        Foreign body aspiration is a cause of the accidental death at home. Therefore, early intervention and proper management is important. A bronchoscopy is indicated whenever there is a suggestive history and medical opinion. Occasionally, foreign body removal with bronchoscopy may be fail. But, on the situation, there is no definite recommended standard management. We experienced two cases of bronchial foreign body could not be removed with bronchoscopy at first intervention. The one was diagnosed too late. Endobronchial granulation tissue and edema made it impossible to find the foreign body at first bronchoscopy. After steroid and antibiotic therapy, foreign body could be removed with secondary bronchoscopy. Another was bronchial foreign body jammed tightly bronchus intermedius. Even after medical therapy, patient got aggravated. So foreign body was removed with bronchotomy.

        Simian Virus 40 복제 원점 부위의 특정 염기서열의 기능

        To define the roles of the early palindrome domain within the SV40 replication origin region involved in initiation of DNA synthesis, 800-bp DNA fragment containing the simian virus 40(SV40) origin of replication was inserted into filamentous phage M13 DNA. Four kinds of mutants were introduced into this recombinant phage DNA, M13SV-2, by oligonucleotide-directed site-specific mutagenesis. Then, the origin fragments containing one or two base substitutions were subcloned into pAT153 vector, a derivative of pBR322. In two mutants (pATSV-A,-B) the stems were destroyed by single base substitutions. In the other two mutants(pATSV-C,-D) the normal stems were restored by additional base substitutions which complements the bases altered initially. While pATSV-A and pATSV-C could tolerate base substitutions, pATSV-B and pATSV-D showed dramatic decrease in DNA replication.

        Hepatitis B Virus 의 표면항원 유전자의 Cloning 과 발현에 관하여

        Dane particles were purified from human plasma and the DNA containing the single strand region was filled-in by endogenous DNA polymerase. Recombinant plasmid pHBV-315 was constructed by inserting the total HBV DNA into pBR322 DNA. Restriction enzyme map and nucleotide sequence of pHBV-315 suggested that the HBsAg subtype of the cloned HBV DNA is adr and how HBsAg gene is arranged in pHBV-315. pHBV-15 was constructed to direct the expression of HBsAg gene. When LMTK-cells and E.coli were transformed by pHBV-15, HBsAg was produced in LMTK-cells but not in E.coli.

        치안분야의 정보통신기술 활용방안 연구 - 빅데이터기반 치안수요분석과 대응체계를 중심으로 -

        급격한 정보통신기술의 발달은 경찰에게 새로운 도전이자 기회가 되고 있다. 이 연구는 국내외 치안분야의 ICT기술 활용사례를 검토하고, 그 시사점을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 정보통신기술 활용에 관한 경찰활동의 근거이론으로 정보주도 경찰활동(intelligence-led policing), 예측적 경찰활동(predictive policing), 증거기반 경찰활동(evidence-based policing)의 개념에 대해 소개하였다. 또, 빅데이터 기반 범죄분석과 예측기술 활용방안과 경찰의 정보통신체계 및 지휘통제기술의 고도화방안에 대해 논의하였다. 이 연구를 통해 확인한 시사점으로 (1) 기본데이터의 확보, (2) 활용가능한 통합D/B의 구축, (3) 정책결정자의 활용성 증대, (4) 유관기관 사이의 교류협력, (5) 전문가집단의 양성, (6) 통합 D/B구축의 법적 근거와 실무적 가이드라인 마련을 제안한다. Rapid advances in information and communications technology are new challenges and also opportunities for the police. For the purpose of identifying its implications, this study reviews utilization cases of information and communications technology in the field of public security in South Korea and other countries. As theoretical basis for utilization of information and communications technology, this study introduces intelligence-led policing, predictive policing and evidence-based policing. Also, utilization of big-data based crime analysis and crime prediction technology, as well as advancement of information and communications system and command and control technology of the police, are discussed. Based on the identified implications in this study, the following proposals are made. They are (1) procuring basic data, (2) creating an integrated database, (3) increasing utilization of policy decision-makers, (4) exchange and cooperation between related institutions, (5) training professional analyzers, (6) establishing legal basis and practical guidelines for an integrated database.

