians as it is for companies.
복강경 담낭절제술시 증가된 복부압에 의한 호흡기계의 변화

Background: We examined whether increases of intra-abdominal pressure would decrease compliance (C) of both lung and chest wall. Methods: We measured airway and esophageal pressure in 10 anesthetized/paralyzed tracheally intubated patients during mechanical ventilation at the respiratory rate of 10 freq/min and the tidal volume of 10 ml/kg undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Measurements were made at 0 mmHg intra- abdominal pressure the (Pab) in supine position and at 15 mmHg Pab in 10 head-up (reverse Trendelenburg) position at 0, 5, 10 and 15 min. after CO2 insufflation. Results: We found that abdominal carbon dioxide insufflation caused a marked increase in peak airway pressure, plateau pressure and esophageal pressure (p<0.05); a reduction in compliance of respiratory system and chest wall (p<0.05). Conclusion: These changes should be considered in patients such as those with pulmonary disease, undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy where increase in impendance may be critical.
