        Changes of the Ultrastructure and $Ca^{2+}$ Distribution after Transient Ischemia and after Reperfusion in the Myocardial Cells of Isolated Perfused Guinea Pig Hearts

        허혈로 인하여 손상을 받은 심근세포의 기능을 재건하기 위하여 재관류가 반드시 이로운가하는 것에 대하여는 논란이 많다. 따라서 저자는 체중 500그람 내외의 기니피그를 실험재료로 하여 일과성허혈(10분) 및 일과성허혈후 재관류시(20분) 좌심실 심근세포의 미세구조 및 칼슘분포의 변화를 비교관찰하여 재관류가 심근세포재건에 어느정도 도움을 줄 수 있는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 대조군에서는 심근세포의 미세구조가 비교적 잘 보존되어 있었으며 심근세포막 및 사립체내에서 20nm 크기 정도의 칼슘침착을 볼 수 있었다. 이에 반하여 일과성허혈후, 대부분의 심근세포에서는 세포막손상, I 대의 확장, 사립체의 종창, 세포내 수분축적, 당원과립의 고갈, 지방소적유령(ghost)의 출현, 염색질의 응집 및 변연부로의 이동, 세포연접의 분리 등의 미세구조의 변화와 심근세포막 및 사립체내에서 칼슘침착의 현저한 감소를 볼 수 있었으나, 비가역성의 변화는 찾아 볼 수 없었다. 그러나 허혈후 재관류시 일부의 심근세포에서는 큰 변화를 보이지 않았지만, 많은 세포에서 이러한 미세구조의 변화는 보다 심해져 국소적으로 근절(sarcomere)의 과이완 및 striation pattern의 소실, 세포부종 등이 현저해졌으나, 세포막 및 사립체내에서는 대조군에서와 같이 칼슘침착이 재출현하였다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 일과성허혈후 재관류는 심근세포의 칼슘 조절기능 회복에 어느정도 도움을 줄 수 있으나 허혈성 손상을 악화시킬 가능성도 있을 것으로 생각된다. It has been debated whether postischemic reperfusion is necessarily beneficial to salvage the myocardium after ischemic insult or not. Therefore, this study was undertaken to compare the ultrastructural changes as well as the distribution of $Ca^{2+}$ in the ventricular myocardial cells after transient ischemia and after postischemic reperfusion, and to suspect to what extent the postischemic reperfusion is beneficial. After 10 minutes of ischemia, the heart developed wide I bands, glycogen depletion, intramyofibrillar edema, mitochondrial swelling, clumping and migration of chromatin, ghosts of lipid droplets, disintegration of cell junctions, sarcolemmal disruption, and loss of $Ca^{2+}$ binding capacity of the sarcolemma and the mitochondria. In spite of reperfusion, in a large number of cells, the ultrastructure was more severely damaged, however, $Ca^{2+}$ binding capacity of the sarcolemma and the mitochondria restored. These results suggest that postischemic reperfusion may help the myocardial cells to restore their function to control $Ca^{2+}$ to a certain extent, but that it could aggravate the ischemic insult.

        당대(唐代) 호인용(胡人俑)의 복식연구

        A close review of the nomadic figurines of the Tang Dynasty excavated from Luoyang and Xian show influences of Sogdian costume in the pointed hat, influences of Turks in the turn-down collar and belt with decorative hanging ornaments, and West Asian influences in the short-sleeved banbi and pouches. Male figurines wear a round collared pao (robe) right over left, with narrow breadth trousers, belt with decorative hanging ornaments, and boots. For the headdress they wear pointed hats or officials’ hat with pods, and those figures wearing hairband or have their hair parted in two are considered to be of low rank. Females dressed in male garb started to appear from the period of Northern Qi and was the latest fashion trend for young women during the reign of Gaozong and Wuzetian of Tang. The culture of Tang was international in character and the ethnic culture of Sassanian Persia imported through the Silk Road gained great popularity in the capital city of Xian. This ethnic trend in culture and dress reached its peak in the early 8th century. The nomadic figurines of the Tang dynasty show features of pointed hats, turn-down collared robes, banbi, belts with decorative hanging ornaments and pouches, women dressed in men’s garb, colorful textiles and patterns, easy mode of wearing and exposure as can be seen in dresses of the Xiyu regions. These were integrated with the traditional Chinese mode of dress such as the officials’ hat with pods, long robes such as pao worn right over left which created an international dressing style.

        북위(北魏)시대의 호복(胡服)연구

        A new clothing style developed in accordance with the influence of clothing of the Han period and with its absorption into or combination with Xianbei's style. A chinese garment, Nomadic Costume, was introduced from and northern nomadic tribes including Xiongnu. in the era of King Jo-Mu-Ryong, and used for a combat uniform after Wei Jin period. The original Nomadic Costume was folded to the left with tight sleeves and trousers, but the Han race transformed it into a new pattern, Go-Sup, which is folded to the right with loose sleeves and baggy trousers. The costumes of offer man in Stone Cave and figurines from the tombs appeared in the form of Chinese style after Xiao-wen-di(孝文帝)'s clothing reformation, but it turned into Ho-Bok with Chinese images but in Xianbei's style since the capital-transfer to Luoyang. Although Xiao-wen-di's Sinonization policy restricted Ho-Bok, the public were still wearing them, and Nomadic Costume rather had a great influence on Han clothes. It is commonly seen that they preferred practical, tight sleeves and trousers, wore boots and a shawl, used splendid colors and felts in Xianbei's style on Han costumes and had lining with the pattern of a lotus flower or the arabesque of honeysuckle on textiles and trimming. An intriguing fact is that a cross topknot of the Northern Wei period was discovered in An-Ak tomb no. 3 of Go-Gu-Ryo but that a coat string of a Buddhist statue in Yun-Gang Cave is similar to that of Han-Bok, Korean traditional costume. By constantly investigating the relationship between clothing styles, the cultural exchange between Go-Gu-Ryo and Northern Wei at that time could be understood as well.