        완전삭제 도구 사용 흔적에 관한 연구

        The data wiping is a technique which perfectly deletes data in a storage to prevent data recovery. Currently, management of stored data is important because of increasing an accident of personal information leakage. Especially, if you need to discard data contained personal information, using a wiping tool which permanently deletes data to prevent unnecessary personal information leakage. The data wiping is also used for data security and privacy protection. However the data wiping can be used intentionally destruction of evidence. This intentionally destruction of evidence is important clues of forensic investigation. This paper demonstrates the methods for detecting the usage of wiping tools in digital forensic investigation. 완전삭제 기술은 저장장치 내 데이터를 복구가 불가능하도록 흔적 없이 완벽하게 삭제하는 기술이다. 최근 개인정보 유출 사고가 급증함에 따라 저장된 데이터의 관리가 중요해지고 있다. 특히 개인정보가 포함된 데이터를 폐기해야 하는 경우, 데이터를 영구적으로 삭제하는 완전삭제 도구를 사용함으로써 개인정보에 대한 불필요한 유출을 막을 수 있다. 또한 완전삭제 기술은 데이터 보안 및 프라이버시 보호 측면으로 활용 가능하다. 그러나 완전삭제 기술은 의도적으로 사건과 관련된 증거를 인멸하기 위해 사용될 수도 있다. 이러한 의도적인 증거 인멸은 사건 수사에 있어서 중요한 실마리가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 포렌식 수사 과정에서 완전삭제 도구의 사용 흔적을 확인할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

        협력치안을 통한 4대 사회악 근절방안에 관한 연구- 익산시와 익산경찰서의 사례를 중심으로 -

        이 연구는 현 정부의 가장 큰 관심사인 4대 사회악 근절방안으로 협력치안을 통한 접근을 제안하며, 협력치안의 모델을 가장 잘 보여주고 있는 익산시와 익산경찰서의 사례를 중심으로 4대 사회악 근절방안을 검토하였다. 전국적으로 4대 사회악을 근절하기 위한 다양한 노력이 시도되고 있지만, 근본적인 문제해결을 위해서는 지역사회경찰활동, 치안서비스 공동생산이론, 제3자 경찰활동 등에서 제안하는 바와 같은 지역사회 내 자원의 적극적인 협력과 지원을 토대로 하는 협력치안의 형태가 바람직하다. 특히, 4대 사회악이 비록 중앙정부의 의제설정에 따른 것이라는 특수성이 있으나, 성폭력, 가정폭력, 학교폭력, 불량식품이라고 하는 사회문제가 경찰이나 정부기관의 노력으로만 해소될 수 있는 문제가 아니라는 점에서 시민의 적극적인 관심과 지원이 필수적이다. 이 연구는 4대 사회악 근절을 위해 익산시가 ‘4대 사회악 근절 추진본부’를 설립하였고, 익산경찰서가 ‘맞춤형 통합지원 네트워크’를 구축하였지만, 일정부분 한계가 있다고 본다. 연구를 통해 확인된 한계를 극복하기 위해 다음과 같이 개선방안을 제안하였다. ① 지역자원 활용 강화, ② 지역자원의 추가발굴, ③ 4대 사회악 유형세분화와 대응정책 개발, ④ 정보공유를 통한 범죄예방전략 수립 등을 제안한다. This study proposes an approach to cooperative policing in the best interest of the countermeasures of the current government to eradicate four social evils. It was investigated a model of cooperative policing in the case of Iksan city and Iksan police department. Various efforts have been attempts to eradicate four social evils. However, in order to solve the fundamental problems in the form of cooperative policing, such as that proposed a community policing, police service co-production theory, and third party policing, that is based on the active cooperation of the resource in the community is desirable. Active interest in social issues(sexual violence, domestic violence, school violence, and food violations) is essential for the support of the citizens in that is not a problem that can be solved only by the police or government agency efforts. This study looks that build of ‘Promotion Headquarters for the Eradication of 4 Social Evils in Iksan city’ and ‘Integration Support Network of Iksan Police Department’ is a certain part of the limits for the eradication of 4 social evils. To overcome the limitations identified through the study suggest improvements as follows: ① strengthen local resource utilization, ② additional excavation of local resources, ③ 4 evils’ type specification and response policy development, ④ crime prevention strategies through information sharing.

        Treatment choice for primary pulmonary sarcoma is complete surgical resection. A 69 year old man developed dyspnea due to left lung atelectasis. There was endobronchial tumor completely obstructing the left main bronchus. The tumor was resected completely by main bronchial resection via a left thoracotomy incision, and diagnosed as leiomyosarcoma. Bronchoscopy and computed tomography in 6 months after operation, there was no evidence of recurrence.

        식도이완불능증에시 복강경을 이용한 식도근절개술 및 전방위저주름술 - 1예 보고 -

        An 18-year old woman had dysphagia and frequent vomiting after meals for 6 years. She lost 15 kg in 6 months recently. After esophageal manometry, she was diagnosed with achalasia. We decided to use laparoscopic surgery because there was no symptomatic improvement after medication. We made small 5 incisions on her abdomen. We performed Heller myotomy and Dor fundoplication. We performed esophagogram one day after the operation. There was no leakage of the contrast media, and it passed well. She started to eat at the 2nd day after the operation and was discharged on the 9th day without other specific problem. 환자는 18세 여자로 6년 전부터 연하곤란 및 식사 후 빈번하게 구토가 발생하였으며, 최근 6개월 동안 15 kg의 체중 감소가 있었다. 식도 계측검사에서 식도이완불능증으로 진단되었다. 약물치료를 하였으나 증상이 호전되지 않아 복강경을 이용한 수술을 결정하였다. 복부에 5개의 트로카용 소절개를 시행하였고, 복강경을 이용하여 근절개술과 전방위저부주름술을 시행하였다. 수술 후 1일째 식도조영술을 시행하였다. 조영제가 누출 없이 원활하게 통과되었다. 수술 후 2일째 식이를 시행하였으며, 술 후 9일째 특별한 문제없이 퇴원하였다.

        DNA Amplified Fingerprinting 기법을 이용한 Salmonella pullorum과 Salmonella gallinarum의 다형성 비교 분석

        This study was performed to detect the Salmonella genus-specific DNA marker for comparing of polymophisms between S pullorum and S gallinarum by using PCR amplified techniques. A total of ten primers were used to detect DNA polymorphisms from S pullorum and S gallinarum. The number of DAF bands detected per each primer varied from 26 to 45, with an average of 32.7 using 10 primers. A total of 327 DAF bands were generated and among them 123 bands were polymorphic(37.6%). These DNA amplified fingerprinting(DAF) specific bands for S pullorum and S gallinarum were observed from all primers. For S pullorum, GEN 60-04, GEN 70-04 and GEN 70-03 primers showed a high level of polymorphism with 0.79, 0.70 and 0.57, respectively. But GEN 60-05 primer did not show a level of polymorphism. For S gallinarum, GEN 70-03, 60-04, 60-07, 70-05 and 70-04 primers showed a higher a low level of polymorphism from 0.16 to 0.28. Each five strains of S pullorum and S gallinarum were isolated from chickens showed typical clinical signs related with infection of pullorum disease or fowl typhoid at commercial chicken farms. DNA markers of these strains produced by GEN 70-04, GEN 70-05 and GEN 70-08 showed significant difference of band patterns between S pullorum and S gallinarum. These DNA markers could be used for comparison of DNA marker polymorphism between S pullorum and S gallinarum as well as rapid diagnosis of fowl typhoid and pullorum disease of domestic fowls.

        소 성장호르몬 cDNA 및 유전자의 분리와 대장균에서 cDNA 의 발현

        cDNA was prepared from poly(A)^+mRNA isolated from pituitaries and cloned in E. coli. It contains the coding sequence for bovine growth hormone(bGH), The cloned bGH cDNA was confirmed by colony hybridization, restriction enzyme mapping, and nucleotide sequencing. The cloned eDNA was modified to construct the plasmid that expresses the bovine growth hormone in bacteria. A genomic gene of bovine growth hormone was also cloned using the bGH cDNA as a probe.
